I don't see the NXi mod in my community folder. MSFS says I downloaded it. Where can I find it and how do I unload it if I want to try the WT G1000 V4.0? I really haven't given it much of a chance yet, but If they implement all those pages on the buttons, it could be great.

If it is an official mod it should show up in Content Manger, not the community folder.

Hello!

FYI: with the turbo bonanza installed, the gear in the c172 with floats (and the X-Cub with floats) doesn't work anymore, i.e. it can't be retracted, not with the "G"-key nor with the lever in the cockpit.

When installed from Marketplace, the NXi folder gets placed into:-

C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore

It should be here: Where ever you installed MSFS 2020 > Official > 

For me its: D:\Flight Simulator 2020\Official\Steam

The folder is called workingtitle-g1000nxi if it helps. Must be hiding well in there somewhere!

Do you have Microsoft? Is that why it's in your appdata? It shouldn't be there...

Just go to the content manager in-game, search for NXI, and uninstall it there.  It will still show as owned and uninstalled, and can easily be re-installed from there, as well.

News from the WT team from Discord: 

If you are flying with the G36, then yes, it will be fixed next release.......Yes, the mods do not appear to have some updates for the default bank modes, which the G1000 assumes should be ROL. They have them set as LVL.

WT has released the G1000 NXI V2 in the marketplace and I can now say that NAV GPS works perfectly with Robert's Mod V3. All good now 🙂

My God! Thank you so much!  I have been trying to trace this bug for ages.  I thought I was going mad.  How weird that Roberts G36 mod affects these float wheels.  Hopefully it can be traced out, as I love this G36 mod. 

Great that the new G1000 is working with it now as well . I fancy learning how to use it tonight.  The WT guys have done a great job on it.  Can anyone recommend a guide? Do WT have one?

We are excited to announce that v0.2.0 of the G1000NXi is launching on the marketplace very soon. This update brings a bunch of fixes and new features, which you can read all about on our website. Highlights include brightness controls, map orientation, activating approaches, airways and more…

One important item to note, though, is that VNAV is still a WIP. We’re in the midst of some changes on it and that work is not complete. We made the decision to not hold the entire release up for that and instead release v0.2.0 this week with the finicky VNAV capability. If you’re off-put by imperfection, we advise you to simply leave VNAV off – we’re aware of the current bugs, so don’t need bug reports related to VNAV. For the adventurous, you can work around most VNAV bugs by setting your preselected altitude to 0’.
