Can anybody help, I only have the Bonanza-Turbo-V3 folder in the community folder. I am unable to lift the aircraft off the ground. If I delete the V3 folder and fly the default G36 or any other default aircraft, I have no issues. I have the NXI G1000 installed via the MarketPlace. I have the latest SU5 installed.

Gentlemen-

Robert is dealing with some very urgent REAL LIFE issues.  Please just remove the mod and fly and enjoy the NXi.  Just as soon as it is possible, Robert will update.  Please, please be patient- no one wants it fixed and compatible more than he does, but first things first.

I flew Roberts G36 mod along with the NXi for quite a while this morning.  No issues whatsoever.

I also made the change to the xml code so that the wheels work on the default floatplanes now - all good!

Note that first time into the default C172 after installing the NXi, the screens were black and I couldn't get them on.  Next time in, no problem - they appeared.
I just thought I would mention these few quirks.

PS. It is really easy to do.  It takes seconds, and works perfectly without affecting the G36.  I am really grateful for the people who found and publicised it.  The issue was driving me crazy and I would never have linked it to the RY G36 mod.

@cavaricooperUntil your post, I had no idea that he was ill.  Please let him know that another IRL pilot and simmer who loves the Bonanza and his work is praying very hard for him to recover. The quality of his work makes him an international treasure. 

So I've got the itch to relax and fly the G36 after doing a lot of testing on an un-released bizjet. I had been using TheFrett's Improvement mod for quite some time, but now I understand that Young's Turbo mod still works great, despite not being updated in nearly a year, and I'd like to get that better performance.

That said, I've read that I can sort of "update" the turbo mod simply by copying the engines.cfg file into the Improvement mod for the turbo version of the G36 and, if I want, the flight model cfg file. Is there really that much of a difference between the two flight models? I'm not sure if I should just stick with Young's mod as whole or blend the two together for a sort of "best of both worlds" kind of mod.

Edit: Also, is there a difference in range between turbo and normally aspirated? How much, if any?

Be warned you cannot use any liverys for RY mob, unless there made just for it, edited  into it. But if you like the default red your fine the rest are..lets so..colourfull. The mod is great but I stoped using it when I got the M20R

That is entirely up to you... I fly with Rob Young's mod without any further changes (other than the animation fix).

If you like to create your own FrankenBonanza.. go for it!  😉

Sorry a bit confused, how do I know if I'm using a livery that uses Robs mod ?

Yes I do have Robs mod in my Community folder
