525A Citation CJ2 HD Series for FSX | P3D

Anyone have an idea on this one? Rolling down the runway this sort of humming sound starts. Sort of like "hmmmmmm......hmmmmmm.....hmmmmm..." and continues throughout the flight. It is not heard in flight prep or taxi. We all saw that in the Hawker and it was stopped by nudging the speed brake handle to the fully stowed position. On this aircraft I am puzzled. Any thoughts? Greetings, I am hoping someone might help with this, I just installed the KTN 750 Mod 1.1 into the CJ2 as per the instructions, so far so good. It installed into the MFD as designed and everything seems to work. The problem is that now the PFD and the annunciator panel are blank. The autopilot and FMS and DCP also works fine. I have copied and pasted all of the files twice to the appropriate folders to make sure a file did not get missed. I have opened the folders and the PFD is in there and I can see it but it will not display it the aircraft. Obviously something got corrupted but I can't find it. Any help would be appreciated. Hi I have recently purchased the GTN750 from Flight1 and have it nicely integrated to the VC and a 2D popup (I have also added via the MOD in to the 525A CJ2) thanks to some very helpful MODs here at AVSIM. This may be a very simple question? When I create a flightplan within the unit the AP does not follow the FP even though I have selected GPS as source and engaged NAV? Maybe I have missed the point however, it may be trhat I need to manually use HDG when prompted via the FP vectors? Or should the AP follow the FP as it would do using an FMS? Was climbing out at not too steep an angle when for some reason the stick shaker kicked in. Airspeed was good and even after reaching altitude it kept shaking. Didn't know how to get it to stop. This is the first time I've flown it in P3D. Never had it happen in FSX. Any ideas? Thanks. Jim

Is there some way to sharpen the text? As it is, I must zoom about halfway from pilot seat to the panels in order to read them. Admittedly, my eyes aren't as sharp as in earlier times , but no other plane is this bad. The screen is a 35" Vizeo flat widescreen screen TV.. FSX.cfk has Max resolutions set to 4096x4096 Any help appreciated regards to all Neal Howard

Max cruise at FL290 with 9500lbs on board is around 415KTAS. I'm getting 100KTS less than that with a 5KT headwind at 100.1% power. Is it me, or does it seem Carenado under powered the engines on this thing?

What is the secret to getting the download from MediaFire for the CJ2 GTN + clickspots mod v1.1. I have tried too many times to count but each time I wind up with a small 1.5 to 1.8 kb download (vs:5.6 mb) that says zip folder is empty (using 7-Zip). I have signed up for an account, used download managers (flashget), no download manager, anti virus turned off and on, firewall turned off, using Google Chrome and tried MS Edge and each time what I get will not work. I'm not totally sure it's me but I guess it could be, I just click on the big green bar that says download. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks Wakashi (aka) Roger

Hi Folks, i bought last week the CJ2 für my P3D V3 and am very impressed about the functionality. it is not comparable to the defalut aircraft in P3D, partly I feel overwhelmed . Unfortunately, the included manual is not made for beginnings. I have to take some more exercise lessons. Now to my problem, how do i activate the wx radar? I press the nav/brg button till in pfd appears TERR/RDR WX T0.0 but nothing is shown at the pfd. Even if i adjust the Range Knob. Can somebody tell me what i am doing wrong? Don't know if any of you have noticed, but if you stop moving the mouse and wait for the pointer to disappear you instantly gain 5-7 fps in virtual cockpit view. I seem to recall that this has been an issue with other aircraft as well but I don't remember if other developers have been able to fix it. I am using FSX DX10 in full screen mode. Dave

The parking brake on this aircraft can be moved on and off, but the brake doesn't seem to hold at all. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks, JOHN

This is one of the easiest to hand fly FS airplanes I've encountered. However the ground handling is abysmal. Most noticeable being on landing rollout. I literally can't keep it on a 150 foot wide runway. Anyone else having this problem? Is there a parameter in the aircraft config file that can be edited to fix this? I tried reducing rudder sensitivity, since the rudder and nosewheel are interconnected, or should be anyway. This didn't do any good.

With the appalling lack of any flight tutorial, would somebody please give me a clue on the following; - When flying in Nav Source - FMS1, and approaching an airport with an ILS, what's the procedure in order to capture the ILS? I have entered the ILS frequency in NAV1 in the TUN page of the FMS but unsure how to enter (where-ever) the course while in FMS1. I've found pressing 'Approach' seems to bring it on the localiser, although that could just be the FMS1 doing that, but there is no indication of the glideslope. Any help would be appreciated. Hi all, I just installed the CJ2, and after loading my flight plan waypoints into the FMC, I went to choose the runway and the SID. No information was presented in the DEP/ARR page of the FMC. I use FSX and WIN7, and I have NAVDATA subscription. Thanks for the help. Faisal.

Hi Folks, VNAV isn't something I'm very familiar with - does it work on the 525A with the GTN ? For example - will it fly the required altitudes such as listed on the RNAV curved approaches into KPSP ? Same for SiD/STAR ? Thanks... Regards, Scott

Is there an operations manual? The only things I have found are Procedures, Settings, and the GPS PDF Document. Surely, somewhere on my PC there is a manual for this bird. Call me stupid if you wish but please help me out here. I'm old, frail, and getting crankier every day

So I have always flown in the daytime and decided to try a nighttime flight and discovered that the cockpit is way too dark. I can't see anything in the VC at all. Is there a way to fix this?
