Hi Everybody knows that the fms update is a piece of ###### from Carenado because: - VNAV is unusable (does not respect the ALT set, no TOD calculated, vspeed can be ######in crazy, more than 6000ftm, no vpath calculated...) - NAV is unusable (editing the STAR or APP inroute remove all your fight plan) - the AP is bugged (click on the vnav button disengages the AP, etc...) - FMS is stupid (no vnav page...) and displays wrong information (fuel, next flight plan waypoint is more updated in LNAV mode, etc...) - the MFD is no more readable (too much points displayed) Ok. The citation fly's at around 270 knots for me. This is a little slow.. The CJ4 is flying at around 500 knots. I wish it was faster or i could make it faster.

I would like one of the default version, one with Bert Pieke’s mods, and one having the ISG mod by JanekBin. I experimented by creating a duplicate folder and renaming it to indicate Bert’s GTN750 mod. About the longest flights I've done in the 550 are from KAUS to MZBZ or MHRO with an occasional KAUS to KPHX because the scenery I have for them makes the jumps worth it. What sort of distances are you guys flying your 550 at the moment?

Continuing from the other thread about TCAS, I found that indeed its the VATSIM / IVAO online traffic that is the only one not visible in the MFD TCAS modes. :( How can this happen when the traffic from these clients is just like all other AI traffic ? I see them same like the rest of my AI package inside FSX only diferrence being not seing them inside CARENADO TCAS. I checked, FSUIPC all it has is a drop down to define the TCAS ID string (tail number, flight etc.) It does not change anything. Any ideas ?

How do I configure the Citation to default to Cold and Dark at startup rather then selecting Cold and Dark from the menu AFTER the aircraft is selected. I don't won't to save the flight as a selection but just want it in this configuration for any scenario.

Can you adjust the navaids displayed to not show fixes? The fixes show up with a 20 mile range and make the map unreadable. Thanks. Bob

Can it be done ? I have Active Sky Next and was wondering if the weather radar can be used with the C550 ... Maybe someone has managed to install it in the VC or create an overlay on the existing display.... ....or maybe someone can task themselves with doing that ? I've been simming since Sub-logic days and have bought my share of stinkers, but this one tops the leader for the amount of money payed. The Navigraph Extension delivers nothing in terms of flight management with the incredible omission of even the ability to save a flight plan, or load one. This airplane sits in a class of $50 business jets along with the F1 Mustang and Eaglesoft Develpment Citation V2. The Carenado is not even in the same postal code if you value functionality of systems or candidly your money. Bob

I had so many issues with this aircraft soon after getting it. I wanted to love it (loved the visuals, sounds, and hand flying character from the outset) but problems caused me to uninstall it. I have been flying this plane fairly good with Reality RXP 530XP installed. When the new Navigraph FMS came out I downloaded to try it out. After installation, I am only getting around 5 or less FPS. Other planes as my PC-12 are getting 25 to 30 frames per second. This is a major problem. With the Navigraph Extension Pack it is not flyable. Please any suggestions to correct this. How do you shut down the engines ? When you power up the GPU does it "automatically" connect to or does it need any switch ?

Hello all: Well, I am going batty with this problem. Fuel feeds from only the port side tank on the Cessna! I've tried everything I can think of short of a reinstall. Looked all ove the aircraft.cfg file...nothing different there with respect to fuel from any other aircraft. I've reloaded the plane several times passing through a different simple aircraft like the ultralight. Looked at all the settings on the taskbar...none really have to do with draining tanks. I'm stumped. Any ideas? I'd be grateful. Thanks

I just purchased the S550 Citation II and I love the model. The only issue I had after downloading it is where the aircraft casts shadows on the ground. There are weird 3D brown spikes coming out of the aircraft and only on the outside view. The internal views looking out were okay. I had to correct this by turning off the "Aircraft casts shadows on the ground" feature. I looked for updates but could not find any for this issue. I do have my graphics set for 4096 textures and I am using acceleration. Any thoughts would be helpful Thanks again for another great model!!!

So on short final I arm the spoilers by hitting shift+/ and this groaning noise starts and continues until everything is shut down. Checking outside, the spoilers don't deploy at that point and deploy perfectly on touchdown. Any ideas on the groaning noise? Update: Should have searched on the forum first. Hi all: Just bought the S550 today and am conducting self orientation. I have read through a lot of the forum and found numerous good tips. However, one thing keeps shutting down my cockpit orientation. The battery runs down in no time at all, maybe 2-3 minutes, and everything goes dark. I have searched the docs as well as looked at every switch on the panel and I can't figure out what is the drain. The only way out is to start the engines but I don't want to do that until I have prepped the aircraft. What am I missing? Thanks
