S550 Citation II for FSX | P3D

Hi guys! I am setting the pressurization levels before departing my airport on the C550 and as soon as I cross 10k feet, I get a warning on the pressurization system. I am entering the correct altitude and everything but it doesn't seem to work. Any suggestion? Teo

To any of the mod squad or any other people who know what they're doing- Seeing as my previous idea to merge the CJ2's cockpit with this body was impossible- can someone explain how I could move the CJ2s FMS into the S550? Ideally into the VC but if not I'll settle for the pop up 2D gauge. Thank you!

Hi All, Having recently purchased the F1 GTN750, I'm now thinking of getting this airplane (with mods by The Mod Squad :wink:)..... Can anyone confirm that it works without issues in P3D v3.2 and FSX-SE? (My FSX-SE is standalone, so all refs are to FSX on my system). Thanks in advance, Jim

Hi, For some reason on my P3D setup everytime I save a flight with the S550 withe its engines and everything off when I load it back again the engines are running and I have to shut them down again. Any way to make sure P3D saves the flight with engines off? Very strange behavior and only happens with this aircraft. Thanks, Teo

In Berts GTN750 mod, in his directions it say "Moved AP mode selector to the panel"...I can't find this....I know I am going to be 60...but :wink: :wink: :wink:

Do the rest of you see TCAS Traffic in the MFD ? I have not managed yet even though I had some of AI in close proximity and had TCAS1 / TCAS2 modes enabled. Do I miss something ?

I have the fancy upgraded FMS but I have an issue. When I hit direct to a waypoint, the airplane doesn't go from my current position to the new waypoint, it searches for a path somewhere else (maybe from the original airport?). This issue makes the plane unusable. Does anybody have a fix for this?

I love this bird, although it has some shortcomings. I had been using it in FSX and recently I installed it in P3D V3.1 but I have a shaking & shaking noise problem I can't solve. In P3D V3.1 when I pass around 220knots an excessive shaking begins, so I have to throttle back. (In FSX I can accelerate up to beyond 240knots, till I hear the overspeed warning without shaking) I think this shaking over 220knots is not normal (or ist it?). Did any of you had this shaking behaviour? Do you have any suggestions, am I missing something? Thanks everybody, Sunay

G'evening, i now bought the S550 and want to start it up. Started in Cold and Dark, (even if i spawn with everything on) in the FMS i cant enter anything.. if I go to FPL, Page 2 and click top left LSK, i can enter SBFV (for example) but if i press ENTER it deletes. Even on Page 1 it happens.. can u help me? Thanks

Hi guys! Took the bird for a flight yesterday with the new installed Carenado Extension pack. For some reason, when I create a flight plan and start flying it, the HSI indicator works just fine, going from waypoint to waypoint and flying the route but on the FMS window, the waypoints are not removed after the aircraft passes over it. For example I fly towards the ORL VOR, after passing it, the FMS starts counting the distance backwards, 1nm, 2nm, 3nm and never gets removed after crossing it. Anyone having this same issue with the Navigraph extension pack? Regards, Teo

Here is a download link to everything you need for your panel folder with the mod. Please make a backup of the origional first just in case. Hello all, just a quick query, thought I'd post in here as it seemed like a handy place to start. Whilst I think the liveries are great for this aircraft, I wonder if anyone might be up to making a new one, as photoshop and me don't get along. Hi, A couple of questions for you experienced pilots: Just bought the Carenade S550 and the first thing I noticed was that the fuel was only taken from the left wing. Started to look for a fuel transfer on the panel and finally found one knob almost hidden in the left corner of the panel. Managed to figure out how to equalize the flow from both tanks. Later when landed safely I went to Carenado's site and was looking for a solution / fis for this problem but didn't find anything. Is anyone else having a problem with the FMS freezing on the "Loading Data Base" page with the navigraph data?

The Clickspot Areas to switch between Standby and Active NAV and COM Frequencies are nearly unable to hit, even in zoomed level. Maybe it is possible to enlarge them by changing the relevant XML-Gauge files. Any advice how to do that?

In the past I purchased add-on's from PMDG and A2A. Love 'em. Really wanting a business jet compatible with FSX:SE I recently bought the S550 Citation II from Carenado... Think I made a mistake... Some observations... - It doesn't seem much better then a default aircraft. It felt like I was on rails. Is this jet really that smooth and tame in the air? - It's a frame rate killer on the ground. I hope with some tweaking I can make it more usable. Have other people noticed this? - The cockpit textures look pretty good but why is the dash text so hard to make out on switches? It seems I have to zoom in on everything to read it. - On other add-on planes …
