B1900D HD Series FSX | P3D

Can anyone confirm that the anti-ice (de-ice) systems are no longer functional in the B1900D with P3DV2.1? My aircraft is constantly loosing speed can barely maintain 100-110 kts when I encounter ice conditions even with the anti-ice systems enabled. Cheers, Rob.

Hi chaps, New to Carenado aircraft and read several posts saying to hide the yoke is easy... i checked the manuals but couldn't see a click spot reference to remove the yoke... am i looking in the wrong place or is this one not removable? Many thanks for any assistance! Doug

I just did a test flight from KDEC-KFWA. Taking off to cruise was perfect. Only on landing I noticed some bugs. The weather turned from good to bad in FWA. I was on final approach into KFWA with less then two mile vis. When I landed I noticed that the Left Landing light was not illuminating on the ground and the bottom beacon was not displaying on the ground correct. I just saw a solid light on the ground where it should be flashing. Also when I was turning the lighting for the cabin and I clicked the reading switch, it seem to dim all the lights inside and outside too. Another bug I found was the VSI is displaying half. Greetings, I have a question regarding one of the switches on the HSI panel. On the right side of the HSI panel the switch marked "push crs direct" has three selections above the switch. The three positions are marked PRE, ACT and XFR. Through a little trial and error I believe they have something to do with the VOR but not sure exactly what their functions are. Also, am I correct in assuming that VOR 1 is always the one selected through the GPS? I really love this airplane. It is the only one I want to fly I just wish there was more of a manual especially regarding the avionics. Every time I fly it I stumble on something new. Wish there was more flying …

Is it me or are the Vref charts missing. Can't find them in any of the documents. All I have are the cruise charts. Does anyone have them? Thanks

Anyone else having problems coupling an ILS to the FD? As many bugs are in the APP and FDP the beta team should be very embarrassed. Or, maybe we are the beta team. :(

How do you get external power in this aircraft? I click on the "external power" switch in the cockpit, and check the meter above in ext pwr position, and nothing.

Hi Everyone, I did buy the plane and and of course after reading the manual i tried it and i did notice the following problems. The main problem is that once i have set up the flight plan and insert the altitude and after take off i click on nav and the plane follow the route and climb to the selected altitude but once it reach the selected altitude it doesnt leve off. Well it level off but in tehe wrog way first i selected 18000 feet it reached 18100 then started to descend to 17900 then up again to 18100 then down again to 17900 and so on for all the route. Hi to all you fellow flight sim addicts I have tried with no success to have the GPWS sound off when it is supposed to. All I get is a granite toothache, no warning at all! Is it something I am missing or does it not work? Thanks

When I activate the the Fire Warning Test Sw only the Fire Discharge panel (under the glass cover) lites up, the Master Warning does not lite and there is no alarm sound, also the FIRE Acutator handle does not lite up either. Also the Landing Gear light test does not work.

Hey everybody. I was thinking about getting the 1900 but I have a few questions regarding the GNS530. From the pictures, it looks like it has the exact same GPS' as the King Air. From my understanding, you are not able to build a flight plan from scratch using the default GPS in the 1900? So my question is, do I have to buy the GNS530 from RXP, for $50? Is the RXP GPS fully functional? Thanks!

Hi All Firstly I would like to say very well done to Carenado on the visuals for the B1900D, truly high quality. I have not had too much time available to fly this sim model since buying it a few days so I have probably missed several other snags or I may have jumped the gun a bit on one or two due to not using the FMC too much yet. Well here goes, I Flew the real girl for around 6 years or so from the left seat, and the right, not going to pull the log book out but it's well over a couple of thousand hours on her. Would be fun to see were everybody is going with their B1900. I took a shake down when I first got mine from KGTF to KGTF (Rocky Mountain flyer) for about an hour. Get to know the bird. So far I have logged a few flights: KGTF - KBIL (shot ILS Approachs) - KGTF KGTF - KSLC KSLC - KLAS Plan trips up west coast then home (KGTF Great Falls, MT). I am finding a lot of things to familiarize myself with. Good experience for a new aircraft.

Question whether there should be information on the main panel (red light) when the parking brake is ON? Such as when the door is opened? Sorry for the english but I'm writing by the translator.

Gents, Carenado indicated there was a cold& Dark option. The knowledge base suggests that this option is available after selecting the aircraft from the FSX menu (for all products SR22 and later). I do not seems to have this option. Has anybody else experienced this? JW

Hey guys, Potential buyer here but very worried about frame rates with this bird. I heard its quite poor from some other users - i.e. need to lower everything wayyyy down to fly in busy airports. :unsure: What is your experience? how do I get the TCAS to stop saying traffic all the time. I turn it on, nothing a aircraft comes close it goes off, all good, traffic moves away and it keeps going traffic traffic over and over. I turn it off and it keeps going, is this a bug or just me. is there a switch I missed thanks Greg

What are the three Course KNOB settings, PRE, ACT, XFR, what are they used for, also what does the CRS knob PUSH CRS DIRECT do? Is there any source for a more detailed explanation of the EFIS sys and how to use it other then the little info in the airplane manual? Any source to help in explaining the EFIS sys would be greatly appreciated. thanks ress

Can anyone advise what the FURN switch is for. Can't find it in the only two manuals I can find for the aircraft. Wish Carenado would publish a more comprehensive manual for FSX. Do not want to spend 50-70 dollars for the actual manual. Thanks.
