B1900D HD Series FSX | P3D

  1. Started by Airbrnetravel,

Hello, I know the 'ground power' switch doesn't actually do anything; BUT is there a way we can simulate ground power with the aircraft.cfg? Or is there really no point? I haven't had an issue with the batt running out for pre-flight or anything but just for realism. Thanks! ps I was searching for ages about the cabin sign lights and switch... if you are wondering there is a FSB switch on the overheard panel which I'm assuming stands for Fasten Seat Belt and has the bong and everything. I haven't looked to see if it lights anything up in the cabin or not.

  2. Hello all and Happy New Year!!!!!!!!! I recently purchased the Careando B1900D but cannot seem to find when I am approaching TOD. Anyone can help?

  4. Started by Radial9,

After nearly 1400 DC3 hours and many more in other piston aircraft I decided to venture into commercial aviation, VATSIM and a heavy metal virtual airline. The VA chosen allows me to get my obligatory minimum flights in using my DC3 as well as other vintage aircraft, such as the PMDG DC6. Great way to become familiar with VATSIM again and enter the VA heavy aircraft world slowly. My choices as a P3Dv4 user were limited. I chose the Carenado 1900D to begin this transition. I have read every post here and watched about every video I can find, in addition to reading what passes for manuals many many times. I’m getting somewhat comfortable flying the 1900D manually,…

Hi Guys Let's face it the FMS isn't really very good, the main problem I have with it is its taking over altitude control and climbing or descending the aircraft without me confirming it. I think this must be very unrealistic. Stil,l no problem, I use avlairsoft EFB and that loads a flight plan into the GPS, using the current AIRAC too. So I've now got control over the altitude and can use flight plans with current waypoints, SIDS and STARS. So when flying with VATSIM I can follow their instructions regarding altitude. Then I tried simulating a "proceed to waypoint xyz and resume own navigation" but I couldn't make the gps do a go-to no matter what buttons I click…

  9. I just installed the new version of the B1900D into P3d v4 then I installed the 750 into it as a popup my 750 config has cpu to auto, I also tried it ALL so what happens is this: the plane is fine, flies great. However, the 750 is slow...not slow but you have to click on the buttons about 5 to 10 times before it "takes" the command. It works perfectly fine in my other Carenado planes, 206, 210, 207, 404 ac500, etc. but why this? anyone have any ideas? Bert can you shed some wisdom? I would really like to use this combination... but no go at the moment.

Hi, I have a clean install of Win 10, clean again of P3D4, and little else on the computer. P3D4 has been performing well for me with no problems until I used the new installer plus activation code to install the Carenado B1900D (a favourite aircraft in P3D3). Installed without a hitch, the aircraft flew perfectly but from that moment on I had no sound in the sim. I uninstalled the B1900D, restarted the computer, and all sound is now restored. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Jim

I know this is a P3D forum for this aircraft but there's no matching forum for XP. Is anyone else suffering from spastic ground steering in the B1900 in XP-11? I have the rudder axis dialed all the way to zero, but it's still incredibly sensitive on the ground. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Folks. I am flying the Carenado B1900D with P3Dv3 with WIN7 and I have just installed the BE1000x_SP1.exe patch, hoping that this would cure the porpoising I get when using the FMC. Does anybody please, know a cure for this porpoising effect when the FMC is ON. I don't want to fly with the FMC switched off, else what's the point of flying the B1900D' Hope someone has some answers. Thanks John

I've had the B1900 since it was released, and for the most part I have been pleased with it. However, I noticed something incredibly annoying after installing it in FSX:SE. After takeoff, the autopilot works just fine until I climb above about 10,000 feet (just an approximation). From there, whenever I try to climb, the aircraft pitches upward violently and inevitably stalls. Also, it seems that for some reason if the trim is all the way down the aircraft is incredibly unstable in the pitch axis, and wants to rocket upwards if I take my hands off the controls. The CG from the FSX weight and balance page looks just fine. I am following the same procedures that I always did…

  18. Greetings, I recently installed the Carenado B1900 and have several hours simming it and I am a little frustrated. Let me start by saying that I have a high end computer designed specifically for FSX. I have never had any issues with the computer or any other add on aircraft that include many Carenado products which are my favorites. I really like the 1900 but it is the first aircraft I have installed that had "issues" right out of the box. Of a couple of issues with the 1900 two are driving me crazy and do not appear on any other aircraft. Right ow the 1900 AP will not accurately track a ILS laterally nor does it capture the glide slope. In addition, I can …

I decided to whip the 1900D out for another flight after watching a few videos on setting it up properly (my last few flights made me put it down for awhile). I finally made it to 21k feet on a smooth flight today when the plane started pitching up and down once it got to altitude and never settled down. Aside from the CABIN DIFF HI warning light, and now this, the B1900D is going back into the hangar as an unflyable model. Sigh.

Hello I regularly fly the B1900D in FSX and am about to embark on making a tour of the Uk video series on Youtube, I know how to set the autopilot using the knob to set the altitude in the cockpit but this seems to overide any alitiude setting I have in the FMC. Can anyone tell me what button I should be pressing so the autopilot goes to the FMC altitude? Have a cheeky 2nd question too, Is it easy to install the B1900D into P3D V3.3? i am hoping that one day Carenado makes an offical installer but have been waiting for this to happen and I really want to try it out. Trouble is I don't want to harm my FSX install kind regards Daz

I'm looking for a mod for the gtn750. I guess I can always install it using the config. tool and using the pop up, but it would be nice to have it fully integrated in the vc.

  25. Does anybody here own the Carenado B1900d? If so, does that person know how to change the squawk code, or if it is even possible? Because there is a 3D knob on what looks very much like a transponder in the cockpit above the annunciator panel, but I can't get the code that's displayed to change. I can't push the ident button either, it just turns on and off. I also don't seem to be able to change the speed bugs. Thank you!
