B1900D HD Series FSX | P3D

My biggest complaint with 1900 would be the vague and misaligned adjustment points for the nav and ap. Incredibly annoying and it would appear slap dash. Surely, if you make an aircraft that is this popular and to a high level of detail (as this definitely is), you wouldn't at least make changing frequecies etc to be at least as easy as a vanilla a/c that comes as standard?? Unfortunately this has ruined my favourite aircraft. PMDG 1900 worked much better, alas not so easy to port over as half the gauges need changing and the vc quality looks crap on Fsx. Can the gauges be fixed??

Hi, I just bought this for p3dv2 and noticed that my go flight radio panels won't work with the plane's com/nav radios. I have the mcp module and it works with the autopilot. Just wondering if any knows of a way to get these to work. Thanks Bill

I just purchased the 1900D a couple of days ago and I have a question. Why does the GNS530 have to be turned on in order to navigate? What if the GPS is MEL'd Inop? Does that mean that you cannot fly VFR/IFR with this model? When I tune the Collins NAV to a VOR station nothing happens, ie, no DME readout. I flew the 1900C in the RW with over 2000 hrs in type. We had to hand fly the aircraft from takeoff to touchdown. We didn't have a GPS or AP back in those days. This 1900D is a great looking aircraft.

Hello, This is driving me insane. For some reason I can't get the Window which has a zoom in of the autopilot controls to open up. The manual says it's Shift+4 and there are also also some click points that can be used to open it but none work for me. I re-installed 4 times and each time when I Shift+4 I get what a appears to be a popup window which lasts less than a second and goes away. Does anyone have any ideas what may e causing this? I'm flying the B1900D with Sp1 and the mods from Bert for after sp1 Also, Avidyne off and installed RXP 530 So I was shooting the 19L ILS (110.1/191) at KIAD and the it wouldn't keep up with the G/S and was off center as well. Just a real hot mess. Ended up taking me in real high. anyone else?

Just got this plane and the switches works in VC but doesn't with physical switches like saitek. they also don't work with any other addon I have for exemple Project magenta, SimToichPlus2 amd Panelbuilder. Just like the Carenado P34 Seneca V missing propellers now this issues with this plane. Does anybody knows how to fix it or Am I going to park another their plane? Thanks

I have been trying to figure out this plane all day. Have been reading many of the posts here and trying to fly the plane too. I don't think I have ever seen so many questions posted about one relatively small aircraft in all my years using FS. I bought it yesterday and installed it into my P3D program. First of all, is there a service patch available somewhere? I see many mentions of it in previous posts, but I do not see any mention of it at the Carenado site. Next, has anyone made good user guide for the panel? Thanks. Howard

While setting the HSI to map mode I can't see waypoints name and very faded lines... anyone know how to fix the issue ?

Hi, I can see the taxi and landing lights on the ground from outside view and in virtual cockpit. But in the 2d cocpit (I use a hardware cockpit and don't need the virtual one), they do not work. So, I use P3D v2.4, and this is a problem in many aircrafts. Any idea ? Simu67

The B1900D is a new aircraft to me and I'm having more then useal problems figuring out where to find everything and how ot use it. Or better said, I'm seriously questioning if the normal procedure checklist that came with the aircraft is indeed the checklist for the B1900D... There are so many items on the checklist I cant find in the aircraft, or maybe items are named differently on the checklist than in the aircraft, I dont know... Is there a proper checklist I can download somewhere against which I can check this checklist?

Hi, I was wondering if there is any option to solve my problems: 1) Is it possible to input airways into the FMS - not just point to point? I saw this picture on Justflight website - notice the right part with "Airway" button - but I can't get to this page in the FMS. 2) Is it possible to turn off preselected altitudes at waypoints and control altitude just with autopilot? 3) I couldn't find the turn coordinator on this airplane. I assume this aircraft is just too fast and needs bank 20* for procedural turns. However, does it mean that I can use autopilot HDG mode for holdings, turns, etc. ? Thanks

Every time I use FMS to fly Direct to (DTO) a/c fly to establish the route course and not direct from presnt positon... The only way I manged to do so is via GPS, Direct to but then it delete the rest of the flightplan...

Why is the co-pilot clock marked 24hrs? It shows same time as digital clock.

I had been flying last couple of flights in DX10 mode, but decided to switch back to DX9 as I didn't like the loss of papi and runway lights at some airports. I deleted my FSX.cfg and rebuilt it, then applied a few basic tweaks like HIGHMEMFIX & Affinity mask etc. However, when loading the Carenado 1900D (cold & dark) the fps drop to between 1-5 (yes just 1-5!) which makes the aircraft unusable. To check if there were other settings causing problems, I loaded the default 737-800 and the fps was back up to 35-45! Has anyone experienced such a fps drop with this aircraft and is there anything that can be changed (textures etc) to help improve fps with this craft…

Hi, So after reading through many threads here and troubleshooting a couple things, I'm really enjoying this aircraft. However, I just recently noticed that the dynamic head movement (head shake) isn't working in ez dok when I fly this plane and this plane only (all stock planes work). I remember it working when I first started using the plane. The only changes I've made to fsx are some graphics settings from the in game options. I've checked the studio settings to make sure all effects buttons are on with the cameras where I want the effects, it's the same setup I made when I first downloaded the plane a week ago. Hi all, I'm looking to rectify the [FUEL] section of the AIRCRAFT.CFG. I did a little editing of the [WEIGHT & BALANCE] so that the aircraft would be populated by default with pax & baggage. That was ok. I then decided to set values in the [FUEL] section. I forgot that what I was setting was MAX tank values and consequently that's as far as I can fill the tanks now. Of course I also forgot to take note of the original values and now don't know what to put back in! DRAT! Would somebody please post their original [FUEL] section for comparison. I am doing a spreadsheet for trip fuel and gross weights. I am using numbers from the SimPilots manual and other internet sources. Beech 1900D end-users, Is anyone else having problems with the altitude pre-select window (main panel, to the left of the transponder) locking up and not "scrolling" when enabling an altitude mode (hold or alt select) when the autopilot is on? It functions appropriately if the autopilot is off, or when the autopilot is not in any vertical speed mode, but refuses to budge when any altitude-based mode is engaged. There is a bug with the altimeter setting. Exemple if the altimeter is 2961 and you want to change it for 2960, the two last digits change. It gives 2950. It should change if you're at 2960 and you want 2959 or lower. Thanks and regards
