The Official DX10 Scenery Fixer Support Forum

DX10 Scenery Fixer Forum for official support for this product.

  1. Started by harryw,

I'm afraid my post in this http://forum.avsim.net/topic/421616-dx10-fixer-and-aircrafts-external-lights-issue/ thread is going unnoticed, as it's been marked as answered - so I'm reposting in a new thread: I have the exact same issue but unfortunately Riccardo's fix didn't solve it for me. I did have the external lights working for a while (not due to anything I did intentionally though) but now they're gone again. Since I've seen them work it must be a configuration issue. I can't think of anything better right now than posting the contents of my DX10.ini (from AppData/Local/DX10SceneryFixer) in the hope that something obvious is amiss: [DX10SceneryFixer] Rebuil…

  2. Hello, I have bought the fixer at FSS', deleted my config file and followed the manual as per installing instructions. Everything went fine (as it can be seen in this video, but for AA, shimmering and stuttering: ). After reading many more posts, I twicked my NI settings to improve AA quality and to reduce shimmerings. Through 2x or 4x or 8x Sparse Grid Supersampling shimmering goes away, great textures and very good frames. It won't last long, after a few minutes, maybe less, I get a pause, screen goes black, than it comes back, sadly all the textures but the sky are black. ???? Cheers Fabio I don't know if reverting back to simple AA I will get this i…

Bonjour! Now that I have bought the DX10Fixer by Steve, what should my Nvidia Inspector Settings be set to? Thanks for the help!

  4. I have successfully puchased and downloaded the 'Fixer' from FlightSim Store. Unfortunately, I'm unable to install the software due to what is likely a wrapper issue. I have tried both the automatic online, and manual validation methods, but both are resulting in errors preventing installation. I've made inquiry with SimStore support, but other than their initial reply of a copied FAQ topic, I have not heard anything further. Their canned generic suggestion (of disabling firewall and ant-virus) did not result in success. I'm using Windows 7 and even tried installing as administrator. The communicated results of ongoing failure remain unacknowledged by SimStore at this ti…

Hi. I`m quite interested in the payware DX10 fix that has been released, but I already have Addon ConverterX installed. Do I need this fixer?

Just wondering about this Fixer and if everything(addon aircraft, weather & scenery) work properly in FSX after it switches to DX10. Isn't DX11 available now so what about it? thanks Paul

  7. Started by flyforever,

I've been operating with Steve's freeware fixes. Now that I have purchased the fixer, what do I do with the old file? Do I uninstall it, or can the fixer overwrite old files? thanks tony
