Greetings Commanders, I need help... I have both V2.5 and v3.3 installed on my system. Vatsim - Brazil has a virtual training facility in SBYS where the instructor acts also as APP Controller. Having different PTTs keys assigned for vPilot and Teamspeak enable to speak to each channel. Formal ATC com is done through vPilot (Vatsim) and advice and instruction dialogues occur in a Teamspeak 3 room. This works great in P3d V2.5. However, when I'm flying P3D V3.3, TS3 does not capture the PTT key press, whenever P3D is windowed or full screen. I have to change focus to TS3 by clicking on the program's window in order to it capture the PTT key, talk and liste…

Has anyone tried the Nikola Tesla International Airport (LYBE) scenery in P3D v3.3? The forum on the developer's website doesn't provide much information nor reviews. Any input, regarding scenery functionality, compatibility with P3D V3 and ORBX add-ons, and their effects on performance are greatly appreciated. Thank you

Perhaps I can get some advice. V3 is taking upwards of 4 minutes to load. That was never the case in the past. The changes I made recently are:installed latest nvidia driver 359.06, Orbx Friday Harbor and Squamish, latest orbx libraries, updated propellor textures for some FS9 AI aircraft using the Owl's Nest tool and substituted a scenery bgl in FlyTampa CYYZ to stop flickering issue. I got the 'Cannot create child window' message for awhile. I believe that was after upgrading the prop textures. By no means am I dissing the Owl's Nest tool. I don't want to detract from the main story, but it may be applicable. This went away. This what I did: -reinstall…

I've gotten to a point where I'm really pleased with how my game looks, except one thing; the shoreline wave animations. They are big, there's waaaaay too many of them and they are absolutely everywhere. Even harbours are completely filled with them. They are repeating so fast and are even overlapping, the effect looks extremely bad. These are the waves I'm talking about, you see them along the shore and in the small harbour area; I found a post, over on sim-outhouse that mentioned you can comment out (//) Effect=wavecontroller and Effect=lakewavecontroller in the terrain.cfg (I assume it's the one in C:/ProgramData/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3D v3?) and I did. So this topic has two questions: (Windows 10, P3d V3.3.3) (1) Anyone knows why am I getting this error when I make a change on the editor, then try to save and exist? "Uncaught Exception! This shouldn't happen! (SCE Version: 1.7.7 Please copy the contents of this box to a support request java.lng.RuntimeException:java.ioFileNot Found Exception: C\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3DV3\scenery.cfg.sce (Access Denied)" (2) What is the correct scenery path that Scenery Editor should be pointing to? Meanwhile qu'ORBX solves the problems faced by several users, what would happen if I restore my computer to a previous date on the update of FTX Central? I have installed the freeware FTXGlobal_NA_Airports.zip. It is a large file. It says I need the libraries FTXORBXLIBS_160528.zip which is 1,3 Gb. Both installers only allow them to be installed in the Main FSX ORBX folder. Is it possible after I install them there that I can move the entire ORBX folder to another drive where I have more space. I can then edit the Scenery Library to point to the new folder. Thanks, Bob.

Since yesterday I have in FTX Central no longer an apply option to switch to the several regions and hybride mode. It remains on Global and no apply-button is available. Did I misses something? Hi, could someone advise me on may be happening here, all was fine yesterday with my p3dv3.3 and today everytime I switch from full screen to windowed mode using alt+enter the screen freezes, the sound is still there just no screen movement, the only thing that changed from yesterday was a new PFPX subscription update today, any ideas? Hi guys, I just updated my P3d to v3.3 and I run a triple monitor setup, but I can't for the life of me figure out where to access the changes to the muti-monitor support? I checked the settings screens within P3D and it all looks the same to me. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks! Paul

Hi, I updated to the latest version of P3D v3. As always when I update an OrbX product or Prepar3D itself, I did a Windiff to make sure I understand which files are changed. One thing I noticed is that some building texture files got modified: http://i.imgur.com/XL7fI7a.jpg Now I don't know whether the texture files from the previous version were unmodified or if they were installed by OrbX (since they update some global scenery-related files). Or did LM themselves actually modify these building texture files

Hello, This is my first post here on the forum after years being signed in... But I have a strange problem with my ground textures after installing openLC Europe... Building/roads/forrest textures are being cut-off by other textures. (noticable in the middle of the screenshot) When I disable the OpenLC layers in my scenery-file, it looks better, but the openlc functionality is gone. But no cut-off ground textures... Just wondering, are many people running paid for scenery in v3.2 or the new 3.3.5 that is officially stated by the developers as compatible with either v1 or v2? I have several such sceneries and would like to add them if this is ok. Seems such as waste otherwise. I am quite familiar with the folder structures, just don't want to risk messing up my sim by experimenting.

I'm torn. Since installing UT2 into P3d 3.2 I can no longer use it in FSX, when FSX runs I get a UT3 Runtime error :(. So I was thinking of uninstalling FSX. However, I'll miss quite a few add-ons like FlyTampa Boston, a new one will supposedly be out next YEAR, I can't have Tongass X, can't have Approaching Innsbruck, or Nice France LFMN, can't have my Carenado Piper Sport Cruz, L42 by Marble Canyon, Legacy FlightBean KSFO and I'm NOT going to buy the new one, it's an OOM nightmare, can't have Taxi 2 Gate's St. Lucia which I really like, or the Carenado 337. Hello, I hope I do not start an old subject. Did a search but did not get far with it. I use win10 64b and p3d v3.2 on my new pc system with a samsung 950 pro NVME ssd. I expacted that p3d would start up fast but can not find any diverance with my former normal type ssd. I come from win7 and noticed that in win10 you can find a live feed of the through put of any drive. It stays low. But when I copy a lot of random data between my ssd's it uses it maximum speed. So the hardware is working. Is there anyway I can let p3d use my ssd better? Thanks, Maikel Rozemeijer The Netherlands.

I took a year off from p3d and wanted to get back into things today. I did a clean install of windows 7 64 bit on my computer. My plan is to do the following installions: P3D Orbx Base Orbx Vectors PMDG 737 FSUIPC (Is this still needed?) Rex Essentials plus overdrive Active Sky Next (is this still better than Rex with weather updates?) GSX I heard MT6 is very good, but is that the best ai traffic software out currently? Also what is a good ATC software as the last one i had was Pro ATC/X? Anything else that i should look at installing?

Hello, I recently purchased mytraffic 6, i am currently using P3D v3.2. On vpilot i try to download the rule set for it and all i get are errors saying how it could not create the model. Also, in the mytraffic communicator, how do you install the trafficdatabasebuilder ? -Dillon L

Hi I have found Perth Vor PTH 110.400 (Scotland) doesn't work. When I tube the radio into the vor, nothing. Only vor I have found ed o far. Anyone else found this vor not working as well? Mark

Ok, this problem is haunting me forever and I was wondering if anything new has been released for it. A long time ago there was a program called active camera and I can't even remember what sim it was for, I think fs2004. Anyway now having p3d v2 I really miss the ease of that program and all it could do. I could "drive" the camera to any spot at the airport and watch planes land all day. There was no "configuring" need to get the camera to work. I don't remember any global or aircraft config settings because I am not sure if fs2004 had those. Carenado did a spectacular job on this bird - at first glance all I did was engage AP put in altitude - raise VS and it went right to desired altitude spot on also descending spot on - didn't use FLC - didn't have to really just up the VS and it goes to the correct altitude - very happy with this purchase - interior is gorgeous also Have no doubt it wont follow the FMS - you might want to think about getting this one - feels like a larger King also - super job Carenado - didnt think twice and glad I didnt :wink: Oh best looking Carenado to date - its stunning inside and out - quick pic does not do it justice - you have to see it for yourself
