Hello I want to check if other people has encountered the following problem. I have started suffering it since last week after many months without issue. I have my suspicions on two programs wich are the only thing i have installed lately: EZDOK3 and the last Activesky Prepar3d patch. The problem is this: i get overspeed warnings even when my flight speed is way below the red tape. The first time i suffered it when descending at 240 knots at FL100, and it was the end of my flight (stress damage). I have disabled stress damage but overspeed messages keep appearing. I have tried disabling EZCA effects to no avail (but i could be doing something wrong, i'm not use…

Does anyone have any success in getting night lighting to look better, particularly at high altitude? On a clear night at cruise, I just see black in front of me. I'd think i'd be able to see some sort of lighting. Thanks! I tend to notice at low altitude, the lights pop up close to around my aircraft, and in the distant they are very dim. Once they pop up, they shimmer and glitter and don’t seem very realistic. Any tips? My specs are below and my settings are slightly left of what is on Livecockpits site. I downloaded latest qw 787 Linda module but I only can use my L EFIS/DSP control panel hardware with it. I notice that since you published the module, QW launched a list of LVARs for many ( not sure if all) events for the 787, including the R EFIS/DSP LVARS. I wonder if those latest LVARS could be used for adding the new functions to the R EFIS. Right only manage to use ( with some issues, but working) my L 787 EFIS hardware, using linda thanks in advance Mark Dichtl

Hi anyone that can advise me, Does anyone have bridges in and around Fremantle and Perth? I'm sure I had the two bridges out of Fremantle in Orbx AusV1 with BlackMarble, the Railway bridge and Stirling Bridge. I've since upgraded to Ausv2, refreshed BlackMarble, but very limited bridges? I'm also sure I had bridges heading into Perth, but they have disappeared or my New added YPPH Photoreal scenery by MFSG has covered them. Could someone with Ausv2 have a fly over the Swan River entrance and see if they have any bridges, sorry to clog up the system with such a minor detail? Kind Regards Brian Baxter

Hi In the past with the former versions there were useful tips here and on YT for tweaking the "prepar3D.cfg" file. For example: [DISPLAY] TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=160 [SCENERY] MaxRegionsPurgePerFrame=1 [TERRAIN] UseGlobalTerrainView=True TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=9 etc... Are there any new findings as to whether such tweaks also make sense in version 4.5? Or keep it like it is? Beside everybody seems to wait for the hot fix from LM. 🙂 Greetings Enrico

Someone helped me find the P3D single pass stereo setting, definitely an improvement for VR and my HP Reverb however now I also have this problem when I go to select spot view for example or sometimes simply select the FSUIPC (only while in single pass stereo) menu: "This device(NVIDIA GeForce RTX2080 Ti) stopped working for the following reason" DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED. Hi fellow flight friends, Jumped the VR wagon almost 3 years ago and spend a lot of money on a Oculus rift, extra memory and an overclocked gtx970 back then. I have been having a lot of fun with several flight Sims but kept coming back to p3dv4 because of the performance and colours. I mostly fly in mono VR because I find that a good experience and I can read the gauges much better that way. My system is minimal for VR flying but it was ok as long as it lasts. Hi all- I just installed ORBX Central a few days ago. I'm also using Lorbi's addon manager. I installed a few ORBX airports ( I have several 3rd party as well along with Megascenery) and now looking at Lorbi's addon manager, I do believe I have a mess on my hands. Megacenery is weaved into every other ORBX airport. Checked/unchecked advanced layering, same thing. So, given this interesting situation, is the old ORBX Central still available and if not, what are the scenery layer priorities (which include Megascenery) given I'm probably going to have to manually adjust this after each install. Hello, my fellow flight simmers. I have a question for you guys? Does anyone know if there is any decent Airbus A220 (100 or 300) being developed for P3Dv4. I am aware of Virtualcol's A220... But lets be honest... Its not going to be any good. (No disrespect) Im looking for something like the Aerosoft family (not to study level like an FSLabs but just a realistic A to B aircraft). I know its a new airframe but surely someone is developing it... PMDG are doing the B-MAX which is around the same age. Let me know... Great thanks!

I have very low FPS at big airports. My question is: is there a tweak or a line in prepar3d.cfg so that the scenery would appear later, when you approach closer. I am landing in singapore and I can see the gates and the scenery fully drawn from the harbour far away. Therefore low FPS. My settings of LOD and draw as set to minimum thanx

So, I downloaded the SDK for P3DV4.5+, I scanned the learning center....I used the search features. And I could find nothing about this topic. After an hour of wasted time I think my best bet would be to talk to the experts here. I am using SimAddons scenery, I just installed all three national packages. I ran the scenery management tool and its says. "Check Prepar3D.cfg Missing IMAGE_PIXELS_FOR_AUTOGEN_POLYGONS=128 in Prepar3D.cfg You should add this entry under TERRAIN to NOT have trees on the runways. Missing SmallPartRejectRadius=4 in Prepar3D.cfg You should add this entry under SCENERY to have more FPS." So I am trying to find out …

Hi Guys... Has any one been able to download the original ISG1 Gauge set using P3Dv4,5. Sim Market is the sole source for the piece. They offer ISG1 for fs9; ISG1 for fsx; !SG 186 and ISG 186 x64. I thought the right one to go with would be ISG 186 x64. All it gave me after extraction was "isg.gau" plus there are no "Read me" files..nor ANY documentation. The fsx one gave me an installer,but it would not accept the serial number on my receipt. I've posted several messages on the ISG1 Support Forum....but haven't heard from anybody since 9/26. Hi Everyone was just wondering what aircraft in P3DV4 are capable of flying a RNP 0.3 approach in the sim? i am aware that the Majestic Dash 8 can but with the limitation that the approach gets broken if there is a waypoint between the FAF and RWY. i Don’t think the PMDG B737 or B777 are capable at this time, however curious if there were any others that are RNP capable at this time. Any info would be appreciated.

Hi, I have a strange groundpoly problem in MK Studios EKVG Vagar. I can't find a support forum of them and they tend to answer quite slowly so maybe someone here had the same problem: At certain angles the groundpoly completely disappears: At other angles it is completely fine: Anyone with an idea? While we are at it: Short time after the release there were some optional landclass files for the rest of the island. But they are not anymore in my simmarket account. Anyone know what happened to them?

Is there a free GPS that can be used with the Lockheed Electra. This is a pretty cool airplane and I have taken a liking to it. But, without a map or GPS it is not easy to find airports and specific runways especially in bad weather. I know I can use the map under the Navigation tab but not while flying. Also I realize that having a GPS on an aircraft like the Electra is not realistic but I want one anyway. Is there a generic GPS I can use as an addon?

Good day, I downloaded the latest Hotfix and proceeded to uninstall Client /Content /Scenery. It installed fine but I found all my add on scenery and aircraft missing. I then noticed that within the C:/LM folder wher I installed it was a folder "Prepar3D V4" and all the files for P3D are there as well? Any idea how this occurred and will I be able to move those files back to the respective folders and then delete the duplicate?
