PMDG MD-11 (Legacy Version)

Hello guys, I ask the experts .... my request is not aircraft specific, even if this case relates to MD11; I'm trying to assing to a joystick button a spoiler detent to increase/decrease speedbtrakes without success. I can only assign "Spoiler ON / OFF" but not incremental notches like for flaps to understand; I see in FSUIPC "Button and Keypresses/FS Control" there is the Spoiler Incr and Decr command but it seems to have no effect, at least on PMDG MD11. Does anyone know where I am wrong or suggest me the correct configuration in FSUIPC? Thanks in advance, Riccardo

Started PMDG MD-11 fs9 Tutorial 1 last revision: Jan 5, 2009. After I press F-PLN key from FMC and hit LSK 1L (EGLL) it goes to Lateral Revision (LAT REV) page then I press SID. I can select the runway 27L but can't find the waypoint DVR4G departure route to select it. How to continue with the tutorial if I am stuck due to that missing waypoint? I tried with scenery EGLL scenery default and with Aerosoft London-Heathrow Xtended. Selected a different waypoint and after completed the preparation I got lost in the space .....

Hi, I recently noticed that my PMDG MD-11 always follows a path about 5 or 6 miles to the left of the intended flightpath as viewed on the navigation display. When in flight this isn't a big problem, but when flying an ILS, I can see the runway way off to trhe right, and each time have to take manual control for landing. Does anyone know the cause of this, and is there a solution. Ron

Dear friends! Please, help. May be somebody already had this problem! At my YEARS of using PMDG MD-11 this is a first time and I'm frustrating... All digits on FCP are BIGGER than must be! Therefor last digit in Heading and Altitude input windows a are unvisible! Yestoday I reinstalled my Win 10 x64 Pro and installed a newest NVidia drivers for my GTX 760. All fonts (and from PMDG to) are installed in system. But Few days ago i was flying MD-11 as well without this problem. 2D panels are the same in both variants (wide and normal).

Hi all, Normally I could download the liveries from the PMDG site. It's not possible anymore. Also the PMDG Operations Center doesn't show the MD-11. Where do I get my repaints from? Thanks in advance! Cheers, Ronald

Hi guys, today I would like to install my PMDG MD-11 (boxed version), but I got the fail "FS9.1. missing, please install FS9.1. Update" (not word-to-word). But I am also not able to install the FS 9.1 update, because of "fail34", so what to do right now? I still tried the idea under regedit, but I don´t have the path called Microsoft/Microsoft Games/FS9. I am just wondering because on friday I just had a nice flight with the MD-11, but today I got a fail and want to re-install it. Now I got all these fails... Anybody has an idea? HI all, I could need some advice on an issue just before touch down. With just 30 ft or less remaining to touch down the plane floats very long or even gains altitude! The speed indication increases and the plane touches down halfway on the runway... The approach speed is correct as well as the configuration. Green box. PS. Hi all. Today after a week of flying the new 747v3 I decided to load up my trusty MD11 and take that for a spin. However after loading up the aircraft I find that all the six main screens are black with green X's across them. Now I had just flown the 747, so wondered if the sim hadn't quite shut down properly before reloading the MD-11. However no I tried three times and each time just green X's. I did some searching on Google and the best answer I can find is that it is some kind of anti piracy device within the MD-11 addon. If this is the case I have no idea why it should have suddenly just been triggered, my version of the MD-11 has been on my sim for the …

Hi I am trying to do the md11 tutorial flight. It says to use EGLL gate 212 but i don't have gate 212 and was wondering which EGLL scenery has this gate. Thanks in advance. Pete

Beginning just last week the MD-11 causes FSX to ctd immediately whether I load FSX with the default ultralight or load the MD-11 from FSX from the welcome screen. 2 or 3 weeks ago the MD-11 worked just fine. I am posting here because PMDG tech support no longer officially supports the MD-11 if my memory serves me right. I have not added anything to FSX. Anyone else have this issue? brandon garcia

Hi guys, as title says. Which is your technique? I have no problem when try to land manually after passed 1000' AGL, disconnect A/P and A/T and land safely enough. But if I want to practice manually all the approach from IAF to FAF I have a lot of difficulties to keep the aircraft on correct glide path. I try to maintain the G/S adjusting the throttle and pitch manually, but most of the times I am to high on final and with an incorrect pitch configuration. The aircrat upon on final regains altitude and I have to make a go-around. How do you perform your manual landing with this great aircraft? Thanks in advance, Ric

This may have been asked before but I want to add a second monitor to my computer to use for the upper panel of my MD11. How do I go about getting it setup and everything?
