Hi everyone, I would like to get the beta 10.30+ version of X-Plane installed. Can you tell me if I'm on track with the following method below? This is to preserve my existing version 10.25.. Forgive me if this has been asked. I don't get to use my sim as much lately and may have missed this. I'm trying to figure out if I need just one file or both photo scenery files for the Innsbruck area. On simheaven's site there are 2 files: z+47+011_AUT_Innsbruck_bc17 (1.7GB) +47+011 (AUT) Innsbruck ZL17 (5.2GB) There seem to be duplicates for other areas like Netherlands as well. I'm confused by this, so could someone help me out. Thanks.

Not sure but I just did a test in Honolulu, Hawaii at PHNL and noticed when I deactivated the osm north america from simheaven and use the default, that the buildings look a lot better (especially downtown Honolulu). I haven't tested anywhere else but can see a difference already. Has OSM data improved in the latest beta builds of X-Plane? If so, I guess I'll stick to the default? Anyone else notice this?

The 2 arrows that are pointing to the 2 large areas of water are suppose to be a large park filled with trees. I'm assuming that the OSM data for this area has been improperly tagged. I would like to fix this ASAP, so whats the best way I can go about doing this? Should i go the the openstreetmap sight and make the correction there so that all future OSM data will show up correctly in the sim? But if I do it that way, I won't be able to see the changes immediately and would have to wait for simheaven or X-Plane developers to add it, am I correct? Should be this.

OK, this has probably been worked to death, and I am willing to take the heat...How do I correct the horrible tendency of the aircraft in X-Plane to turn left? I cannot taxi or control the aircraft on the ground at all...I have followed any tips i have been able to find; turn off all wind, etc...Nothing seems to help...I have seen that it is the "p factor", but I have flown with private pilots and it is nowhere near as bad as in the simulator...I really want to use and enjoy X-Plane, but this one fault is ruining it for me...Any advice will be appreciated...Thanks, Steve

I don't see this option at all and was wondering if it's possible to create your own aircraft profiles like in PFPX?

I've recently started to have this strange issue in XPX where the time compression or 'ground-speed' acceleration feature seems to turn itself on sporadicaly at random. For example I might be parked at a gate doing preflight in the FF 757 or SSG 747, or I might be taxiing in an aircraft (doesn't matter which one) and all of a sudden I see '2X Ground-Speed' or '6X Ground-Speed' flashing message appear across the top of the screen and all of a sudden the sim speeds up rapidly. I've actually had a rather nasty incident one time where I was about to land the FJSim 737 and '4X Ground-Speed' kicked all of a sudden in causing the plane to roll and crash into the ground. I've…

HiGuys I have a home cockpit consists of 5 monitors and I use it as a glass cockpit ( draging the panels to each monitor ).Is there an ability to open the OH, PEDESTAL, PFD ND ECAS' S and FMC in any xplane aircraft (standard or addon) and drag it like I do in FSX ? for example, I am very Interest with JADESIGN A320 NEO, can I open and drag at least OH, PEDESTAL, PFD ND ECAS' S & FMC and drag them to their positions in the monitor ? Please any hint, advice anything that would be a very helpful. Thx

I just recently discovered this on google. Didn't know such a project existed. Its a 777-200ER for X-Plane, and it looks really high quality and even better modeling than the one from Flight Factor. Okay guys, I am trying to decide what the best combination of apps to use for flight planning. I have recently tried EFASS and it seems like it offers a ton of features and pretty decent to me. Since I haven't used PFPX I can't compare it to that yet. Could someone who has used all of the following software tell me what would be the best app to use to quickly get a complete flight plan with minimal effort? I heard that PFPX is the best for this. I fly mostly flight factor 777 and Jrollon's CRJ-200. Does PFPX export company route files for these planes? I just got round to starting to install XPlane-10 today. I downloaded the latest installer from the XPlane website and inserted Disc 1 (of 8). When the initial Disc 1 installer opened the first screen I closed it and used the downloaded/extracted new installer from the XPlane website which opened up what appeared to be the same window. I followed the steps and at the start of install it never asked whether I wanted 32 or 64bit (I'm on W7-64) I purchased XPlane 10 August 7, 2013, I can't tell what version I have so I'm not sure if the 64 bit option is in an update issued after my discs were printed or not. Hi guys, as I have already hinted at here and there, I am planning to release (in about 2-4 weeks ) a "little" addition to my existing HD Mesh Scenery v2 offering ... covering the whole island of Japan. There are not many payware airports. For a commercial organisation there is a question of whether to put the investment into development when it is unclear if there is a sufficient market demand. So how many of you would be prepared to buy payware airports if they were made available, bearing in mind you get what you pay for. Or is it solely the journey that matters to the majority and not the beauty of the takeoff and landing? Would be really useful if the silent majority would have your say and encourage others to do so as well perhaps. Thanks for reading my request folks.

I am flying either a Cessna 172 or Piper Archer iii. I have been flying from my home airport in Ottawa just around and trying to land. I plotted a flight to Cornwall with the airport and going to do it by sight and trying to get comfortable with compass for direction. I see on the Piper there is a GPS but don't know the type. I fooled around and got it going but does anyone know the type of gps and is there another plane similar to the ones I am flying with a bigger and better GPS. Just shot the approach and landing into Toronto City Centre, at dusk....and let me tell ya.... in XPX.30b5, and custom-to-the-hilt from the Org, CYTZ and Toronto Skyline scenery/CYYZ scenery and the G.T.A (Greater Toronto Area) scenery, with XPX settings red hot....it is one of the most beautiful and immersive approaches one can fly in ANY flight simulator. Just wanted to give a shout out to Carenado. Sometimes they take a beating but I've been working with their support team for about 3 days to resolve an issue I was having with the BATT switch. Their support team worked with me even though I was probably the only person in the world that was experiencing this problem. After the smoke cleared they gave me some code updates and the problem was resolved. Companies always take a bashing when things don't really go well for the customer. Rare is the time when a company is praised for going above and beyond. Carenado doesn't have a dedicated public forum so thought I'd post it here.

Searched but not found....info about X Plane X and NVIDIA Shadowplay..... I cannot get it to work in X Plane. It works fine in FSX. Anybody have knowledge about how to get it to function in XPX?
