I've been getting pretty good at adding AI traffic, but the AI Malcontent DC-10 is the exception. Aircraft.cfg has wingspan at 126.46ft (38.55m). Wiki says a DC-10-30 wingspan is 165 ft 4 in / 50.39 m. AI- Aircraft Editor shows that the parking radius set at 30m. AI Aircraft Radius Table has 39m for a DC-10. Changed parking radius in the AI - Aircraft Editor from 30m to 39m. Checked afcads for 39m parking, changing one parking spot from 38m to 39m. No showing up. Also checked parking codes and missing alpha channels. The only thing I haven't tried is kicking the tires I have the CDAI DC-10-40 (Japan Airlines) and it works fine. Aircraft.…

Hello, I am still dedicated to FS2004. I use it regularly and still get a lot of pleasure from it. One of the scenery i miss is Cloud9 Bergen. When it was released it was stunning and groundbraking. Still it is a beautifull scenery. Cloud9 doesn't exist anymore and after contact with Dreamfactory it isn't available anymore. It must be activated on Esellarate but it close in 2019. My question if there is somebody who can help me with this beautiful scenery.

Hi everyone, I’m having a very frustrating issue with the Tupolev 134 addon in FS2004 (FS9) — the sounds (cockpit buttons, announcements, specific aircraft audio) work perfectly on one PC (laptop - WindoS 7), but on my main simulator PC (desk computer - window 10) they don’t play at all, even though: • The exact same files were copied from the working PC • All audio works for other aircraft on the simulator PC • I tried registry fixes, FSSoundDLL prompt, reinstalling the Tu‑134 addon, checked all Windows audio settings, restored the system, and compared settings between both PCs • FS2004 is installed in the same relative location with the same con…

This will be a stretch, but does anyone know how to get in touch with CanUK or Adam Bentley? Their website is lost to time so I don't hold out much hope. I purchased/donated for their CYYC scenery years ago and I got the unlock keys for St Stephen and Miramachi airports taking the "Demo" signs out. Just a long shot but I'd be most appreciative for any info. Any email addresses I've tried won't go through, but that's no surprise since I got this close to 20 years ago! Cheers

Hello all, I am putting the finishing touches on KPIE and I was adding an "effect" to an object BGL using MCX. The object is an outdoor vent box (BGL) which I wished to have steam exiting this unit. I created the vent box successfully and was able to place in FS9. Additionally, I added the "steam effect" using MCX and exported the BGL. My problem is this. Inside MCX, I see the effect and it works perfectly. However, when I load FS9, I can see my vent box, but the steam "effect" is not working. Would appreciate any help from those familiar with MCX and more particularly with adding effects (fx). Thank you, Michael

As I understand it, browsers no longer use FTP coding in their software and FTP has security concerns. I've tried several ftp packages with no success. Thanks in advance. Chris

Hello all, I've completed modeling KPIE for Fs9 but before I release, I need some help. I've scoured the internet looking for a couple "STATIC" helicopters and a single "STATIC" airplane to use in my scenery. I have found none. Please understand I am not looking for moving AI versions of these aircraft. Only static objects which can be placed into the scenery for eye candy only. The (3) I'm in need of is: Static Chopper in a sheriff's (of any kind) paint. Static Chopper in a US Coast Guard paint. Static Airplane of a US Coast Guard Grumman Albatross or similar. Has anyone managed to install all the required components for this recently uploaded package? The upload itself comprises nothing more than a text file containing the flightplans, a list of required aircraft and a partial airport list. There's a link to a .ch website to download the textures, which requires registration, (including a telephone number for confirmation!), but completion of the form just generates an e-mail notifying me that my application is under consideration 😣.

Would any one possibly be willing to share (if you have) Simflyers KIAH? I still have the legal purchase code, but my original file is not in any of my archives...I tried wayback machine and it didnt work. TIA

Hello all, I wanted to advise everyone that I am thinking of pulling the plug on developing future airport scenery's. I am beginning to believe no one is using these airports which takes me months and months to develop. This is precious time away from my family. This decision is based on basically zero replies in the forums when these airports are released. No. I'm not looking for kudo's or anything else. I know most repainters have moved onto to MSFS 2020/24 but i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get an Iberia DC-9 in the old 1980s livery for any of the Aardvark dc-9 models? or if anyone is good enough at repainting that could paint one up real quick. i have searched everywhere and can not find one. all the dc-9s i have found are in the 1970s livery and i am not a fan of that one. I am learning to repaint but i am not good enough yet to paint curved lines or i would paint it myself. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Does anyone have Halifax CYHZ scenery by Craig and Steve Mosher for FS9? Avsim has several afcads for it. Freewarescenery.com lists Halifax2015 as "Another Scenery" so it may have been listed there. Chris

We are just a week into design of this airport for FS9 but lots of progress has been made. Here are some screenshots taken yesterday. Please keep in mind my scenery design computer is over 20 years old and obviously does not provide the best images. But I am anxious to complete this airport as I have flown in and out of it countless times over the years. I also modeled the new Allegiant terminal. SRQ

Hello, after reinstalling my operating system, I'm having problems with the ifly737. My sim is giving me an error because of the iflyNG.dll. My OS is still the old XP with SP3, and the sim is FS9, but it's located on a different partition and not on C. Flight1 has discontinued its support for this, so I can't get any help with the 737ng anymore. Do I have to assign this iflyNG.dll to the registry? I've tried everything imaginable, but I just can't get any further. Can you help me? I would be very grateful.
