I fancy doing a bit of turboprop flying but I can't decide which to get out of the Flight 1 ATR and the Majestic Dash 8. I have heard many good things about the ATR but very little about the dash. If the dash 8 was a -400Q then I would certainly go with that as I would really like to fly some SK routes with it. I have the PSS dash 8 which is good but a bit old maybe. The only drawback with the ATR over the dash that I can see is that there are less operators/routes to fly it on in Europe.I migth be leaning towards the ATR but and comments very welcome. Andy S

For some reason the water around Manhattan in my FS2004 disappeared. The Hudson River and the East river are missing. Where the rivers should be, is now ground with trees and buildings. The rivers are also not visible on the Map or in the GPS. I disabled all the add-ons but that didn't help. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

How to make the ATC window transparent. All of a sudden the ATC window always open with a blue background color, Happened before and was able to make it transparent but can't recall how.. Appreciate any assistance. jgar

Hello everybody. I have a New Installation of FS 2004 which Is currently working well. I also have the following Add-ons FScene1 & FScene2 which are Scenery CD's and WORLD AIRPORTS 2. However, None of these CD's will load Past the first load-up screen. Any help or suggestions with this Please. Many thanks Paul

The auto-update which starts when launching FS Realtime completes the data download OK, but runtime error 9 then displays and FS Realtime closes. This started this week. Hitherto no problems. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? I am running FS 2004 in windows 10. Many thanks Mike Smith

As seen in this video, I am having some really annoying audio mix. I'm trying to find a solution but have yet to find one, has anyone got a fix or a link on how to fix this? *******CAUTION*********** The audio in the attachment is loud to showcase the issue, sorry headphone users. :) Thanks, -Mike

I have created an old RAF base - RAF Croft, which is no longer in existance, just near to Teeside airport, It did not exist in FS9 so I looked up some stuff om the internet and designed it using a bit of artistic licence, I have done this many times and have had no problems, I used ADE 3 to designe the airport including parking and all needed taxying and runway starts and runway taxying etc, did everything as I have done lots of times, I then used AI flight planner version 3.4. . . the most updated, to create some flight plans as I have done thousands of times. I then ran FS9 , went to RAF croft at the right time but no aircraft showed up. Now I know I have evrythin…

Hi. I`m still flying my FFXSGA DC10-10 in FS9. Have BIG issues with NAV. lights. Both navlights are in red color and it is not possible to fix it in Aircraft.CFG. Anyone who knows how to fix this, I belive there is something wrong with the Model MDL file? My FFXSGA DC10-30Works perfect with all lights but do not have any LIGHTS Section in Aircraft.CFG I do not know how to contact SGA on e-mail so thats why I make this topic. Regards JanB

Maybe it is absurd to ask here but I severely require help for keyboard control in FS9. Actually whenever I play with keyboard I am unable to control the airplane and ultimately crash. Whenever I try to rotate the airplane a little, the airplane suddenly turns almost more than 180° and I fail to counter balance and ultimately crash! Similar thing happens during landing when I try to nose down a lil, the airplane almost becomes vertically down and I ultimately crash! So could anybody teach me the right way to balance the aircraft with keyboard? Moreover any kind of help is appreciated... Thank you!

Hi to every one, I have reinstalled Capitain Sim Boeing 757 over MS Flight Simulator 2004 and encountered an issue adjusting speed in MCP. Numbers doesn't scroll one by one, instead off they jump in a variable number of digits. I have been searching this problem in CS forum without any results. Hi everyone, normally I like to try to figure out things for myself but I'm stumped at one freeware airplane. It's a Mirage IV at https://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=M4P1.zip It's a redirect from the main website at http://www.mirage4fs.com/panels_all.html#miv_pan There are two separate download files and I've unzipped both of them. I unzip all the files to the FS2004 folder and the plane appears in the selection list when I load, but they're all textureless. No texture at all, just the light gray shade used in the base model. Maybe it sounds awkward to ask what's basically the difference between the freeware UK2000 sceneries available in the avsim library and the payware UK2000 extreme sceneries? And I also heard about some payware part of UK2000 scenery of part 1 - 8 has gone freeware, but I have no idea of how to get those as the links seem to be dead! Hi everyone! I am a regular player of FS2004 since 2014 and I am still not thinking of upgrading to any other game as it's really near to my heart. But actually my storage disk lost last year and my Mesh files were stored there. I used to use a 70m Mesh which I downloaded previously from Simvation.com which was the only freeware mesh I knew. But now when I go to that site, now I see that I am not able to download any file as the links seem to be dead now. So is there any way possible to get a global freeware mesh for FS2004 at the current moment? Thank you!

I know FS2004 is quite old now, almost 20 years backdated, and in order to keep it playing with fun, graphics tuning is very much required. REX along with overdrive is considered a gem for graphics tweaking for FS2004. I had it from a long time back and tweaked a lot. I hope this topic is well deserved to be a part of this sophisticated forum of the good old FS20004! I have no idea if anyone is still with this remarkable sim but I still play FS2004 regularly with tons of heavily loaded payware addons. One regret of my life is that I don't have much freeware addons of any kind. Now almost every link seem to be dead. Are any good freewares still alive? Being an Indian I really like to fly over India in my retro FS2004! But the biggest problem of mine is that I don't have much addon airports and sceneries for India. Although I have the brilliant ImagineSim VIDP New Delhi payware addon but I crave for more. Although I doubt FS2004 enthusiasts and links are still alive!😅 I would be really glad if anyone suggests me any good Airport/Scenery Addon available for India? Freeware is more preferred...
