FS2CREW: FLIGHT 1 ATR (FS9)

Hi Bryan,I'm currently flying to Des Moines Airport in the ATR72. I'm expecting an ILS approach rwy 13 (CAT I approach).The airport elevation is 958ft, the touchdown elevation is 921ft.Accrding to the Jeppesen plate, the DA for ILS 13 is 1121ft and the DH is 200ft. How do I set the red bug and the 2 white bugs on the altimeter ? (which values in fact) the red bug cannot go further than 980ft and the first white bug cannot go below 0ft.How do I set FS2crew in the approach briefing page ?

Hi guys,I've been working through the tutorial and seem to have doing OK, but I got hopelessly stuck right at the very end with the "Open the PA panel and press TERM" if it's the last flight of the day instruction. I'm not sure what the PA panel is and I can't for the life of my find anything labeled "TERM". Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I have just bought this nice addon to the ATR, but I have a problem.When I'm going through the Takeoff page with the FO and he has replied the takeoff-bugs he just continues to say 1. Nothing can stop him. I can go on with the checking and he can relpy, but 1 is just continued to be said.Does anyone know what I can do to have it dissapered.

Greetings to the community, I'm new to the very technical flight simming scene, and I was wondering if there's a manual/tutorial that explains procedures in a step by step manner? The Operating Checklist I have doesn't explain much to a newbie like me. For instance, after I "Power-On" it took me awhile to locate the DC/AC Wild switches. How do you exactly "Set" the countdown timer on the Chronograph? Bryan hi,I finally got around to re-installing the ATR upto 1.3. At the time of install and already having start centre installed i don't see the ATR listed in the start centre. Doses the ATR not have this feature or do i need to reinstall start centre now that the atr is installed?regards David

Hi BryanJust curious. Is the number of go-arounds per flight limited to just one? I pulled the ol'ATR out of the hangar for some approach practise but managed only one, because the go-around clickspot did not work during my second approach.All the other landing callouts came normally.As for the other question I almost know the answer but.. Are there any plans to port over the "start from ready to taxi" -state feature which was created for FSX? The ATR flights can't be saved, so it would speed things up for situations like this at least somewhat..cheers

Greetings,I'm installing FS2Crew for FS9 on a new computer. I have my license file and a install file. "FS2Crew ATR.exe". When I installed the software it never asked for my key file. However, now when I try and run the ATR I get errors stating the FS2Crew gauges cannot be loaded and FS9 crashes. I suspect that I don't have the wrapper needed to reinstall, and I can't find the software to download. I'm running FS9 on Vista 32bit. Any help would be great.Thanks,-Matt

I had the Flight1 ATR running with fs2crew for a while, so my initial panel status was cold and dark.Today I decided to work without fs2crew, so in the atr panel configuration manager, I ticked the engines running option, saved and exited.Loading the atr (after the cessna), all is running except the attitude indicator and the navigation display below. I waited a few minutes, thinking that, as when fs2crew ran, it took 5 minutes for the two crt screens to come to life. But nothing happened.What's wrong here? Is this an fs2crew snag or the ATR only?Eytan

Hi, Bryan: I just tried to do a three-flight round-robin and found it very frustrating in a couple of places:1] On my second leg, after taking off, I hit Z to engage the autopilot, and it wouldn't. I'd hit Z and here the co-pilot say "Autopilot on" followed by the pilot saying "autopilot off". I tried Z, I tried clicking the On button, and got the same thing. I've had this happen before but I've always been able to get the darn thing engaged eventually. Not this time. I had to fly the whole flight manually, which is not easy to do while carrying out all the FS2Crew functions. This won't work out as expected. First when I go to ACT RTE 1 page 2 rwy6 is already listed in 1R pos which it is not in the turorial screenshot. Second I can't enter MAKET2 and other entries that is supposed to be in the left column. In the right column I can enter MAKET TOPAX KNHI but they get incorrectly ordered.

Does FS2Crew ATR change the aircraft panel cfg. so that you can't store frequencies?Also, what is the CPL (autopilot panel) button used for, if anything, in FS2Crew ATR?Thanks in advance,Slugger

Ey there guys.... well.... i just purchased Fs2crew ATR edition... and got the following problem.Everytime between -25min and -22min... the sim will crash... thats right after the FO comes to the Cabin.I tried EVERYTHING, without running fraps, deactivating Active Camera, i dont use a pre saved flight or something like that, reinstalling Fs2crew, reinstalling F1 ATR.Please if you know what to do, let me know.Ty in advance.Hernan

Ok I am going throught the tutorial, I have everything going to plan, up until the final cockpit preparation checklist, I press the main button to ask for this but nothing happens, I have changed the assignment of the key several times but still nothing, the secondary (standby) works, what could be the problem?Many Regards

I recently downloaded and installed FS2Crew [as part of FlightCrewX] for FS9. When I use the ATR version, it keeps crashing. Sometimes for no reason, the screen just goes black and then I get a message saying "Flight Simulator encountered a problem and needs to re-start". This morning, though, I was landing at KMIA. Everything had gone fine, but at the moment of touchdown, the screen went blue and then broke up, and Windows re-started from scratch. When I flew the last flight again without FS2Crew activated, everything was fine. I have actually only gone through a complete flight once. The other 10 or 12 times it crashes. For the first time ever since i got fs2crew for tha atr, I went through the return leg procedures. It was going well, and I got the engines started. but the two main crt screens were dark. I know it takes a while normally for them to come to life, but I was ready for the taxi checklist already.Eytan Ornstein

Hi all,Just returned to trying out the ATR, after a very long absence.I was flying on-line, and after taking off, all appeared OK,except I was having difficulty in attaining my planned altitude of FL280. In fact was approaching stall at FL230. This being the case I requested FL220 from the Centre, and on approval descended down to this level. On approach I was getting no responses from FS2Crew and the mode was stuck in the "Climb" status. I assumed this was because I had not reached the programmed FL280, is this correct and if so, what are you supposed to do in this situation?Regards JohnT

Good Afternoon Bryan,I have tried searching the forums to a solution to the problem that I am having but can't find anything......I have the current downloadable ATR version installed with updates..1.3F and memory fix... I have been following the tuturial to the letter....... when it comes to the section where the FA comes into the cockpit to check on the intercom test, the sim locks up and then crashes to the desktop..Up until this point it works like a charm.I have un-installed and reinstalled the FS2 Crew and it still happens..Any suggestions?CheersPatrick Hanna

Hi BryanI bought FS2Crew for the ATR a while back and gave up on it due to frustration caused by my own impatience.I picked it up again a week ago and am really enjoying learning how to use it and operate how a real ATR captain would.I'm all proud of myself as I can nearly get to the runway without making a mistake. I have just downloaded the lastest FS2Crew Start center and noticed that there is not a tab for the ATR72-500 ( FS9). Is there something that I am missing or is the start center not needed for the ATR72???CheersPatrick Hanna
