FS2CREW: FLIGHT 1 ATR (FS9)

Just returning to the ATR and FS2 Crew after some years away. All systems working Ok except for the 'Int' button on the radio panel. I cannot bring up the 'PA' page to check this as the 'Int' button does not appear to work. Anyone experience similar problem and found a fix? Tx

After upgrading my pc, I began to reinstall all my addons to fs9. (fs9 installed on drive D, not on C\Program files as many people recommend)Firstly I installed the F1 ATR.I have the fs2crew for the F1 ATR on a cd,I installed it. then the update (from the fs2crew downloads).I ran fs9, first the cessna then loaded the ATR.No sign of fs2crew when clicking on the required gauge. In fact engines are on!ran the fix afterwards , but found no soundgauge.dll in the fs9 gauges folder. Looks to me like the whole install went wrong.I suspect the new os windows7 32 bit is the culprit; have been having problems with every addon reinstalled. The groundcomm.gau (or whatever it is called exactly :( ) error message has been really annoying me and shattering the ultimate realism when the flight 1 atr and FS2CREW are combined.After strolling through the forum - i found this was fixed by a user by disabling Active CameraAll Camera style addons for FS2004for example:Active CameraDBS Walk and Follow (what i was using)FS Cameraetcthese affect the use of this specific gauge - so i did some testing - i installed each product, disabled them(when i had dbs installed, i moved the main dbs folder, tried FS2CREW again and VOILA!(I only had one cam style addon on at once!!!)I have tested this with the above and will continue …

I think I've found the reason why some gauges are not loading in ATR version of FS2CREW for FS2004. In my opinion the reason is in DirectX files and version. Usually the latest versions of Windows use DirectX 11. FS2CREW was made to use DirectX 9.0c and thus some libraries and parts of DirectX are different or missing. I've downloaded the redistributable pack of DirectX 9.0c (not websetup), installed it and now everything is working fine...

Hello!I just bought FS2Crew for the ATR, and I ran into a little problem: like (probably) every beginner, I messed up several times :( One of my mistake was closing the Ground Comms window after requesting Hotel-mode startup clearance.When the time came to start the engines, I wasn't able to find the Ground Comms entry in the Instruments Panel menu: only the Takeoff Data Card was available.After checking in the panel.cfg file, I found that the Window20 (Ground Comms) had the nomenu=1 option set. Is that wanted, given that the manual says we can bring back the window this way? Changing it to nomenu=0 fixed the problem.Strangely, the Landing Data Card window has the same op…

Hi,Surely if you level off using altitude on AP prior to intercepting GS, you wouldn't actually set GA altitude in AP until AFTER Alt has switched off when GS is captured.how come FS2Crew has these the other way around ?

I searched the forum but didn't find a match so here's my problem: During the final cockpit preparation checklist, the mainbutton fails and shows no more response. It works fine with the LVLD and with the ATR up to this point. The secondary button works fine and produces stand by call outs. That behaviour remains, also whren the FO asks to start No. 2 in mode Hotel. I cant respond via the main. And the whole time the mouse pointer is switching between the hand pointing out a clickspot and the normal pointer when positioned over a clickspot.I reinstalled FS2Crew an activated it but no result. Any ideas? THX

at 4 minutes the chronometer stops counting down and stays at 4 minutes...it works if i do it manually...but what fun is that!any ideas?thanks

Dear All,I have this problem since the day I installed patch for fscrew for flight1 ATR. The patch known as "FS9ATR". However, after followed the instruction given, I still cannot activate the FS2crew via cockpit panel. It seems also, there is no "section" in FS2crew start centre either.Anything that i missed out?Your kind help is much appreciated.TQ

Hi Brian, I'm sure you must have been asked this question before although I couldn't find similar questions with the search.I've been working on recording my own set of voice files for the ATR but some of the sequences aren't always entirely obvious. Do you have a list of files and what they should say? It would a great help if you did but if not, I'll proceed as now - slowly...ThanksMark

I've just upgraded my computer and installed Windows 7. I've re-installed FS9 and FSX. With FS9 I've also re-installed the FS2Crew for the Flight1 ATR. Updates have also been installed. Now, whenever I load the FS9 ATR I first get a message;Flight simulator was unable to load some aircraft or software. You can continue using Flight Simulator but this aircraft or software will be disabled.File:Gauages\fs2crew\atr\FS2CrewTakeOffDataCard.GAU If I okay that message another similar pops up.Any ideas how to fix this?Bruce RossNZ

Hi Brian,I have windows vista and the FS2crew installed in FS9 and each time I load the ATR I got an error msg which says "FS can't load some aircraft or programs. Fs will disable the programs or aircraft c:...gaugesfs2crewATRFS2CrewStand.gau"That's the only gauge that can't be loaded with the ATR.I've tried every thing like runing fs9 with administrator right but still nothing!I can click on the start button to start Fs2crew and it will work, but i don't know what does this gauge does. So I prefer not to continue.Hope you can helpThanks

Hi, and thanks for a great workload reducing product. I almost never used this airplane because it was so freaking hard to do everything and not wind up in a smoking hole. Anyway I have two completely unrelated questions. 1) I can't seem to find the primary and secondary button assignments in FSUIPC. Am I just not looking hard enough or are they different? 2) Is there a way to make your FO wait longer before yelling at you that your taxi light isn't on? It seems like you drop the brake and 10 seconds later he asks you to turn on the light. I realize that a taxi light is a great resource but it blinds the ground crew so you usually want to wait a while before you tur…

When I attempt a Localizer Approach, the callouts I get are out of sequence. ILS approaches work just fine.Here's the sequence I follow:On the Approach Briefing Page, the STAR is set to Generic ILS, approach type is NP LOCAs the localizer comes alive, I generate the "Localizer alive" call with a click of the ASI.The next click on the ASI is garbled, with a couple of different callouts together, but I end up with flaps at 15, and no gear down. Greetings,I have no idea what happened, but this morning I started getting FS2Crew software errors when I select the ATR as an Aircraft. The first error was from FS2CrewBasic.GAU or something along those lines. I spent most of the day troubleshooting the issue but nothing was resolved. I suspected a license issue so I completely reinstalled FS9/ATR/FS2Crew. I installed FS2Crew from the Flight1 wrapper, so I know I have a valid license file. Now I get the error displayed twice with the FS2CrewGroundComms.GAU this time, and there's a black strip where the ground comms panel would show. I've got SB4 working for the Aeroworx King Air and the default Cessna. When I'm flying the Flight 1 ATR with FS2 Crew, I can hear OK but can't transmit. The FSUIPC settings for SB4 are non-aircraft specific, so they should be working. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Slugger
