Donny AKA ShalomarFly 2 ROCKS!!!I am proficient in the King Air but not FS9. Apparently FSUIPC is not available as a download so can't use Duenna. Where does FS9 put screenshots? Someone said "clipboard" but is that the kneeboard or something else? I have photoshop to size etc but can't find screenshots. Tried to see what assignment it is but can't see screenshot in key map. Is it print screen or ctrl print screen? have tried both. I have flexible work schedule and could be useful IF I can resolve this issue otherwise I will be NO use whatsoever.GO GO GO:-wave

  6. Hi All,Just flew my first real leg ever in RTW - what a thrill! But I will retire for now, and just wish you/us good luck. And the request: Please remember to post wishes/reservations whatever you call it in the forum. I wanted to fly a particular leg due to time constraints, but that leg was already 'assigned' to Jeff - but that did not show in the forum, so it must have been agreed upon online (Jeff did let me fly that leg - thanks again). It might make things a just a little easier to find out what is going on, if these things are posted too... Just my 2 cents :)EDIT: I can see that the next 'assignments' has been posted - so I guess this post wasn't needed - except for …

I will fly on one computer and grab/drop baton with the other. If FSUIPC is available as download I can use Duenna otherwise it will have to be screenshot. Will upload a "practice" flight screenshot soon for analysis of course NOT to official thread.GO GO GO:-wave

Hi allIt's probably just my database, but whenever I try to look (via the GPS) at approaches for OERR, my system hangs! And it is a VERY stable system otherwise.Could someone try the same (GPS-PROC-try to select an approach)? we don't want our first leg to end in a chrash, do we..??If there is a problem, we can still use the leg, just don't try to check anything out via the GPS.Better safe than sorry!!!BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH

If you feel you're highly comfortable flying the required classic aircraft, please make yourself known here. These aircraft are not to be used by people that don't know them well as they're rather a challenge to fly and it would be a shame is someone tried one only to crash on landing, and that repeats itself several times.myself I'll be flying the Vega

Team AVSIM Practice Thread #8StoneC0ld has the Baton PADL - CYXYPractice continues.----------------------------------------------------We are conducting a practice run for Team AVSIM to prepare for the Round the World Race. The actual race begins on February 20th. So this is a good time for old veterans to renew their skills and for new teammates to get the procedures down before the actual race begins. One of the keys to our winning the last two years has been our organization. We want to keep the baton in the air. That means that we try to have someone at the destination airport waiting, with engines warmed up and flight plan filed, ready for the arriving teammate. When…

Hi everyoneAs you have all probably noticed, the FS-Flight-Analysisdoesn't cover everything and sometimes it invalidates perfectly normalflights, seemingly without reason (ok, it has its own reasoning forit, but it's harder to understand than any woman I know :)).Together with the race-coordinators, Ian Dale, Matt Smith and MichaelMacKuen, I put together a small utility to help validate flights forthe race.Note: as it is now, the rules have not been published and this programwill certainly not be the only way to validate your flights. But itcould possibly be a substitute for the FS-Flight-Analysis, if theprogram functions correctly. It does some pre-flight checks, lets you…

Rule : "....make at least one full-stop landing above 60* North latitude and below 45* South latitude...." Question : :-samurai From the last two races, how did you approach this rule or was it not included last time?South America and New Zealand are the only countries I know that have part of it exist below 45* South Latitude.I would figure that New Zealand be a logical race option.Sean.

  22. Hi folks-We've created a website for the RTW Race. On this website can be found the official rules for this year's race (minus a few specific points that will be made public shortly before the race), a news section, a pilot resource page, a FAQ, and a few other things that we think you'll find useful. We hope to use the website as a centralized source for race information

Flight Analysis Screen Burp PROOF Please.Hi all,I am still looking for a someone to post a reproduceable flight where this alleged anomaly occurs where no plane change or something else happens.I have yet to be able to reproduce an error over a two hour flight where my flight analysis screen gets corrupted with an < icon, unless I do something like a plane change.I see some are trying for a seperate program for this, but I would also like to nail this down, as I don't recall this being a problem the last two years, and now all of a sudden it is a problem. If it is due to an add-on, we shouldn't make exceptions, that person should simply not use that particular add-on.So…
