The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I have a soft spot for steam powered, aircraft, particularly military jets. Here's a few cockpit shots of my favorites. Please feel free to add your own to this topic. Day shots taken in and around the Grand Canyon (KGCN). Night shots taken in the San Francisco Bay area. Cheers! [url=http://imageshack.com/i/0kezp7j/] [url=http://imageshack.com/i/076rscj/]

After spending the past few months doing medium and long hauls across Europe and the US, I decided it was time to do some exploring with smaller aircraft. I decided New Zealand is the perfect area for my exploration thanks to it's amazing scenery (even better with ORBX) and the many many commuter flights with Air New Zealand and smaller companies like Sounds Air. Fortunately the VA I'm a member of has an awesome Air New Zealand mission that covers the entire country with smaller prop aircraft, here are my adventures! FSX w/ REX 2.0, ASE PMDG B1900D, Majestic Q400 Payware ORBX New Zealand (North & South Island packages) FSDT GSX Ground Services Ultimate Traffic…

Afternoon, Departing Gatwick, heading for Stavanger. Sitting on Stand 23 at LGW whilst a British Airways taxis for departure. We are just about ready for pushback, today we are departing from RWY26L on the CLN8R departure. Final few passengers just boarding. Just pushing back to face west. Taxiing via K,N and AN for A3 for RWY26L. "NAX7YW, after the landing Virgin 747 passes from left to right, line up and wait RWY26L via A" Watching the 747 touching down back on British soil as we enter the runway. Some shots from the circa 800nm journey from deep in the heart of "outback" Australia to the Queensland city of Cairns, as I explore the delights of Orbx Australia. Anyone who tells you that you have to fly GA to enjoy these products...don't believe them! B) Sadly, I have not yet configured FS Recorder correctly, as I found to my dismay no flap settings or panels had been rendered in the replay, and the engines were not recorded spinning. So a couple of the shots have a few strange goings on in them! Sadly this means I couldn't share a few cockpit shots! Forgive the amount of shots...but I just can't get enough of this beautiful scenery.

Hi folks, continuing with my Alaska Airlines themed flights, I decided to travel from my last destination, Los Angeles International, to Vancouver International. Real flight used as the "template" was ASA705, served by a 737-900 on Monday June 17th 2013. Real flight time was 2 hours 17 minutes, I pretty much matched it at 2 hours 18 minutes. SID was CASTA2 from runway 25R, and arrival STAR was the GRIZZ4 into runway 26R. Cruise altitude was initially FL340, with a step climb to FL360 for the majority of the flight. Weather was perfect, with few clouds and a slight crosswind from the west. Route from Flightaware: CASTA2 GMN DUCKE LMT SEA PAE GRIZZ4 Here is the r…
