The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

A french dude called "Sirflight" put up a sun mod video on youtube some time ago... well in his video, he shares a cool sun flare mod and shows off his ENB config which makes the sun a lot nicer, sort of spreads out the light like it'd in real life. However, he refused to share his ENB because "he worked a lot for it". so I figured it's better to leave off obsolete ENB and try to match his settings with SFX. I added some hdr and bloom to sfx, tweaked it the past few days and I'm pretty happy with the result. I put emphasis on tweaking daylight and making sure white objects don't shine unrealistically crazy. I figured it's the right methodology to do this. Also, other thin…

  13. Apparently the budget cuts have forced the Air Force to press its EC135's into revenue passenger service! I sighted one of them as I pulled up to the gate a PHNL in the NGX.

got nostalgic about the classic b200, after all these years she still looks good. gns500 works well, too. wish the new fsx f1 b200 used steam gauges but may get that one later on.

  18. Well my first flight in the KA200 (Concrete Municipal to Darrington Field) went fairly well until it was time to extend the flaps. Unfortunately I was on final to Darrington field with an approach speed of 130 kts to a rather short strip (of course the proper thing to do was go to a larger field with a longer runway). During post walk around it is evident that the tires and brakes got some wear.... I now need to find a contract mechanic to look at my flaps and see how long it will take before leaving. Still, after all this time I manage to find new ways around the mountains while test flying my new addons; Carenado's CT206H here. Went up from Hope CYHE to Lytton CYLY following the BC-1 Trans-Canada highway. Beautiful scenery when you stay low

Hi there, I'm sure I'm not able to fly this bird by the book yet, so if you find any errors - you can keep 'em ;-) The FDE on this Beech is unreal, I'm still in awe over it!!!! Here are some shots I took........these are not in any particular order ;-) Cheers, Pete

  24. Just made this flight and snapped some shots along the way. About 1350NM so it's a good distance. Lining up for the runway. Weather was terrible in Cairns... Postive rate, gear up with the terminal in view and beaches in the background... Climbout was very rocky and the STAR has you make a hard left almost immediately after clearing the field... Making the left out over the bay with the airport barely in sight... The storms were pretty low so it didn't take long to hit calmer conditions... Probably one of the more boring routes around. Barren wasteland comes to mind... Now in our decent, you can see a flooded river…
