Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/

- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.

Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Did a flight on vatsim tonight in the beloved NGX and even made a new friend along the way. B) Fligthplan was KABQ ABQ2.CNX CME KF12Y LLO.BAZBL3 KIAH @ FL330 / 0.799 Mach. B) Just to the north of Intercontinental, descending down to two-thousand for 26L. The Hardy Toll and Interstate 45 just below. Base for 26L for a short final. Oh, and hello friend! A short circuit around around one of my favourite airports, Valdez (PAVD) in the incredible ORBX South Alaska Scenery. I am flying with the just purchased Milviz 737, and its amazing! Definately will be my new favourite aircraft. What is great is that I get a very realistic airline simulation, and that is still forgiving FPS wise, allowing me to max out my scenery slides and still experience fluid sim that most of the time stays locked at 30.

This evening I decided to try out the new night lighting in Orbx's FTXG... all I can say is... well, I'll let you see for yourselves... It truly is superb. A flight from Gibraltar to Malaga and I flew over some wonderful city lighting, here's a quickie from my descent into Malaga.

I can't remember having seen any OpenLC demo comparison screenshots so here is one comparison. When you follow various forums you might have noticed not everyone er... knows (or is convinced) that landclass does make a huge difference to FTXG. Well, here is Riga Intl. airport from the top, with FTXG but without the OpenLC demo landclass. Quite repetitive, isn't it? And let's not even mention the realism... (Just search for Riga Intl. on Google maps for the real deal: it doesn't even come close!). And here is the exact same view but now WITH the OpenLC demo landclass. That looks a LOT better AND more realistic! Here is the difference as you would see it o…

I have to say the FTXG autogen took me by surprise... I always thought about FTXG being all about new default textures. And yeah, alright, with autogen... So I had realistic expectations: FTXG wouldn't change the world into a giant FTX region. It would be only textures. But boy, I gotta say... it almost feels like I DID get a giant global FTX region...! And the autogen plays an unexpected big role in this! I fly a lot above Norway, using freeware landclass and mesh and some more stuff and FTXG has REALLY transformed it all into a FTX region, also due to the very varied and very 3D-looking autogen! Here are some random shots of it, focusing on the autogen. I am seeing…
