The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Just enjoying what's best about this hobby--sharing those perfect moments of flight... Most of the pictures were taken between Vegas and Lone Pine, over the Death Valley (a misnomer for sure--I just went there for the first time in my life in June, and it was a beautiful place) Regards, John

Been snapping some shots all day.. If anyone has a recommendation on a good screenshot utility, let me know! Snapper always seems to degrade the image. It looks great on my monitor, the screens always come out not to my liking for editing. Anywho... Here is United 1479 departing SFO 28L for a run up to Anchorage. Constructive criticism and tips are welcomed. B)

Saw the recent topic with the A300 in BCal paintscheme and would like to show this repaint ( intended for the Aerosoft AibusX and Extended ) . Since the release of the AirbusX have busied myself with several repaints , some of which can be found here on AVSIM , the rest on the Aerosoft site . In my research I came across some ( dated ) photo's of an A320 in BA Landor paintscheme and later discovered that 10 aircraft were originally ordered by British Caledonian and taken over by British Airways after their merger . One of the first aircraft was to be G-BRSA ( re-registered G-BUSB ) and I have come across some pictures , several now appear to have been artist's renderings…

Pretty cool gem I found.. ALTHOUGH.. Virtavia (previously known as Alphasim) is working on a brilliant fsx superfortress addon... here are couple wip shots of it: Yesterday they added a cockpit shot: I gotta say it's fairly impressive so far and FSX really begs for an up-to-date B-29 model, so hopefully this one serves the purpose rightfully. Meanwhile, I installed a very old addon (2008) from Shockwave (AKA A2A) and with a small fix, it's actually working nicely in fsx, you even get the fs2004 rain drops effect in the vc haha:
