The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Sorry I've been away from what's arguably my favorite forum here, where we share our flights. I've quit using Tileproxy and have switched over to BlueSkyScenery. Gottfried Razek has created some beautiful scenery that just looks wonderful. I hope you enjoy my pictures. Regards, John

Hey all, it's been a while since I have posted, I left FS for a while to get some other life-type stuff together, but the itch came back so here I am. FSX is too daunting and time-consuming to install with all of its accessory programs, patches, updates, OS settings etc...so I got my simpler X-plane install up and running, and I thought I would share some shots. I wanted to make a sim environment that would be highly satisfactory and useful to me, I don't have a lot of time to sim, so I decided to keep to my home state of Florida, USA and really refine the sim in that location. Thought I would take a flight from KBOI to S87 in the Waco, just for a nice follow-the-river VFR flight. Out of the corner of my eye I see black dots off in the distance, at my altitude. Screen artifacts? Nope - they move with changing perspective. So I investigated. Got close, maybe too close: I think the Govmint is doing strange things over Boise, Idaho. Or maybe it is just DX10 having fun with Orbx.
