The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I tell you, I am constantly amazed at how real FSX is getting. This is using Opus FSX, REX textures and MegasceneryEarth's new Colorado scenery. Here I am wondering around the Rockies trying to find the Grandby airport... oh, there it is on the left.

Hi Guys, Just a few shots from tonight on a nice flight from Birmingham - Gibraltar. Hope you like! Boarding at Gate 41. After receiving clearance, cabin crew told us the doors were locked and we were ok to disconnect from the bridge. Pushing back, we were departing from RWY33 so it was a nice short taxi. Showing off the gorgeous new Sharklets as an aircraft flies overhead trailing. "Via Echo 1 you're cleared for takeoff runway 33, winds 050 @ 06kts." Takeoff power set! Turning away on the departure, contacting London.

Hello folks, per my notice from my previous Alaska Airlines NGX flight from KSEA to KPHL, I have undertaken another nice long haul, this time between Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (PANC) and the famous Los Angeles International (KLAX). I have been looking forward to seeing some breathtaking scenery, a nice change of pace from the monotonous urban and suburban land I tend to frequently fly over in the U.S. ASA156 is a 5 hour trip, as flown by the real flight on May 31, 2013, I flew it in about 4 hours 54 minutes. Weather was excellent throughout with slight headwinds tapering off to crosswinds from the west upon entry into Washington State. Takeo…

I'm doing the IVAO EDDF RFE this weekend. My flight is DLH769, Pune (India) to Frankfurt via Bucharest for a fuel stop. The flight operates 3-4x per week by PrivatAir with a 737-800WL in BBJ2 configuration. Departure is 5:30 local, and I grabbed this pic on a practice run the other day just after reaching cruise with the sunrise over India. REX Essential OD, of course.

I flew from EGNL Walney Island (Barrow) in Cumbria, North West England, to EGCK Caernarfon, North Wales in what has to be the most under-rated LSA aircraft available for FSX............ It's the Just Flight SportCruiser, and although the graphics are not quite RealAir or Ants Airplanes standards, the flight handling characteristics, sound and immersion beat any LSA I've flown in FSX. The engine sounds contain 'headset whine' ; I wasn't sure how this would work out when I read it but it sounds so authentic, I wish other GA aircraft makers would add this too! ........ The Dynon is fantastic and let me tell you .... (I only bought this aircraft tonight) ....…

In honor of the crew of the B-24 liberator "Lily Marlene". History of "LILY MARLENE": 2nd Lt. William Ransom Frederick's crew managed to fly five combat missions prior to their loss on a night training flight on September 9, 1944. All of these occurred in August, one to France and four to Germany. It is not known exactly what type of training the crew was undertaking on September 9th, records stating only that they were "participating in a night cross-country flight." The cause of the crash is unknown, but from statements by the navigator and bombardier who managed to bail out, it is possible that the plane either flew through the prop wash of another aircraft or enc…
