The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I hope the images show up. Last night I had some troubles with the url's that I used to embed the pics. Please note that the Sabena "747-300" is actually the 400D model that I used. There's almost no difference on the outside (a part from the SCD - Side Cargo Door - that is present on Sabena's model) between the 400D and the last planes of the 300 series. Boeing was already implementing the improvements of the 400 series on the last B743's builds. OO-SGD is actually the very last -300 model that was build. The engines are wrong though... GE is correct but the 300 had CF6-50E2. The screenshots are actually 3440*1440, so you must click on them to show up in full r…

Hi, some shots from a flight Telavi-Mestia in Georgia along the Caucasus. Unfortunately, no AI traffic today. Taxiing at Telavi: After take-off, one can see some old military installations from Soviet times in front of the Caucasus: As well as Telavi city in the opposite direction: After crossing Georgia from east to west, the Caucasus main ridge is near: ... and even more near: Just a look to Ushguli village at the right bottom: Svaneti range at the left side: The main range at the right site: Turning and diving into the valley where Mestia is situated Mt. Ushba far above:…

I went back to designing sunsets a few days ago. I had been caught in the crossfire of two mutually exclusive ideas - or so I thought. I don't care for using sunglow files to make a sunset as it causes some odd problems but the sunglow files are pretty much required for the daytime to look good. My problem was how to mix the two but dataref editor helps out a tremendous amount. Here are just four simple pics. note that I increased dome/sun_gain_1_hdr and dome/sun_gain_2_hdr both by .2 (from .8 to 1.0 and 1.6 to 1.8)(gain1 is the halo and gain2 is the sun texture. I changed the colors of some of the foregrounds on the sunglow (mount in this case) and deleted…

One of the things I like about Air Hauler, is it gets me to fly to airports and destinations I might not normally think of going to. On this occasion I'd flown my French-based CRJ1000 down to Southern Spain to open a hub at Almeria, but then needed to fly to Senegal because I wanted to open a base there too, but didn't want to fly the jet down all that way empty, thus I was looking for a job which was at least heading that way, so as to not completely waste fuel going there empty; that's when I saw there was a job from Almeria to Casablanca, hence the thread title of course. so here we are, turning left onto 235 degrees, after coming off runway 8 at Almeria, to head acros…
