The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

A while ago, I'd purchased the airport scenery (Casablanca) from the Aerosoft website, but had never got to install and use it. My interest in it was revived recently and fortuitously...when, during one of my recent (domestic) air-travels (see my previous two posts), the taxi driver who brought me from O'Hare to the suburbs...happened to be a Moroccan from the city of Casablanca...talkative fellow...who told me interesting bits about his hometown Casablanca...and, of course, about the classic film that immortalized the airport, along with the film's famous line, "Here's looking at you, kid"...🙂... So, justifiably, the introductory paragraph of this (FSDG) Casablanca …

I've been a L39 fan since the Lotus version back in FSX. It was a ground-breaking addon, with some awesome lighting effects that no developer had ever done. The model was gorgeous along with the sounds and systems operation. It even included RXP GNS430W support. It was definitely one of my most-flown addons. So with the release of the Reno Races aircraft I decided to spend the 10 USD on just one of them. The L39 and P51's interested me the most so for now I've settled on Red Thunder livery from the L39 pack. I was torn between this, Tumbling Goose, and Pipsqueak (I see all the record holders in the sim use that one lol). Knowing that Working Title will be giving t…

I posted another thread about Reno having trees in the race area of the whole course looking like Yellowstone. Taking my own advice I looked at videos of other simmers flying the Reno Air Race mod from Asobo and it looked normal like the real airport. So now I've realized like with Sedona I have a conflict somewhere with another mod adding extra trees to the area where there shouldn't be. My next option will be to remove the seasonal mod I have in place for the winter. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear about any mod that adds trees to various areas. Thanks in advance.

During my last (RW) trip to/from Chicago O'Hare (please see my previous post), I'd travelled in an United Airlines A319. While taxiing within O'Hare, I'd spotted airlines such as Cathay Pacific, ANA, Lufthansa, and Austrian etc. for which I'd shown a few virtual images. These airlines are all well-known and familiar to us. However, liveries/airlines, unknown/unfamiliar, whether, encountered in our virtual world or in the real world, are also fascinating, and even more so, (where did/do they exist, who do/did they serve, and what happened to them etc...?). In our virtual world, when we come across a repainter's image of an unknown airline livery, it's sometimes difficult t…
