The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

A fairly long-ish flight from me in a slower aircraft. L70 Agua Dulce to Reid-Hillview KRHV (last time I approached from the north). And an updated C182 which works much better. Flight planned about 130 true but serious headwinds kept me from cruising much above 100 knots. I started at 10k but climbed to 12k due to turbulence. We finished with the RNAV 31R into RHV. Please enjoy some of these views as I progress over Gorman, Avenal (near the Wonderful Pistachios company airport 2CN4), Paso Robles, Salinas, and land just in the outskirts of San Jose CA. Also staring Vincent's wonderful L70 freeware scenery! And a shameless plug for some color swap liveries …

It's a fairly short haul in my little Cirrus Vision jet. I've left Chicago Exec bound for Wisconsin Rapids, WI for a weekend with the fam. I like this simple yet striking livery. Nothing spectacular here, still been playing with my graphics settings. Pretty much there now, I think. Happened to be thinking about Boise and knew I'd got a copy of this but didn't remember much about it so went for a nose round.Looks like a nice setting and I will come back and explore more. Meantime, just a few shots around the airport and surrounds Some weird stuff going on with the "ground" levels in the river over there, but the airport looks good The PG was a bit ropey if I got much closer. Expecting to get Gbit broadband in place in the next few weeks (finally) so be interested to see if that makes a difference …

Just got the BMW/AMsim KMEM off the Orbx site (would have preferred elsewhere but dosn't seem to be available anywhere else). At the higher end of the price range these days but I'm happy to support the BMW guy (guys?). Just a quick couple of shots as part of my graphics tests, so nothing terribly arty. Nice looking tower, but I guess it must be Elvis's Birthday or something - looks like everybody's taken the day off Apart from the occasional really bad PG, the one thing that really spoils the look of MSFS is the 'kin bridges. Wonder if they'll ever get that sorted? I do regularly find myself paying pretty serious money for packages of m…

Made a couple of changes to my graphic settings, wanted to check things out somewhere that was fresh in my memory. Also, just had a minor hiccup with AIG and wanted to check it was ok again now. Looks ok - KORD obviously a bit busy first thing in the morning. Lots of folk heading for the runway where I'm sitting blocking the takeoff - guess I'd better get going So a quick circuit and now I'm heading back to KORD, coming in low over downtown I was checking to see the sharpness of the images And while I was out of the plane with the dronecam I noticed that there seemed to be a floor with interior modelling in the Sears Tower (only found ou…

About 60 Km SthWest from the Philippines Capital Manilla are some Tropical Beach resorts and the little Carabao Island. Coordinates of the area: S14.250 - E120.605. Available via 'flightsim.to' is the area made vivid but needs a lot of extra libraries to bring the whole to life. Hereby some shots of this area best to discover in a Heli or in a Seaplane:

\ Left KESN, Easton Maryland, for KCMI, Chaimpaign-Urbana, Illinois. This just north of KIAD, near Washington, DC. What did I do? Overflying KIAD and looks like they have scrambled after me! Count them! Nine (9) below, all on the same vector! What in the world? I am nearing FL300 on the way to 360! I had an IFR clearance! And I squalked the correct transponder code! Checked several news sources and can find no explanation! LOL! Fortunately, whoever they were they kept flying north, so later I pretty much had the skies to myself over southern Ohio!

Like so many other places around the world, this city Kiel is with the sceneries found on flightsim.to so nicely detailed that it is really fun to explore it low and slow For the navy Kiel is the German version of San Diego, albeit on a much smaller scale The Laboe Naval Memorial, completed in 1936, serves as a memorial for the sailors of all nationalities who were lost at sea. The type VII submarine U-995 is the world's only remaining Type VII U-boat and houses a technical museum Thanks for viewing

This second leg is from SAWE, Rio Grande, Argentina to SAWG, Rio Gallegos, Argentina. It's interesting to see the coastline and terrain change as I meander my way north. Usually it's just miles and miles of miles and miles but quite fun.

Midwinter twilight flying in the Great White North: Edmonton to Yellowknife. Loved seeing ice fog from the extremely low temperature accurately reflected around the city on arrival (sadly, not shown in these shots).
