Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Continuing this short sightseeing trip. About 50-60 km north and turning out to follow the coastline. Haifa in front of us Haifa and its port ahead Acre ahead of us. A place that probably ought to have a sign on the approach that says "Acre welcomes careful invaders", as it's been fought over so many times over the centuries. And moving further up the coast, there's the border with Lebanon below us Not somewhere I spend much time! Sidon below us now And that, apparently, is the Saida Football Stadium. Wonder if they've kicked any balls into the sea and lost 'em Slight turn now towards Beirut Coming up o…

Second part. A look around Tel Aviv and the area around the airport, then off we go. At the end of the first part, our AI friend had taken off and here he is heading off over the city towards the coast And this is the view back to the airport from the edge of the city where he's flying From Wiki - "Tel Aviv-Yafo (Hebrew: תֵּל־אָבִיב-יָפוֹ, romanized: Tēl-ʾĀvīv-Yāfō [tel aˈviv ˈjafo]; Arabic: تَلّ أَبِيب – يَافَا, romanized: Tall ʾAbīb-Yāfā), often referred to as just Tel Aviv, is the most populous city in the Gush Dan metropolitan area of Israel. Located on the Israeli Mediterranean coastline and with a population of 460,613, it is the economic and technological…

I stayed the night in Cascade Locks - and then departed to Goldendale. The TAF showed clearing skies for the evening which is exactly what I was hoping for. Goldendale has a really nice observatory for star gazing. Please enjoy the second leg of my flight in the Blackbird Beaver. Thought I'd head to the Middle East for the next trip. Out of Ben Gurion and up the coast to Beirut, in the freeware Bombardier G6000 ( https://flightsim.to/file/35553/bombardier-global-6000-e-11a). Lots of pix, so I'm doing four posts - first one here is my now customary exploration of the airport with full AIG AI running. I am so impressed with this piece of software. I see that JustFlight's Global Traffic has just come out, and I'll probably end up getting a copy just to see how it looks, but I am in no rush for it now, and it was one of those packages I was really keen to get hold of. Love it on XP, but I can't imagine how it could better AIG for my purposes (which ar…

KDFW is a little gem in MSFS. I'm guessing it may only be in the premium edition, but it's pretty impressive. I picked it at random for a flight and found myself thinking "I don't remember buying this airport" - I seem to remember having it in P3D, but when I checked this is an Asobo airport, and it's about 1.5 Gb in the official folder, so obviously a lot of work has gone into it. I shall go back and explore more later. Saw the Aerosoft E170 on SimMarket and remembered I have one of those (the VirtualCol version) and thought I'd dig that out and use it. Not terribly wonderful, but it'll probably do for me. Houston seemed reasonably close by, so I thought I'd head th…

It seems like Brazil's coastline goes on forever. I have dozens of shots to post still and even yesterday in a Boeing BBJ at 1500 feet and flying hundreds of miles I'm still not out of Brazil I have a world globe in my office and wall maps and like to follow my progress and it'll start to get more interesting near Panama and very dense in the USA but that's still long way off. I hope I didn't bite off more than I can chew. SSGB, Guaratuba, Brazil, to SDAG, Angra Dos Reis, Brazil.

I decided to buy the KTDW airport from INIBuilds and was pleasantly surprised. This is yet another 1/3 fuel, zero payload, out and back hand flown round Robin as a test. At first I kept the weather on as I love overcast then I changed it to no weather. Departing for the out and back. https://imgur.com/RgnCMPP

I'll skip over the bulk of the flight (I was doing this manually and just whacked the sim rate right up once I got away from Dallas), so we're now heading in to Houston. The city and surrounds look interesting, so this is another place I'll come back and explore more, probably in a chopper. I was quite close before I came out of speeded-up-sim mode, so we really are heading in to KHOU at this point I do quite like the lines on this thing Amazingly, a fairly neat landing for me, and not even a bounce. Give me a couple more years and I'll get the hang of this! Even pretty much on the centre line. And that really is unusual. …

I'm flying two legs today - but only have time for screenshots for one at the moment. I'm flying the DHC2 from Portland, OR to Goldendale, WA with a stop in Cascade Locks State airport. I really love this livery and it wouldn't be unheard of for a Canuck to be down in these parts so please enjoy this flight up the beautiful Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Don't be afraid to fly VFR out of Portland - the controllers don't bite Untitled-1 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled-2 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Grabbed a transition from Troutdale (remember all you need is two way radio comms with the tower to enter the class Delta) Unti…

Decided to take the PC12 out and up to height, 28,000 in this instance and where else but some nice high mountainous area like the top of the world. Approaching VNLK after having dropped height and still dropping speed. I's a tiny little landing strip, no go around here. And on the ground (with a thump - need more practice...). Nice panoramic shot coming into the parking area. There's always cats.. or dogs 🙂 Hard to believe the original airport as compared to that of today (pic taken in 1977 - credit Cliff Bancroft). And another from 1964 (credit Jim Fisher). …

Ok, a bit of messing around but finally a semi-reasonable attempt in the not-much-loved CS B777 in Fedex colours out of Memphis. Planned to head down to N'Awlins to pick up a plane load of gumbo, didn't quite work entirely as planned but I'll continue with the experiment. Thing is, as I've said before, I'm not really interested in all the piloting stuff. I just want to gawp at the scenery and take pretty pictures. So I've never bothered to get into the whole flight plans, programming the FMC and using AP thing. I did get a very nice and easy to follow word not allowed's guide on how to do so from @Chock a while back (and what a very helpful and friendly gesture that …

Still following the absolutely long coastline of Brazil, part two. 293 miles between SSGB, Guaratuba, Brazil, to SDAG, Angra Dos Reis, Brazil. Yesterday I used my real-world Jeppesen maps to try to navigate but this sim has some very serious limitations versus P3D. It has almost none of the VOR's and ADF's so it was basically flown using the lousy drop-down map.
