The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Just got Rob Richardson's new Whirlwind. Absolutely wonderful beast. I always liked this aircraft. To me it is somehow both beautiful and brutal at the same time. Very, very happy to have it available for MSFS. Last good one I had was for FSX, and that never even really worked for P3D, and I couldn't get it to port over to MSFS at all, so when I heard Rob was doing this version I was over the proverbial moon. Just had a quick flight up along the Medway in Kent. Looks and sounds wonderful. Don't ask me about flight models - I don't know squat about that stuff and I don't care - but for me (with all my flight settings at "easy") it behaved beautifully. No issues on tak…

these are for @John F - a few (old) shots of Orbx's Mumbai. Not one of their best efforts, I feel, but as you said in my other post, you don't see much of Mumbai in the sim. These were taken about 18 months ago so on an older system and not up to my current spec. I'll probably take another pass around there soon anyway but as I had these I thought I'd post them. Enjoy!

Actually, two arrivals. First one coming in from the west, but overflying the city and turning in to come in from the seaward side And then - No idea what happened. Suddenly the aircraft just went all over the shop and ditched. Now I understand that phrase "better to travel than arrive". So went back and tried again. This time from landside. Reasonably clean landing (for me) but didn't have a lot of room left by the time I managed to stop. I think I need to re-calibrate my pedals. I finally managed to make Aurora Borealis work in my sim. How did I do it? With Scruffy Duck Effects editor in which I increased substantially the lifetime of all effects. With some photoshop I made it look ravishing. Enjoy, people.

Hello to the screenshot forum! I am Pavlin, I fly Prepar3D. So, right now doing flight from San Francisco KSFO to Frankfurt am Main EDDF! United Airlines new livery, QualityWings 787-10. Here's my Departure: I have ORBX True Earth here, in North California, but due to my recently very weak graphics card I am trying to avoid high level of detail. So, OpenLC North America is in action, some nice Mo-Vision Sky Textures, RDPresets Tomato Shade, Reshade INIBuilds and my own custom water texture. Also Envshade my own preset based on Pascal sky improvements. I have installed Parallel 42 Immersion effects. And Turbine sound studios engine sound, nvm no…

France only today...not Germany, not the Netherlands, nor Belgium...just France. Btw this is the Version 1.3 upgrade, the release date was not really announced but it came out last week. Hopefully, you enjoyed these images, your commentary is greatly appreciated...Darryl
