The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Was reminded of this fine beast today. Available on Sim OutHouse, a fine piece of freeware from Rob Richardson, and well worth getting hold of. Just a few shots heading out from KFHR and over the surrounding (rather wonderful) area.

Wasn't initially planning to grab any screenies for this, so missed the intial few mins at and around EKCH. Wanted to check out Prague (or should that be Czech out Prague?) and just thought Copenhagen might be a reasonable starting point. Copenhagen was somewhere I spent a lot of time in my teaching days, so I have fond memories of the place and I'll have to go back with the drone and see if I can identify/recognise much. Using the business jet variant of the A318. Don't like the livery much but the interior is fun. So already in the air in the first shot a bit of water to get across first and after making landfall, here we are. Somewhere. Not sure whe…

Last part - arrival at OLBA, Beirut, and a brief look around the airport and surrounds. One last headland to pass and in the distance, just about visible at the top of the screen, is OLBA. Touch down. No barf bags required this time (unlike my recent Houston arrival) Not an addon-on airport, and not a special one in the sim either, so a bit basic but that's where AIG makes all the difference - it feels like somewhere with a bit of life so just a quick look around the airport and the city itself. After all, we came all this way . . Another sprawling sort of place Seems like everyone here buys the sa…

This is all your fault - @pmplayer Once I get a hankering for a plane or bit of scenery, it's only a question of time. DIdn't hold out for long this time though! So here we are in a wintry CYVR, in my shiny new MD-11. Happy to say it came up nicely hot-started on the runway, and took off and flew ok without having to wade through a manual or even a readme. Which is what I want from a plane. As an aside, I've just downloaded an update for the FlyingIron Spitfire, and having looked at the changes, which apparently make it much more realistic (or "difficult" as I like to think of it) to control, I may install it but I will certainly keep the older version to hand as wel…

Today I dusted off the Aerosoft Twin Otter and went for a short one hour flight in the Canadian Arctic from Iqaluit (CYFB) to Pangnirtung (CYXP). It's a beautiful day up there with clear skies and light cloud for the one hour flight. Temperature was a little chilly though, -35C on the ground at CYXP. Here are a couple of shots after touchdown at Pangnirtung. I would imagine the cliff you can see behind me would make for some interesting wind conditions on final...winds were pretty calm today. I have to say I quite enjoyed flying the Twotter, it has come a long way since release and I'll be making a point of getting some more hours in it. …

Just checking it out to see if I want to buy the Bridges addon (probably will) but grabbed these in passing In the sunshine - and with a light dusting of snow (or possibly ash or cement dust - wasn't particular impressed with the look of this) - Definitely one of my targets for a fuller exploration.
