The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Inspired by @Alaska738 I got myself a couple of Alaskan airports. Not a big fan of mountains and snow and the like, but figured I'd give it a go. Just a few quick shots from around PANC. Eventually got going and once in the air decided to head for PAVD. I remember that as a really nice bit of ORBX scenery back in the P3D days, doesn't seem to be any sign of it coming for MSFS though (but then ORBX seems to have gone right down the Thomas Cr*pper in recent years). Shame, but maybe someone else will do it. Anyway, PANC looks good, and it was interesting to see how much activity there was there in AIG. Interesting light up here This looked better in …

Thought I'd see how KORD and the whole Chicago thing went on the new box with full AIG and the LVFR A318. Well pleased to see the A318 arrive, definitely a fave for me. I like's em stubby. All went pretty well, couple of pauses but generally pretty smooth and up in the 45 fps region. Hopefully, after almost a year of faffing around, BT are going to finally get me on to full FTTP (gbit broadband) in a few weeks time so I'm hoping that will smooth out the remaining occasional niggles. Anyway, a few shots around KORD with the stands pretty much occupied courtesy of AIG lots of traffic flying around as well - caught this guy up overhead One of my litt…

I've always wanted to do this in the sim. I started out at the southern tip of South America and am flying north along the coast all the way to northern Canada. By helicopter so I can stop and see the sights. Yesterday I flew for about 90 minutes and it was one of the most relaxing things I've done in these trying times. I stopped at SAWE which is Rio Grande airport.

Getting back into the sim again after a new build and a period of dissatisfaction with SU9/10. Had been getting my new system set up from scratch, and discovered that my previous AIG setup didn't seem to want to work when copied across from my old system. So after a day or two messing around I did a clean uninstall/reinstall and reloaded everything (all the flightplans) and thought I'd try it all out at the new (v3) EGLL and see how the new PC dealt with it. And the answer is - very nicely, thank you. Lots of traffic, both parked and arriving/departing, the airport is great, and I'm getting anything between 30 - 50 fps without hardly any stutteriing now. Also install…

Hey Folks, Just sharing a couple of "Opps" pics where things didn't quite go to plan... Opps #1 So I'm flying along in my C182 - when I start to lower the flaps for landing and there was a bang. Just managed to put it down without crashing, although it was quite the struggle with a broken flap on one side. Lesson... must not misstreat the flaps and also do more inspections heh 🙂 Opps #2 Had been flying my modded 690B Commander, also a great plane to fly, quite fast but fortunately easy to slow down. I'd been flight testing a new auto cabin pressurisation gauge function I'd written, along with having added …

Some of the Carenado default Skylane paints are decent but I wanted some more options. All are dynamic (changeable) registration. They are just swaps for the most part - they're not from scratch - I won't take credit for that - Carenado's are too hard for me generally (though I did do a few Bonanza and D17S ones). Three are up now but flightsim.to has a max upload limit of 3 per hour so I will not get to the others tonight. Hope you enjoy and perhaps it will make you Skylane flights just a little more worthwhile. My profile with all my paints and files: https://flightsim.to/profile/ryanbatc Perhaps this reminds you of the incredible - and from scrat…
