The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

It's duplicatable. This livery is supposedly 8K, I got it from .TO. Everything was fine for several minutes then bam, CTD. I removed the livery and the sim runs fine.

  2. Started by Rogen,

I remember the disaster movie 2012 about a flood enveloping the world due to plate tectonics and shifting. An interesting movie featuring an Antonov 500 that met a fate of destruction, although the 500 was a fictional plane, it was based upon the Antonov 225, which unfortunately also met a fate of destruction. But it lives on in the various sims, this being the P3D version with shots taken at various locations. Cheers

  3. The largest transport aircraft is the Antonov 225 with an incredible load capacity of 225 Metric Ton. The only complete build plane was detroyed at his home base, the Antonov assembly factory at the Hostomel Airport near Kiev during the first days of the war in Ukraine. Now one year later the plans are to build a simular one as the Mrija with the surviving parts and the partly assembled 2nd never completed plane thanks to investments and gifts to encourage the brave Ukrain engineers to complete this mission. You can buy the fine modelled from Inibuild via the MSFS-Marketplace and in that way you contribute to the build-plan of the simular plane. Hereby an overview while l…

I had the Bf 108 by Classics Hangar in FSX/P3D and I loved it, so it was a no brainer, when it was recently released for MSFS by Inibuilds. It’s such a nice plane to fly. The famous “Hole in the Rock” Thanks for viewing

  6. We're starting to see glowing comments re weather/clouds/scenery from not only XP fans but a few regular MSFS users starting to or committing to moving to XP12. I think it's time to provide a place to showcase each sim's visuals where they can be compared easily, and clearly visuals are hugely important to most sim users. PLEASE refrain from ANY comments re one sim over the other--let the screenshots speak for themselves--thanks I'll start with a few from MSFS Venizia, Italy: Medellin, Colombia: Somewhere, don't recall where: San Jose, Costa Rica (MROC) Sophia, Bulgaria at night: Kansas City, Missouri:

Spotter at the fenceline photographing the departure from LFKX: Attending the casualty: Broken leg from having slipped. While clearly late for ski season (chairlifts empty, not enough snow cover & too much grass), seems recklessly early for hiking: Descending down off the mountains: Typical early morning mist at LFLB, therefore last stretch of medevac to hospital by road. HPG H145 using the AirlandFS module and the HPG Action Pack expansion. A lot of fun just getting used to heli flying and some fantastic mountain scenery in glorious winter sunshine (until the last bit).

VisualXP has had a few updates since I last posted images, and boy, was I in for a treat! I have just got AutoOrtho working with XP12, and I am using the lighting and cloud effects in VisualXP. I have spent a few hours tweaking the settings and I now have this - some of the most realistic lighting and cloud effects I have ever seen in a simulator.
