The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.
  1. Started by WingZ,

Survived the latest sim update, it appears! However, last week, Milford Sound was verdant green. Today: I quite missed the helipad in the snow flurry 🙂 The fiord itself seems to have frozen over, not really too frequent an occurrence I believe.

Hi simmers 😃 First real long flight with the 787-8 after some time testing before, this 787-8 uses the B78XH mod and it does work well, some more love should be done with the flight model but it isn`t that bad, very flyable for me.. Flightplan: IFR 787-8_Queen Alia International Airport (OJAI) to Islamabad International (OPIS) RW28R - Flighttime 4h.. If you want to see the shots in the best resolution then please click on the picture !! cheers 😉

  6. Hi, As a habit, I take a few screenshots of every flight I do and I am continually stunned by the jaw dropping things I see around the world. Here's 20 examples of why we keep doing this. Enjoy.

  8. A quick look around BMW/AmSim's KPHX. I really like it, but for some reason I can't seem to find the internal scene they have in their blurb. All my terminals are just blank, non-interiors. Still, the external model looks excellent and I wanted a proper KPHX so I'm well pleased with it. So a quick look around the airport, then a quick circuit. In the Honda Jet with the "futuristic" paintjob, which I also really like Don't know why, but this appealed to me Blue sky and bright light seems appropriate for Phoenix (although the first time I went there it snowed. First time in 40 years apparently) I remember getting off the plane after who knows h…

P_7878 with his posting about the Herons in Oz reminded me of the long gone Butler Airways a NSW Australia based airline started by Arthur Butler (Yorkshireman) who lost his company to Ansett. All of these screenshots were taken of models available and eminently flyable in P3DV5 and FSX. It is a little potted history of Butler. 14. The Polish pilot Lukasz Czepiela succeeded in his attempt to land on the small helipad(diameter=27mtr) at the famous 6* Hotel Burj Al Arab in Dubai. Airborned from the Skydive airstrip OMDU in Carbon Cub Crafter, made as light as possible(empty=425Kg) for a thrilling landing on the platform 220mtr ASL. I replicated this flight virtual and after many attempts I also succeeded to perform this flight, hereby some shots of it. Dubai-scenery pack is from Orbx. You can reed and see the real attempt via follow website: Bullseye Landing: Luke Czepiela lands on Burj Al Arab (redbull.com) The normal use…

Heading out from S60, one of the seaplane strips supplied with the Clipper. Now that I've gotten used to getting it into the air (thanks @Scorpio47) I can see some useful exploring/posing ahead. Seattle in the background, planning to head up towards Vancouver This thing is a bit slow though, and I didn't have time to push on to CYVR (another time), so just put it down after about 20 minutes Powered down and anchored Time to have a look round the aircraft I like the look of the interior And then I thought - "I wonder . . ." And yep, the wing passages are modelled! Even with an extinguisher…

  23. This seems to have generated a bit of heat elsewhere here, but I quite like it. It's a bit fussy to get off the water, and on my first attempt so far I had to "teleport" into the air in the end (in spite of actually reading the manual). I'll try again, more slowly, but if in the end I have to keep on doing that so be it. I'm simply not interested in f*rting around pretending to push buttons and set switches just to get my pretend aircraft off the ground (water). But I do like the aircraft, so I won't just park it in the hangar. It'll look good in all sorts of locations, and that's what I want out of this. (oh, and I just bought a couple more Captain Sim things in their we…
