Janet VA would like to welcome all flightsimming enthusiasts to our revamped website. @ www.janetva.org.Janet VA is the online incarnation of Janet Airlines, a little known airline based at Las Vegas' McCarran Airport in Las Vegas. Their terminal is located mere blocks away from the famous Las Vegas strip and their planes are a simple white fuselage with a red stripe running from nose to tail. The airline shuttles government workers to and from Area51 at Groom Lake and flies from Las Vegas, Palmdale, San Francisco Bay area, Area51, and many other MOA's.Likewise Janet VA flies to these destinations as well as others. Group flights are scheduled regularly especially on Frid…

Ok, so this is really really sad. I am unable to open http://www.fseforums.com on any computer in my house. What could be the problem? I originally thought maybe it was a DNS issue, but if I ping the site the ip address resolves no problem.I have tried on a Windows Vista computer with both IE 7 and Firefox and I have tried on two Windows XP computers with IE 7, IE 6 and Firefox. Any ideas on what the problem could be? I can get to http://www.fseconomy.com with no problems, but I can't get to the forums.I really need to get to the forums so I can post an error I am getting trying to download the FSE Client for FSX. This is truly a sad day.

Greetings, I am introducing to the flight sim community Hellfire Virtual airline. As you can already see, it's not a real world airline, however it is run as such. We try to be as professional as what you would find if you went to Vatsim or IVAO. Hellfire has also established several affiliates since it's launch early this month. The majority of the website is ready and working correctly. I am currently working on the fleet which includes, but not limited to:Cessna 182S (for training purposes only)Dehavilland Dash 8Learjet 45 (FS9 has this default)MD-83Boeing 707 (I use the captain sim)Boeing 727 (I use the captain sim)Boeing 737 (FS9 has this default)Boeing 747 (FS9 …

I got tired of Virtual Airline owners being treated like second rate members at some of the other forums so I've decided to do something about it.As of today www.vaworld.org is live. This is a forum dedicated to all virtual airlines...not combat simmers, not add-on developers or scenery designers. Strictly Virtual Airlines. Personally I don't consider any military operation a Virtual Airline by defination, so this is for civilian airlines only. That's not to say if you're doing a government owned airline such as Cubana you can't be included, only that military organizations are not recognised.Right now it's just a messege board. As we grow we aill add other features. The …

Can anyone help me get started on making a virtual airline cause this is my first attempt.

  17. Let me start off by thanking all of you who attended our Cowboy Breakfast event on April 21. You did not go un-noticed. We appreciate everyone who came in to AUS and SAT for that and definetly plan to have it again next year. Not long after the event, we at TexAir decided to have a little spring cleaning session. Our airline was in some need of a cleanup. It is my pleasure to announce that tonight the dust pan and broom have been put away to reveal our new operations. It's the same iterim website, but with a brand new attitude and schedule. Our schedule was adjusted to be more realistic and logical. Yes, we still have international service, however it has been drastically…

Alaska Virtual, www.alaskavirtual.aero, is a virtual airline based on the real Alaska Airlines with the full knowlege of its real world counterpart. Alaska Virtual was founded a year ago by a group of pilots looking for a professionally run Alaska virtual airline. Without success of finding one, they decided to start their own.Alaska Virtual is based on operations of the real Alaska Airlines, Horizon Air, and Era Aviation. We provide a variety of tools to make the pilot's time at Alaska professional, enjoyable, and above all fun. These tools include an automated PIREP system which is FSPassengers supported, a fully automated website, an easy to use flight search function,…

Greetings...I am looking into the possibility of creating a new VA that is focused more on corporate turboprop twins and smaller aircraft. A lot of time and research has gone into the plans for this project at this point, and the VA will focus on realism and model real world operations as closely as possible with a limited fleet, modeled virtual budget (which includes operating costs, salaries (for expenses sake only), maintenance of aircraft, and facility expenditures), automated flight dispatch and manifests, and as well as other features. What I'm looking for at this point is twofold.First, if such a VA organization would have appeal in the community large enough to und…

Single package (web hosting only), or maybe just a standalone server?Any input from yourselfs would be a great help to me.RegardsBen
