I see there's about 12 virtual Southwest Airlines. I've applied to many of them and for some reason, none of them ever respond. Can someone point me to a Southwest VA who actually is current and responds to membership requests? MSFS2020 Thanks. AG

Hello everyone, Like many of the posts here, I'm looking for a virtual airline (VA). I've partially found what I was looking for with A Pilot's Life 2, but I feel like something is still missing. Back in the day, I used to fly with FsPassengers, and the in-depth end-of-flight reports and analyses were very valuable to me. Today, I want to push for more realism and get involved with a company that has high standards. The idea is that I don't want to arrive and be able to fly a 777 between Paris and NYC on my very first flight, for example. So my question is simple: in your opinion, what is the most realistic VA out there today? See you in the sky, …

https://solarisva.org/ Since the mid-1980s, flight simulation enthusiasts have explored platforms ranging from Sublogic’s early offerings to Microsoft’s iconic simulators, through Prepar3D, X-Plane 11, and now MSFS 2020. Many have joined virtual airlines (VAs) along the way, yet some found these organizations lacked a vital element: a sense of community. In 2018, Solaris Air was founded to fill this gap, with a mission to combine realistic flight operations with a strong, vibrant social environment for pilots. At its core, Solaris Air is more than just a VA—it is a community of flight simulation enthusiasts who connect, learn, and share their passion. A k…

I have over 500 hours on VATSIM, with advanced rating, looking to join virtual airline with maximum emphasis on realism. Checkrides, SOPs, real routes, real-life pilots etc. etc. I would like to progress from CRJ to A220 to A320, flying regional and short- to medium-haul US routes based out of East Coast. I am trying to decide between deltava.org , united-virtual.com and vacanada.org. All three has been around for long time, emphasizing SOPs and checkrides. All three use CRJ and A320. Delta has the largest route network, has A220 (which I am interested in) and seems to be most active. United is similar, offers VATSIM hours credit toward seniority and mos…

vHarbour Air is a new virtual airline inspired by real-world floatplane carriers operating throughout the Pacific Northwest. We're currently looking for new pilots to build out our roster! About vHarbour Air vHarbour Air replicates the dynamism and challenge of large-scale, float-equipped charter operations. Most of our flights will be low-level VFR hops between coastal communities, eco-tourist destinations, and downtown cores such as Victoria, Vancouver, and Seattle. While we maintain realistic standards and routing, we aim to foster a relaxed, welcoming environment where both casual bush pilots and experienced simmers can enjoy the ride. VATSIM use is highly e…

Hi there, I have started to get back into flight sims recently. I've always been into sim games and a couple years ago, I got into DCS World for a year or so before dropping it. I also played a fair bit of FSX back in the day but haven't played FS2020 at all. I have been playing MSFS2024 ALOT since launch and found the OnAir Company career mode addon good for casual play with my friends. Now I am at the point of wanting to find people with a bit more serious mindset. I have found this application called FlyLat which looks pretty cool. It allows VAs to work towards new planes for the fleet by completing flights, there some AI management as well as planned integra…

Hello, With my limited imagination skills with design and only full potential in back-end web/software programming, I'm looking for someone who can provide Web UI/UX Services for an upcoming virtual airline; the timeline will be within this year for a potential launch. I ask this because I do not want to use pre-built templates, as I want a customized, unique UI/UX for the VA. There are no tight timeline restrictions or so. Of course, I would be willing to negotiate costs to start with. If it goes well, there may be a possibility of extending into a position with the virtual airline with a volunteer position if you wish! Please private message me if you're able …

I'm currently building and developing a new VA with an in-house custom system and ACARS. I have been pondering this question for a quite a while, and I would like to get input from the Flight Simulator Community here. What do you look for a VA? - Example such as flexibility, flying just for one airline, or multiple airlines? I'm all open for discussion as I'm curious on what Flight Simulators Community users are after when looking for a VA. Thanks all in advance!

I'm looking for a VA that allows me to fly any aircraft, anywhere. So if i want to fly a Qantas A320 from Perth to Christmas Island/Cocos Island even though Qantas don't fly that route, is there a VA which will give me the leeway to do that. I've seen AirSource, would the above be an option within that VA. Thanks.

Wondering if there's a way to use SIM_ACARS with other VA software. Unfortunately, the SIM_ACARS creator has retired. Their site's forum is also closed (no way to register and ask there). Are there instructions anywhere to achieve this? Has anybody else done it that is willing to share the information? Appreciate your help.

Born from the frustration of being a Mac user and not having an ACAR's system for many of the VA's or been trapped into a monthly subscription I decided to set up a new VA and support us Mac users with an ACAR's system. The VA is now live and I have a working pre-alpha ACAR's system for anyone using a Mac and X-Plane. Other FS pilots are welcome as well and we do have the traditional ACAR's system for them. Launching initially in New Zealand and Australia and surrounds and expanding out based on the feedback of our pilots. To celebrate the launch we also have a special new tour going around New Zealand starting at Auckland and down the east coast and then b…

Realistic but fun is our motto. The possibility of occurring literally anything once a pilot report for a flight duty, is a reality which requires an endless amount of information to be included in flight operations manuals, an endless amount of studying and continuous training. This unfortunately is one of the stressful and less fun parts of being an aircraft, and especially, an airline pilot. Here at Air Luso Virtual, we pledge to offer the most possible realistic flight operations (within the confines of flight simming), where all of the intricacies of normal operations are accurately simulated in every aspect without having to deal with complex aircraft system failure…
