	<strong>Join the United States Virtual Air Force (USVAF) - Shaping the Future of Virtual Military Aviation! (PC Only)</strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Are you a passionate PC-based flight sim enthusiast with a love for military aviation? Do you dream of flying challenging missions, coordinating with fellow pilots, and experiencing the thrill of realistic military operations? Then the United States Virtual Air Force (USVAF) is looking for YOU!
</p>

<p>
	We're building a realistic and immersive virtual military aviation experience from the ground up.  Currently in the development phase, we're laying the foundation for an virtual air force based on the USAF. This means we're not quite operational yet (expecting to launch in about a month), but it also means you have the opportunity to be a part of something special from the very beginning!
</p>

<p>
	<strong>What USVAF Offers:</strong>
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		<strong>Dedicated VAM and ACARS System:</strong> Our Virtual Airline Management (VAM) and Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) are already in place, and we're actively fine-tuning and customizing them for optimal performance and realism.
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Realistic Procedures and Documentation:</strong> We're committed to creating a structured and immersive, yet enjoyable, environment.  A comprehensive set of documents and procedures is under development, with more planned.
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Focus on Teamwork and Camaraderie:</strong> We believe that the best virtual experiences are shared experiences. We're building a community where pilots can connect, learn from each other, and fly together.
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Future IVAO Partnership:</strong> Our long-term goal is to become an officially recognized Special Operation Group within IVAO. This will unlock incredible opportunities for realistic military operations, including air-to-air refueling, MOA operations, and interaction with live ATC.  This requires a solid foundation within USVAF, and we're dedicated to achieving that.
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>A Realistic and Extensive Fleet:</strong> We intend on having a realistic fleet based on the USAF. This includes, but is **not** limited to, F-22s, F-16s, F-15s, A-10s, HH-60s, V-22s, C-130s, KC-135s, KC-46s, C-17s, B-1s, and B-52s.
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	<strong>We're Looking for Dedicated Staff:</strong>
</p>

<p>
	We're currently seeking motivated individuals to fill key staff positions, including:
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		<strong>MAJCOM Commanders (AMC, ACC, AETC):</strong> If you have leadership experience and a passion for managing and training virtual pilots, we need you! Lower staff positions, such as Wing Commanders and Squadron Leaders may be available, however due to the early stage of development, these may be filled at a later date.
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Other Administrative Positions:</strong> Depending on your skills and experience, other administrative roles may be available. We're open to discussing how you can contribute to the USVAF.
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	<strong>What USVAF Expects:</strong>
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		<strong>Patience and Dedication:</strong> USVAF is in development, and while we're working diligently towards our launch, we require individuals who understand this process and are willing to contribute and wait for our official launch.  Currently, the development team is small, making your contributions even more significant. Don't let this early stage deter you – your contributions will be instrumental in shaping the future of USVAF!
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Collaborative Spirit:</strong> We're building this together. Your input and ideas are valuable.
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Genuine Interest in Military Aviation:</strong> A passion for military flight is essential. While extensive prior knowledge is not strictly required, it is certainly a plus.
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	<strong>How to Apply:</strong>
</p>

<p>
	If you're interested in joining and helping shape USVAF, please contact me (details below).  Include a bit about yourself, your flight sim experience, what you're looking for in a virtual military air force, and what you can bring to USVAF.

	Hello everyone,
</p>

<p>
	Like many of the posts here, I'm looking for a virtual airline (VA). I've partially found what I was looking for with A Pilot's Life 2, but I feel like something is still missing. Back in the day, I used to fly with FsPassengers, and the in-depth end-of-flight reports and analyses were very valuable to me. Today, I want to push for more realism and get involved with a company that has high standards. The idea is that I don't want to arrive and be able to fly a 777 between Paris and NYC on my very first flight, for example.
</p>

<p>
	So my question is simple: in your opinion, what is the most realistic VA out there today?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	See you in the sky,
</p>

<p>
	Alexis.

</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Since the mid-1980s, flight simulation enthusiasts have explored platforms ranging from Sublogic’s early offerings to Microsoft’s iconic simulators, through Prepar3D, X-Plane 11, and now MSFS 2020. Many have joined virtual airlines (VAs) along the way, yet some found these organizations lacked a vital element: a sense of community. In 2018, Solaris Air was founded to fill this gap, with a mission to combine realistic flight operations with a strong, vibrant social environment for pilots.
</p>

<p>
	At its core, Solaris Air is more than just a VA—it is a community of flight simulation enthusiasts who connect, learn, and share their passion. A key feature is its active Discord server, which encourages pilots to interact, support one another, and build friendships. This focus on camaraderie and teamwork has set Solaris Air apart, creating a unique space where pilots can truly feel at home while pursuing their shared interest in virtual aviation.
</p>

<p>
	Over the years, Solaris Air has grown significantly. Starting on the Sim Buddy platform in late 2018, the airline quickly outpaced the system’s limitations and moved to FSAirlines, where it thrived for three years and welcomed over 800 pilots. By the end of 2022, Solaris Air transitioned to vaBase, building a custom website to better serve its members. Today, the airline offers a broad range of opportunities, from scheduled flights across North America and Europe to global cargo operations and private charters. With its massive flight schedule database and strong emphasis on community engagement, Solaris Air continues to attract pilots eager to join a welcoming and dynamic VA.

	I have over 500 hours on VATSIM, with advanced rating, looking to join virtual airline with maximum emphasis on realism. Checkrides, SOPs, real routes, real-life pilots etc. etc. I would like to progress from CRJ to A220 to A320, flying regional and short- to medium-haul US routes based out of East Coast.
</p>

<p>
	I am trying to decide between <strong>deltava.org</strong> ,  <strong>united-virtual.com </strong>and<strong> vacanada.org</strong>. All three has been around for long time, emphasizing SOPs and checkrides. All three use CRJ and A320.
</p>

<p>
	Delta has the largest route network, has A220 (which I am interested in) and seems to be most active.
</p>

<p>
	United is similar, offers VATSIM hours credit toward seniority and most "realistic" for me, since I fly it as passenger in RL. No A220.
</p>

<p>
	Canada Air also has A220 and seems to have the most modern website, but smallest number of routes. It also seems to be more casual (which is a drawback for me).
</p>

<p>
	If someone who has experience with either of those airlines, your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
</p>

	Hi there,
</p>

<p>
	I have started to get back into flight sims recently. I've always been into sim games and a couple years ago, I got into DCS World for a year or so before dropping it. I also played a fair bit of FSX back in the day but haven't played FS2020 at all. I have been playing MSFS2024 ALOT since launch and found the OnAir Company career mode addon good for casual play with my friends. Now I am at the point of wanting to find people with a bit more serious mindset.
</p>

<p>
	I have found this application called FlyLat which looks pretty cool. It allows VAs to work towards new planes for the fleet by completing flights, there some AI management as well as planned integration with ETS2 and ATS and a whole bunch of other features. Its a free software right now but, from my understanding, its going to be free for pilots and paid for VA Owners (correct me if I'm wrong). Its also nice since you start with 200m so you can get a couple bigger planes straight off the bat and not have to work up from a 172 or something.
</p>

<p>
	If anyone has any suggestions on better software with similar features please feel free to suggest them. If you are interested at all, send a message here or on discord, my username is Sebscar.
</p>

<p>
	Thanks a ton,<br />
	Sebastian
</p>

<p>
	PS,
</p>

<p>
	I'm a 23 year old, South African and ok with starting the VA out of anywhere in the world. Thought I should mention that. :D
</p>

<p>
	Hello,
</p>

<p>
	With my limited imagination skills with design and only full potential in back-end web/software programming, I'm looking for someone who can provide Web UI/UX Services for an upcoming virtual airline; the timeline will be within this year for a potential launch. I ask this because I do not want to use pre-built templates, as I want a customized, unique UI/UX for the VA. There are no tight timeline restrictions or so. Of course, I would be willing to negotiate costs to start with. If it goes well, there may be a possibility of extending into a position with the virtual airline with a volunteer position if you wish!
</p>

<p>
	Please private message me if you're able to/interested! If possible, please show/include references of your past work.
</p>

<p>
	Thank you!

<p>
	I'm currently building and developing a new VA with an in-house custom system and ACARS.
</p>

<p>
	I have been pondering this question for a quite a while, and I would like to get input from the Flight Simulator Community here.
</p>

<p>
	<strong><em>What do you look for a VA?</em></strong> - Example such as flexibility, flying just for one airline, or multiple airlines?
</p>

<p>
	I'm all open for discussion as I'm curious on what Flight Simulators Community users are after when looking for a VA.
</p>

<p>
	Thanks all in advance!

<p>
	I'm looking for a VA that allows me to fly any aircraft, anywhere.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	So if i want to fly a Qantas A320 from Perth to Christmas Island/Cocos Island even though Qantas don't fly that route, is there a VA which will give me the leeway to do that.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I've seen AirSource, would the above be an option within that VA.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Thanks.

<p>
	Wondering if there's a way to use SIM_ACARS with other VA software. Unfortunately, the SIM_ACARS creator has retired. Their site's forum is also closed (no way to register and ask there). Are there instructions anywhere to achieve this? Has anybody else done it that is willing to share the information?
</p>

<p>
	Appreciate your help.

<p>
	Born from the frustration of being a Mac user and not having an ACAR's system for many of the VA's or been trapped into a monthly subscription I decided to set up a new VA and support us Mac users with an ACAR's system.
</p>

<p>
	The VA is now live and I have a working pre-alpha ACAR's system for anyone using a Mac and X-Plane. Other FS pilots are welcome as well and we do have the traditional ACAR's system for them.
</p>

<p>
	Launching initially in New Zealand and Australia and surrounds and expanding out based on the feedback of our pilots.
</p>

<p>
	To celebrate the launch we also have a special new tour going around New Zealand starting at Auckland and down the east coast and then back up the West coast ending back at Auckland.
</p>

<p>
	If we do not have a plane of your preference in our fleet just let us know and we will get the investor with deep pockets to cough up the cash for a plane for you and we will expand the fleet according to pilot demand.
</p>

<p>
	To register as a pilot visit <a href="https://va.kneedrag.org/" rel="external nofollow">https://va.kneedrag.org/</a> also be sure to join our Discord where the Mac client is being developed for the latest version. <a href="https://discord.gg/UE4pnZ69Mn" rel="external nofollow">https://discord.gg/UE4pnZ69Mn</a>

<p>
	Look forward to seeing you there.

<p>
	<span style="color:#a52a2a;"><strong>Laridia Airlines</strong></span> spreads its wings in 2023 and will fly over the world in 2024 !
</p>

<p>
	This fictional VA offers international, regional and local flights all around the globe. Our motto is "Free. Always. Everywhere". Freedom is a core value and we are committed to preserving the simple pleasure of flying our favourite aircraft along the most scenic routes, to the great satisfaction of our passengers ... and our pilots!
</p>

<p>
	Our initial international hubs are Nice Côte d'Azur (<strong>LFMN</strong>), Queenstown (<strong>NZQN</strong>), Papeete (<strong>NTAA</strong>), Vancouver (<strong>CYVR</strong>) and Hong-Kong (<strong>VHHH</strong>). Others will be opened at the request of members.
</p>

<p>
	Optionnally, <span style="color:#a52a2a;"><strong>Laridia Airlines</strong></span> flies on <strong>IVAO </strong>and <strong>VATSIM </strong>and aims to be certified to be part of these great communities.
</p>

<p>
	Last but not least, <span style="color:#a52a2a;"><strong>Laridia Airlines</strong></span> will participate in <strong>Aeroconomy </strong> and <strong>FSAirlines</strong> and will reproduce the lines operated by the VA as accurately as possible, according to the revenue generated by our pilots.
</p>

<p>
	The VA offers <strong> Participation Points</strong> (PP), valuing the pilot's involvement in the VA's reputation. The hours logged (not necessarily along the routes defined by the VA), the presence in the hubs, the connection to IVAO/VATSIM, the participation in internal and external events, and the "achievements" allow to accumulate them.
</p>

<p>
	<span style="color:#a52a2a;"><strong>Laridia Airlines</strong></span> will be built with all its members. We are looking for mature pilots, who know how to be serious without taking themselves too seriously. The VA aims at freedom, immersion and realism, in this order: free flight is allowed, the choice of aircraft is wide within a category (L1T, L2T, L2J...) and every member is a force of proposal to add new hubs, new routes, new achievements and new events.

<p>
	<strong>Realistic but fun is our motto.</strong> The possibility of occurring literally anything once a pilot report for a flight duty, is a reality which requires an endless amount of information to be included in flight operations manuals, an endless amount of studying and continuous training. This unfortunately is one of the stressful and less fun parts of being an aircraft, and especially, an airline pilot. Here at Air Luso Virtual, we pledge to offer the most possible realistic flight operations (within the confines of flight simming), where all of the intricacies of normal operations are accurately simulated in every aspect without having to deal with complex aircraft system failures or inflight emergencies. Therefore, it must be clear to pilots wishing to join Air Luso Virtual that we are a VA which focuses on normal operations and does not simulate line operations with aircraft system failures or non-normal situations other than those inherent to flight simulation.
</p>

<p>
	As a new startup, we are preferably looking for experienced pilots to join our team and help us set up the VA. As founding members, you will be given the opportunity to take management or training positions and to assist us in developing our flight operations and pilot training programs.
</p>

<p>
	We are exceptionally validating all of your flight hours flown online in VATSIM, IVAO, PilotEdge or POSCON online networks in a virtual airline environment or your real world flight hours flown in an airline environment. Validated hours will be counted as hours flown in Air Luso Virtual which is the experience criteria that will allow you to progress through the ranks in Air Luso Virtual.
</p>

<p>
	Rank assignment upon joining will therefore be based on validated flight hours.
</p>

<p>
	With that in mind, click <a href="https://airlusovirtual.com/" rel="external nofollow">here</a> to see what we offer and what we're looking for.
