At The ATP Experience, we have human (i.e. not automated or software encoded) dispatchers who manage the gate assignments, legal dispatch, passenger loads, and field radio calls from pilots. Dispatch also gives limited weather and airport info reports when able. We rate our pilots on procedure adherance, proper flight and fuel planning, and on time performance. We also assign flight schedules and flight packages to our pilots. In other words, you are challenged to perform as a "proficient" pilot... You are also required to keep your Instrument rating current, your type rating current, and will be evaluated based on your on-time performance and flight performance under num…

I'm about to start up a VA operating out of Kai Tak (VHHX) and want to gauge the interest that there'd be in such a VA. We have one of the best training schemes around - fact, not slogan - using video, in-cockpit audio and written/printable manuals. We're going to use a large and diverse fleet; so far I've got routes for and repaints for the LDS 767, both iFly and PMDG 744, PSS 777, PSS A330/A340, BAe 146, various helicoptors, Wilco 737PIC and PMDG 738/9 andI'm trying to find a decent Embraer E-195. I don't intend to use POSKY or IFDG because the panels that are available for such aeroplanes are not realistic. So, would you enjoy such a VA?

Okay, I know you get billions of these posts splattered all over every forum in existence, but I'll just add mine on! I'm suprised there's actually enough flight simmers to go around for all the VA's :-) !Some of you may remeber that I started a VA called AngloSim that operated out of South-West England and Northern France. It never got off the ground for a number of reasons which I won;t go into here. Suffice to say that I've now read everything that there is about forming a VA and learnt from what went wrong previously. About a month ago I then started another VA - and this will NOT vanish within a week this time!Fly Hong Kong Virtual - Kai Tak's premier virtual airline…

This is really a hit-or-miss type of VA. Some do it very well, as far as historical accuracy (some of the individual VA's within Classic Virtual airline Group meet this description). Others add a "what if in the present day" element (Eastern VA). Both are appealing to me. I am finding it difficult to fathom why perhaps one of the first names that one thinks about when mentioning the term, "legacy carrier" seems to be ill-represented.Simply put, there has GOT to be a decent BOAC-VA out there, but I have yet to find one. What a shame.

RMAc is a complimentary operation to our mostly daytime passenger service on mostly freeware aircraft. Can someone recommend a good HTML editor with both code-editing and WYSIWYG capabilities. It needs to be either free or with a free trial - but please don't direct me to rubbish!I have endured a plethora of bad HTML editors that really do not live up to the marketing hype and am getting desperate for a new one. My website hasn't been updated for about a week!

The August Contest is going to be a good one. The winner gets Abacus' Corporate Pilot 2, an add on for both FS2002 and FS2004. This program includes the Safire Jet, Adam 500 and 700, Cessna Citation X, Raytheon Premier I and Grumman Gulfstream III. As well as the aircraft are some really killer panels. This program retails for between $15 and $25, and it a great addition to anyone's business aircraft fleet. This contest is open to all Air Fresno employees who fly any assigned route with any airline aircraft between August 1, 2006 and August 31, 2006. Each time you fly and file a pirep your name will be placed in a fishbowl (fish not included) and one winner will be drawn o…
