Does anyone know if there is a way to send the same keyboardcommand to the server pc and the client pc using WideView andFS2002.One example of this would be when panning the view,it would be nice to have the client pc's view pan alongwith the server pc.Thanks

Hallo,I just got my new PC (Athlon XP 2000, 256 DDR, MSI Geforce 4 TI 4200 with 64MB(!), Win XP) up and running and rushed for my son's monitor in order to hook it to the second monitor port. The outcome was a bit sobering: 2 fps as soon as I distribute the panel and cockpit views across the devices. As long as all views are on the primary, anything is running in the same perfect way as with one monitor(20-35 fps at least); even when I put the undocked FS-Navigator screen to the second monitor. But as soon as I put either view to the secondary frame rates detoriate to a slide show. (I could not really undock the panel view, because it is always bound to the main FS 2002 w…

Happy 4th to all!! I am in the last stages of putting together my flight deck for the DHC 8-100. I am using the Hagstrom KE 72 keystroke emulator to program sim functions.I am stuck on the engine start keystroke sequence and I need some HELP!!!. The sequence I use now is to: select engine (E1) for instance...then move my condition lever to full rich. at this point I become stuck. If I have been initially correct in my sequence, then what is the keystroke to actually get the engine started?? I sure hope someone can enlighten me as to the proper keystroke sequence. FolksI've written a small app that allows any physical key stroke to be mapped to any other key stroke PLUS a destination window.Example, suppose we have two apps, both of which need F1 to do something. My little app will allow you to assign the "a" key to F1 in app1, and "b" to F1 in app2. I'm using it with Project Magenta stuff, but it works with any app that accepts key strokes. Given this, I'm using a stripped-down keyboard wired to a bunch of momentary keys to build an MCP for an Airbus. Works pretty well too and you dont have to worry about task switching to get the key strokes to the right app. (And if you use a rotary enc mapped to a key, that works great too!)If …

I've often read of people using multiple graphic cards in their pcs.Now i'm thinking seriously about it and have some questions:when you install more than 1 vid card, how does FS behave?I mean: is it possible, and is it standard, to have multiple views on different monitors?Say i have a radeon 8500 and a 7500 both dual display.The 8500 agp and the 7500 pci.Is it possible with the only FS to use the 2 monitors on the 8500 as eternal views, and the other two on the 7500 as internal/instrument views?If so, how is it done?What configurations does this need?

I can get a 34 inch TV with S-video input for free. I have a GeForce 4MX 440 video card with an s-video output. I was thinking that I might use the TV as an outside view and my computer display as an instrument view. From what I have found out it looks like any secondary video card will not function in 3D acceleration mode. Does anyone known if this limitation also applies to the TV section of video cards like the GeForce 4MX? Jon

Say you were building a 777 would you have to get a 777 model from PSS? I am building multiple throttles, prop-pitch controls, elevator trim, etc. I have tried to use USB/Gameport adapter from Radio Shack to connect multiple pots to my computer through USB, but the results have been very disappointing. Finally, I have decided to buy several cheap USB joysticks ($20-30). It is slightly more expensive than the Radio Shack adapter but it will work. Does anybody have a positive experience with these adapters?

I am using wideview on FS2002 with 2 17 monitors side by sideCan anyone explain how to setup 2 views so that therunway does not appear at the edge of the 2 monitor. Whenthe runway is narrow during a landing, it is hidden behind the frames of the monitors. There must be a way to skew theview right or left. I am using the normal cockpit view NOTthe Virtual View.ThanksDoug

I am new to EPIC and I am would like to buy one. I would like to know some things first about it. I know some C++ so EPL should be easy for me? Is there a book you get on how to program it? Also I am thinking about making parts of a 737 or other boeing and I am wondering what sim is best. I love FLY2 but I dont think EPIC will work with it that well. How are the physics in MSFS? I hope the physics are the same. To deltaflight if he is listening. How did you create your wonderful throttle quad? I dont feel like paying 8 grand on one.Thanks William English
