Thought I'd post a couple a screen shot of a personalized welcome screen when landing at Paine-Everett. Also a shot of the log book showing reward for a successful flight. Got to buy some fuel now and maybe drop by the hanger and look into cost of equipment upgrades after a few more good flights.

I just had fun with the Cub. I flew it from Ranger Creek to Seatac. Since I'm still using those "horrible palettes" I wonder if someone else has tried them? I haven't given up on the seasons yet and would appreciate some suggestions :-)best regards,Hans Petterhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/52884.jpg

Hi!I try to update the EFIS of the wonderful King Air 350 for FU3 a bit.One thing is to get the EFIS dark if the battery is off.I've tried to lay a battery switch onto the EADI, which is transparent if battery is on and black if battery is off. This works good as long as the EADI doesn't move. If it moves, both images(black screen and EFIS behind it) are shown! Is there any possibility to give the different gauges priorities? This would also be very good as I then could built a EFIS with more functions, e.g. I could put a LOC and GS onto the EADI.I couldn't find any possibility in FU3 Cockpit Designer to give gauges priorities! Is there any chance to do this?Regards,Harr…

The three screenshots below highlight my current problem. It seems that a few high resolution textures have become corrupted to the east south-east of Renton Municipal. Which files do I need to replace to sort this out ? Do I need to re-install FU3 ? I have actually tried the latter (installing from hard disk; the contents of each CD were copied into temporary folders), but the problem remains. Is this part of the Geotiles.tag file ? Is it part of the contents of the FLIGHT3/REGIONS/SEATTLE/MAPS folder ?Please help ! :-( Chris Low.

Thank you Andre, Thy B17 Flying Fortress 'Sally-B' and Avro Shackleton MR3: look gate. Its always a plezer to explor and play with a new model or tow.And changeing the color of the windflag in the UK was simply briliant, espeshaly the way you did it, it was a tuch geenyas.I also used it in seattle, which givs me blue wind-soks.Or if I fly in a chalange, I get wight wind-soks.Yes I know it wasant ment for Seattle, but blue or wight, is beter than camaflarge braun.Ps, And if I us the wind-sok as a fliabl model wich has a shadow, then it has a diferentbraun, or blue dipending on which of your models is uaed. see anap 2.Dont ask me why, its all a bit biyond me.glidernut.:-wave

Every time that I contact Ground Control after landing at San Carlos, the controller assumes that I am located on the opposite side of the runway. He always says something like "Beechjet Niner Lima Golf, taxi to parking via Alpha, Golf....hold short runway 30", even when I am on the correct side of the runway. This happens irrespective of which side of the runway the parking spot is located.Has anyone else noticed this ?Chris Low.

Next Saterday... December 6th, 2003... at 14:00 EST is the scheduled date/time of our next FURF chat. Attendance was so bad last time that I wanted to see if anybody really wants one.I enjoy these things but if nobody else is interested then there doesn't seem to be much point in continuing. Please let me know what you think. :)

Dear All,As the DHC6 nears 'beta' stage, I need some suggestions regarding suitable liveries for the Seattle/Sanfran regions. I already have a suitable livery for that 'other' region (Loganair) which will sit nicely with 'that' region's DHC8 livery ;)I know I could do a million different skydive clubs but I don't have any decent photos of DHC6's around these two areas - any preferences? Please post or link photos if possible :-wave******************* Jonathan Point *******************

Hi all, For those open cockpit fans some news on the Tigermoth.3D - Model: getting there still some hiccups with wires doing strange things. Also probably too many polys but FU3 seems happy enough.Moving parts: Thanks to some serious coaching from Ansgar we now have moving ailerons, rudder and elevator. Some currently move in the opposite direction but that is easy to fix. My rudder axel however seems to cut a triangluar piece out of the tail fin... still have to think that one throughTextures: Again thanks to help from Ansgar on the mysterious world of texturing the old girl got her first texture this week. Just the cowling for the moment but I was thrilled when I…

Hi All ;)Now that 182 of you have downloaded (and presumably flown) the L-13, does anyone have any feedback on the plane, packages or models?I am slowly working through the ASW28 3D model, towards releasing it over Christmas. I am also doing a couple of other things too, like a DHC6, a T6 and an F4U. The DHC6 should also be ready around the same time as the ASW.I was also thinking of releasing the packages separately AND doing a full release of all my rural/bush models as I never uploaded them all. Maybe I'll wait until I've done Kapowsin (another 'light entertainment' subject I use for diversion ;) ).Any comments would be appreciated. Please post them here as my email ad…

I have been using FU3 in Win98SE ever since I got it. I have also recently setup another PC with a multi-boot setup so I can run Win2K and Linux. What bugs me is that I cannot get the same framerates in Win2K. I'm talking 10-12fps vs. 15-20fps :-( :-(Before you ask, the hardware is identical - down to the uP/HD/FX5200 and 512Meg RAM. I initially got somewhere by turning off some services I didn't need (like the bleedin' OS searching the internet every 5 minutes for updates...) but I still don't appear to have 100% processor time, even though my processes says '99% free' processor load. Most other software I use is unaffected (but then it's newer AND was written for Win2K co…

Today I installed the Seattle 2004 update and like what I have seen of it so far - nice one Chris. However I have run across a minor glitch which may cause me to have to remove and reinstall FU3 from scratch.Prior to loading the Seattle 2004 update all "F" keys worked as normnal but now the "F3" key shuts down FU3 completely and returns you back to the desktop. I have since removed the Seattle 2004 update but am still stuck without the "F3" option.I also have the Swiss files in a seperate copy of FU3 on the same hard drive and the F3 key in that works normally. It appears that something has happened to the working of that key when I installed the Seattle 2004 update.Any …

Just a note to say Andre that your series of static models are superb! The detail on both recent releases is excellent (Mitchell bomber and Me109). Keep up the good work!I haven't installed your bookmark manager yet. I need one of Jon's long rainy days ...RobD.

Hi guys! I'm a long time FS simmer, FS2 ,3 ,4 ,5 , 98, etc. so I'm on a good footing. Someone gave me a complete copy of Flight Unlimited 2 in the box, and I've finally got enough room on the hard drive to give it a spin. I'm just curious for people's impressionsoverall. It certainly looks like, even limited to the SF bay area, there's still a lot to see. I'm also a Pro-Pilot 99 user, so I'mnot totally crippled by only having used Microsoft Simulators! :) Thanks! Christopher
