    Does the therory of mixing grass,forest ext with residential night lighting textures work also in reverse.I know in some cases when you add residential textures to forests in G2k you can end up with your forests being lit at night.My problem is reverse.Im getting no night lighting in the residential areas.See attachment.If not, does anyone know where im going wrong here.Thanks

    I would like to modify the active runways at Oakland to be 27R/9L. 29/11 is for commercial jets, while 27R/9L is the main runway for GA. Mostly they use 27L/9R for touch and goes, as well as overflow. 33 is used for takeoff only. I thought to download AFCAD and try to learn how to change the airport that way. Is that the easiest way? Most important, is that I can't find AFCAD in the libraries anywhere. All the searches bring up the hundreds of AFCAD generated files. Can anybody point me at the precise filename and library?Thanks,

    I have FSGenesis terrain mesh and FSScene textures. Trees keep showing up in numerous airport aprons and taxiways. My understanding, which is very limited, is that it has something to do with either incorrect airport location? or a problem with the exclude?, I'm not sure which. What can I do about it? Again, my knowledge in this area is very limited. Thanks for any help offered.

    I've noticed that just about every major airport within Australia has been fairly comprehensively designed and some very realistic scenery released, with one exception - Brisbane (Eagle Farm) YBBN. I don't know if many other people are bothered by this, but I think the default scenery of FS9 for Brisbane airport is quite simply pathetic.I have seen AFCAD files for Brisbane, but not one scenery add-on.There is not one airbridge at either the domestic or international terminals and the terminal buildings look nothing whatsoever like the actual buildings.     I have a list of waypoints that I'd like to add to the GPS. (If anyone's curious, they are the reporting points used for for CVFR in Israel.) They don't have to sequence or anything, they just need to show up on the map with their names. I have the names, latitudes, and longitudes in a table. With some work, I'm sure I can fit the data into whatever format is necessary. Maybe a series of XML definitions? I don't know. Can someone point me in the right direction? E.g., if this is covered in the SDK, which one and what should I look for?

    First of all, I'm a beginner to scenery design, but I have read the Beginner's Guide.When flying VFR with the default MSFS2004 scenery it is difficult to navigate using real-world charts or maps, because the scenery lacks of details and contains failures.Instead of installing more accurate scenery add-ons I wounder if it would be possible to derrive VFR charts from the default scenery. Hi everyone,I've read the Ground2k4 tutorial but I meet some troubles when I have to enter the North-West and South-East coordinates on the bmp image (if you prefer, the coordinates of the area I want to correct/change with Ground2k4).Please could you tell me how you do to get the North-West and South-East coordinates in FS2004 ?     Hi,Want to use flashing lights in my scenery. Is there some previous thread ? A tutorial ? Is FSRegen easier/better than GMAX ? Need I with FSRegen Middleman or not ?Is it possible to program a group of flashing lights so that one group is flashi all together at the same time and a second group follows flashing once all together; then a third group... ? and then starting all over again with the firsr group ? Been playing with the random effects controller (type=1), but I'm getting many more of the effects showing than I should be, and I'm sure I've got something wrong:I've been reading the SDK and it's really not clear.     I am trying to get the high resolution photo option to work in SBuilder 2.05 but the scenery doesn't show up in FS9.I am working with a 4500 x 4500p bitmap at 2.4m/pixel. SBuilder makes a BGL of size 197kB named *_PHOTO.BGL and 22 bitmaps each 1.0MB in size, 512x512p and 32bit format and named like 12133011013202_0512_Su.bmp. I have a project folder with "scenery" folder and "texture" folder. I put the bitmaps in the texture folder and the bgl in the scenery folder and ativate in FS9. If I fly to where the photo scenery should be, the program "stutters" a little and I see one or two vertical "tears" on the screen, but no sign of the scenery.Any help appreciated.Scott

    Hi all. Just got high speed internet access the other day and the next step in the start towards going commercial with the scenery package I'm working on is creating a business website. I'd like to make my package available for download over the internet and it's nearly 300 mb in size so obviously I need a host site capable of holding many mb of data as well as a large bandwidth for uploading and downloading. My intent all along with this project was not to go into this business as a means to put food on my family table. I already have a job for that. I only desire to have enough income to cover costs and compensate for my time and effort (and keep my family happy). …

    HiI've created some photo scenery using the great sbuilder, the images that sbuilder made are 8bit 1024x1024 with alpha channel, and are not flipped, which I've read in other post is the case when exporting with sbuilder but i've not found this. The Bgl has been compiled on layer level 4.The photo scenery works great, but I can't seem to get any autogen to show.I've use the Microsoft annotator to add the autogen and I've placed the AGN files in various locations. I've put them in my main project scenery and texture folder, nothing, I've tried putting the BGL, BMP and AGN in a seperate scenery folder on their own, didnt work. And I've tried putting them in the Sceneryworld…

    I was just reading through sasa's thread about waves, as I'm currently working on this as well...but I have an unrelated question:Is there a way to control waves based on wind direction? Say you've got a reef, with wind from a certain direction at a certain speed, waves will break there. Any simple way to do that?Thanks!sg

Of course this effect showed only once and disapeared.Then I tried using "wavecontroller.fx" which is - referring to the effects SDK - used for the default waves, too.     Hi fellow simmers,At a few airports FS crashes when the progress show 'loading scenery textures' and at 16%. Curiously, it's only at daylight. Same airports are ok at night. It seems to be more or less 'area wide', since a flight begun in a 'healthy' area will cause FS to crash ~15 - 20nm out or so.Any help, pointers to FAQ's etc., will be greatly appreciated.

    As many of you know, some land class types will not display on slopes. At least, not if they are placed as land class. It is easy enough to get around this limitation by drawing a VTP and assigning a land class value to it - this will cover the rocky slopes and display the desired ground textures.However, there is the problem of autogen.
