    Hello all, I have been working off and on with a scenery project realistically detailing Salina Municipal Airport (KSLN). This airport is home to 2 FBO's, B1900D airservice, and is "Home of the GlobalFlyer". I have pretty much completed a new AFCAD but the airport is severely missing accurate buildings. I am looking for a designer who could help develop some buildings to make the airport look more realistic. As I live in Salina, and conveniately work at both the Salina Airport Authority and one of the FBO's, can get measurements, official drawings, and pictures of the entire airport. So, I installed everything, and it seemed to be working - Until I tried creating scenery with it, at which point my computer simply seemed to shut itself off.After restarting, and trying again, I found that trying to select an airport in FS did the same thing.     Hello!After finding the reason why my scenery slows down FS so much (several high detailed terminal buildings...) I give Gmax a second try (what a hard ride, still don't find any manual) and start to make my own terminal buildings.When I come to the point to give this building a texture the trouble goes on. The Gmax material editor can't read most of the default Fs9 textures, and I am also a little bit in doubt if someone may use those textures, even for freeware projects.So here are my questions:1.     Hi thereJust a few days ago I started making my own APIs with EOD. Yesterday I made some APIs with transparent DXT1-textures (extended fs70 16bit) and everything worked fine, but today EOD was not able to show the same textures in the textures dialog. I'm very confused? How could this happen. Yesterday I made trees with the stock-FS-bitmaps and today EOD only shows a questionmark instead of the texture-preview. I don't get it.Maybe there was kind of a dll-loaded by another program that made it possible. but i really have no clue.how will I get EOD showing these textures again?     How can I add trees to me scenery that looks exactly like autogen trees? There are plenty off good looking trees out there to add to scenery but they all look out of place alongside of FS's autogen. I'm looking for something that will blend in with the rest of the landscape in FS.Thanks,Dave

    I use FSSC version 1.5.11 and FS2004. When I originally got the product 3 years ago, I was on FS2002. I made a scenery which worked perfectly with FS2002. With FS2004, the scenery makes its way to the sim but the airport/navaid data section does not recognize that my scenery is there. What did I do wrong. In the map section of FS2004, my scenery registers. Does any one know how to remedy this short of me having to start over. Thank you in advance. Frank

    Good day all!I'm not new to scenery design but it semms i have a serious problem now, since i couldnt find any map for LHSM airport, im using the AIS GMC map as a map for my scenery to paint things in g2k4, however i only know the center pixel coordinate of my map : That is N46:41:10.85 E017:09:32.56.and my pixel per meter is 2,4. However its the first time that im using this function, and i got a serious problem, it accepts the first coordianet but not the E one, i think i typed everything correct, and i think its a prram bug , but if anyone knows the solution please help me, it gives erreour (501) when trying to accept that coordinate, here is a screenshot of what he do…

    Hello There!Can some one help me? I would like to place an object in FS9, from which I have made by FSDS3. I slew to the point in FS9, there I want my object to be. Write the coordinates down. Then in FSDS3, I write the same coordinates in: project properties, and create FS object file. But the object is about 2-3 miles away, from the point, I desided it should be.My centerpoint in my project object, is in the middle of the object, so it can't be because my reference point is so far away from my object.     Hello,The SFS Airpark on the Olympic Peninsula is located about 50 miles too far west in flight simulator. I relocated the runway to its proper position in AFCAD by dragging the runway and starting points to the correct location and saving the file. The airport reference point was also moved with the runway. The new runway in its proper location works fine with a small flatten area around it.My problem is that the old runway is not gone. Furthermore, creating a flight in the FS menu that is supposed to start at the airport results in the aircraft loading at the old location, not the new one.I have moved runways up to a thousand feet in the past, but never as far as this m…

    Sbuilder WGS84 Conversion Help PleaseI'm trying to make photo scenery for an area of about 400 LOD13s in standard resolution using Sbuilder.I need to break up this area into 15 smaller ones to compile separately. The resulting tiles of the areas don't align well with one another and the location of places within the areas are also off even though the corners of the areas are placed correctly in FS.After reading several posts about Sbuilder photoscenery making on AVSIM, it seems I may need to use Sbuilder conversion to convert a bitmap to WGS84 format.     Hi,This concerns the new KaiTak scenery from Jim Vile and Tom Gibson.I had all the textures in place and am now missing 2 which show up as light and dark gray shapes.     I've been using the SRTM water body shapefiles for coastlines. It appears these were developed from the 30m data. It looks like there is good accuracy, the problem is that when you look at it in the sim it looks bad -- all the coastline is 90 degree turns.My question is, is there some tool that I could use to process the vector data to get rid of this artificialness?     Could anyone kindly help me re. decompliling & recompiling bgl files? With the old, 'FS8' type files I am pretty OK with disassembling, editing the .sca file and recompiling with SCASM - nothing to it really. But I am at a loss with the new FS9 XML type files. My current 'project' is a case in point: I have a hefty scenery library bgl file, some 1000kb, which I can see is the cause of my having buildings on one of my runways. I have BGLAnalyze (FS9), MSXML4 & BGLCOMP_SDK.
