I downloaded Airport Chart Gauge (henceforth called ACG) from AVSIM library recently and I have installed it, as directed in the instructions. I have my FSX in D:/ Drive instead of C:/. This ACG was installed by default in C:/ directory. I got my Airport Database Builder Option to Run. The Database says that it was built successfully (in a few milliseconds), but the Result comes out as 0 Airports. I also checked through the Manual.PDF for any Help about this, but it was Unsuccessful. This is for the Sky Simulations MD-11 V2.0. I have successfully placed a working dome light in the VC thanks to input from other AVSIM members.This was done by adding the effect fx_vclighth in the aircraft.cfg file and is activated by the SHIFT-L command. The overhead panel in the VC has a working dome switch in that I can click it with the mouse and it moves. Given that the switch appears to be modelled, is there any way I can "wire it up". Modifying the .air file or xml file or some such? Thanks in advance.

Hello Experts, I am working on a moving map module integrated in FSX as a module because it reads the FSX internal database to get the airport/navaid information. I have create a C++ DLL module that creates a window using the "CreateWindow" function and draws the map in this window using GDI+. It works perfect when FSX runs in windowed mode, but not when it is in full screen mode. Hello panel designers everywhere, I would like to build an xml autopilot for a helicopter that mimics the way an instructor hands the controls to a student pilot one at a time. I don't think I have to re-invent the wheel here as there are many autopilots out there but I would like some suggestions for APs that I can look at the code and learn what needs to be done to produce such an element. Ultimately, it would control a hover and also be able to 'assist' the pilot on long flights as if control is handed over to a co-pilot. It doesn't need to track any navigation devices like GPS or ADF, just hold IAS, heading and altitude in a cruise or hold a hover. …

Hi All, I'm new to panel/gauge design and trying to copy the default G1000 PFD panel from the Mooney Bravo to a new aircraft to be able to display airspeed, altitude, heading, etc. on another monitor. I'm using Prepar3D V3 right now. What I've done is pretty much copy the Window definition from the Bravo's panel.cfg file into the other aircraft's panel.cfg file, and copied all of the files within the Bravo's panel folder into the new aircraft's panel folder. Hi. I'm starting to make a plane for FSX. I started modeling the Rafale fighter plane. (I've given some preview views below). I'm using the FSX Acceleration Pack simulator. I'm using 3Ds Max 2016. I installed the SDK software. I downloaded the "XtoMDL UI" software. "XtoMDL UI" program is running correctly. I want to export the model I prepared with 3ds Max 2016 software as ".X" file. However, in 3Ds Max's export menu, there is no .X file in the "Export" options. Using P3Dv4. Have not upgraded to 4.5. Downloaded a Robin DR400 as test plane. Chose a True Air Speed.xml gauge and made cab file and placed cab file in panel folder of each aircraft. Added to test plane panel.cfg. New gauge shows perfect. So I repeat steps in F-14 aircraft. Will not show. Any reason it will show in one aircraft but not the other?

Hello: Hope I can make this question clear...I have several airplanes that I enjoy flying in FSX...But, a few of them have annoying or silly stickers painted onto the panel itself...Is there a way for me to edit these panels and remove the details I want gone? FSXA Just finished a gauge showing gun tracers firing forward. It works OK but I think the clear HUD backing is blocking the stream showing though the HUD. Is this a bug or can the backing be changed. Thanks PVE

Hello All, I was wondering if I could get your Help, I recently Purchased the McPhat Livery Packs for the ERJ, and the 145XR Panel has the Background for the 145LR, So the Nobs and Buttons don't match up with the Background Texture. Hi folks. I have managed to get David Robles Helio the August EH101v2 working in P3Dv4, it is a greatly improved version of the default FSX EH101 which was unfinished by MS. It works flawlessly in FSX-Steam. Having purchased P3Dv4, I have added it using the add-on.xml approch with effects and sound; all is working well.... but no instruments are displayed in the glass cockpit. I have heard many reports that default FSX AC do not work in P3Dv4, is it possible to get the glass cockpit working. Many thanks Roger

I recently purchased the RealityXP Garmin GNS 430 (FltSim). I am having trouble finding the add-on menu in FSX and have the the shift right click feature recommended. Is there someone at Reality XP I can contact directly for support with this issue?

I have made a Cessna 172 panel and connected my gauges through a Leo Bodner button box. All gauges work fine except I cannot find any information for assigning the 3 clock buttons. they work when accessed by the mouse but how do I assign them in Linda? Thank you for a great programme. Hello, my PMDG 738NGX in P3Dv4 takes the Nose too much down, during the turns. Also the Autopilot needs to trim wery much up when i, as example, change the HDG 180°. Does anyone expierience the same nd mabe know anyone what to do gainst that? The Load is correct, and as of the MCP the trim is around 5 for the Takeoff, so the payload is correct. The Fuel is loaded around half full tanks. Matthias
