Not sure how to classify this problem. I used the older version of gmax that came with FS2002 successfully several months ago, and wanted to use it again today. When I loaded up my old version, it said that I needed to register, and then when I said register later, instead of having 4 black screens on my console, they were all filled with multicolored lines and snow.I d/l'ed the new version, and it doesn't ask me if I want to register, but still has the snow problem. I have tried making objects, loading old projects, and that all seems to work, but I can't see anything but the snow.Anyone have a clue on this one? Thanks a bundle,Matt

Hi I am beginning a Learjet 45 Panel project (hopefully i will not find it impossible-so i am not promissing anythin) and i need some good reccommendations on what programs and stuff i need to learn howto make a panel... I am fimiilair with programming but i would like to know a little bit more. I am hoping to make it as good as the ERJ panel and hopefully inculde a FMS in it. I have easy access to every detail of a learjet 45 so i am not worried about realism or systems logic. I have the SDK I was hoping to learn like whats a good program to use to complie the source code and if thres any What you seee is what you get kinda things. Thanks a ton

hi still working on it ....with full screen all gauges can be read .....working on the autopilot to make it mesh in better colour wise .......please any sugestions welcome ....the right view and forward right view will also feature photo first officer ......cheers harry

I have FS2K2 Pro and this program was supposed to come with it. From a newbie to aircraft repaintingCan anyone direct me to a tutorial on how to repaint default FS2002 aircraft? Are the default FS2002 aircraft the same as GMAX? I seem to be able to easily edit the bmps on GMAXs I've downloaded, but cannot access the bmps on the default aircraft.

I have goofed and overwritten all of the filename.CUI in my gmax Customize User Interface. I have trashed even the default one. Now I can't see any of the buttons because of the colors I had slected and saved. :-( Too many to get back to the default values. Keep in mind the defaultUI.cui is trash as well. Could some kind soul email the CUI file they are using? It is located in the standard install at:C:gmaxui directory.If you have chaged the setting and you like them better, send then along also. G'Day Everyone.The DDG (Duck Design Group) as we have come to call ourselves, are on the final stages of our project.I have seen in the CFG file where certain FX are triggered by water landings, dirt, concrete, and light settings.Is there anyway to trigger an FX where it will only work when the engine is running? I REALLY hope so or this FX is going to look strange when the engine is shut down.Thanks!Heather

Hi,Some might recall me asking questions about Gmax or FSDS. Well I decided to go with FSDS as it seemed more natural to work with.I had not planned to show this work but a friend has convinced me that people would like to see what I've been working on. The model is my own Yak52 and is still in early stages. The basic model is almost there and just needs some details and tweeking. Im using FS2000 and my problem that I hope you good people can help me with is this : When I try and fly my Airliners in night conditions my cockpit light doesn't turn on so all I can see are the backlit guages which obviously isn't enough ! I must be missing something simple here and I cant put my finger on it ! (Pardon the pun !)All help will be greatly appreciatedJames.

Hi !Folks who enjoy my Concorde 3D cockpit might like this upcomming thing. This time i'm working out the outside just a little more.The plan is to have this outside (only) made for AI use only (might be uploaded to ProjectAI if they want)Then afterwards this outside will be joined with the 3D cockpit I'm working on as well.This plane will be very easy to repaint. I'm no gauge designer. Is it a simple matter to fit a toggle switch on a 2D panel that can operate a FS2002 key stroke?
