People tend to put SOOOOO much time and effort into making planes looks as detailed as possible from the outside. This is nice ! And I shure admire all these projects like OpenSky and ProjectAirbus etc.But what about AI-planes ... anyone thought of those? You know what will happen to my frame rate if I would use all these planes as AI ? Now here's what I propose: what if all these guys would releas an AI version of their plane.Same textures, but less eye candy and no VC etc. Just an outside shell with nice looking textures. And then there would have to be plenty of repaint for those and you could use these planes as AI only and not fly them yourself ...What do you …

How is the B-1b lancer that someone is making. I saw a message at avsim.com about someone was making a B-1b lancer and B-2 Stealth bomber. I had the message booked marked for about a month and now the page won't display. I didn't know if someone quit making this aircraft or what. The pictures i saw the only thing that needed done was the paint job. The model looked great. Scotthoss.

Can someone PLEASE design a Citabria for FS2002? There are none out there! It doesn't have to be incredibly detailed or anything like that, just a solid FS2002 Citabria. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I need some help in finding some specific info for the FDECtrl.cfg file. The info I need specifically is in sections 1400 and 1500 for Helicopters. It allows for editing Helo specifics, such as the number of blades, etc, etc... There was a file on Keith's Virtual Helipad that held the additional information for the FDECtrl.cfg file, however since Keith's Virtual Helipad doesn't exist anymore I don't know where to get it. Does anyone have the info? And if so you can E-Mail it to me. I would be MUCH appreciative of this. I want to create some new helicopters but cannot edit them in the proper way without this [email protected]...

Hi,I have the Dreamfleet 737 anf have noticed that it seems to have two sets of lights, one activated via the aircraft config file the other I believe thru the MDL file.Can I turn off the MDF one, via a hex editor if needs be as it clashes with the aircraft config lights,I have the FS2002 version of the aircraft.Thks Ron

Is there a setting that you can change, like the intensity of reflections? I have some aircraft that shine real well! And some that are real dull....How can you change the reflection intensity?ThanksPP

Hi,Can anyone tell me if you can activate the runway lights in daylight. I tried a flight in low vis but could only see the papis lit up but no runway approach lights.If theres a way via a hex editor I'm prepare to try it.Rgds Ron.

You install this plane on your PC and you use it with some 2D panel. When you're flying this plane you'll be looking upon a 2D panel that looks exactly the same as the one from, lets say, the default 737... because it IS the same panel !! I'm making a concorde 3D cockpit and the plan is to make it work, without a real 2D panel but have small popup-like windows that you can access via the Shift-1 to Shift-8. If I could have a small panel with 8 working button-gauges on it which only gives commands to open these panels, that would be awesome. I'm not using the ones that FS uses on meny planes cuz the drawings are wrong. If you can do this, contact me pls !! [email protected] !!

HiI've had the rather ugly discovery that I cannot use a lot of _SET type event within automatic calculations without interference with the aircraft [exits] section.These includes events such as ADF_IDENT_SET, SPOILER_SET, and GYRO_SET, which are some of the main new features of the panel - and I will not part with it :) I was able to do some boolean checks to use ADF_IDENT_TOGGLE instead which works fine. The bug with GYRO_SET is livable I think, but NOT SPOILER_SET. SPOILER_TOGGLE will not work, as I have to use certain degrees of deflection based on the calculations.Whenever I use these events in automatic functions, Shift E-2 will open the main exit instead of the num…

When i planes in gmax and export them to mdl and try to see them in fs2k2 they are really huge. Why?I design them in the actual sizes!

I'm a member of Delta Virtual Airlines, and a group I started called The Delta Hangar. As I said we're designing a 737-800 in GMax and we need some members who are proficient in GMax. G'Day y'all!I just completed an elaborate repaint of a Grumman Duck; well, almost completed.That solid window REALLY bugs me. Makes it look unfinished.
