Hello allHaving a small problem with an xml gauge for the 2002 version Howard 500, that I cant seem to resolve. Attached is a picture of what is happening. The aileron and rudder trim cards appear to have something "covering" the windows. I have removed each part and have repainted each part to see if any of my elements are doing this. Nothing seems to change what I see happening. If you thnk you may be able to help, I have created a stand-alone gauge and panel folder for someone to test this out with. I'm looking for Agusta A109 K2 model (Fs9 only) and eventually the paint kit scheme.I already know that exist a beautiful Agusta A109 pack version A, BA, MK2 (but no K2 with fixed gear).My project is a K2 repaint texture for '118 Venezia Emergenza', a sanitary version actually used in Italy (LIPV).Thanks everyone who help me.

I've added spoilers to my upcoming Eclipse release(Latest pics here: http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...id=147160&page= )My question is in regards to animations. I want to accomplish 3 things:~Have them extend to 45 degrees in the air~Have then extend to 75 degrees on the ground~Have the animation smooth...I've only accomplished item one--the spoilers extend to 45 degrees, but that is their limit in the air and on the ground.The bigger problem is that they extend instantly--there is no gradual extension. The next problem is that I can't get them to extend fully on the ground.I am using keyframe animation to get it set up... Obviously I'm doing something r…

:-zhelp Does anyone know whether I can download a Fokker 50 in VLM colours from anywhere? I'm trying to make my traffic at London City a bit more realistic. Traffic 2004 has made a vast improvement (once some rogue Airbuses and B737s have been edited out), but the F50 is the one really frequent visitor missing. I did find one for FS2002, but it did not work in FS9. The lack of props and landing gear, coupled with its habit of taxiing with the door open, made it look less than authentic!Any pointers welcome.Matthew

Just to let you know that if you prefer a side cockpit view, instead of a passenger seat view on the aircraft mentioned, take note that the eyepoint view in the aircraft.cfg file is set "eyepoint=-6.1286" which puts it over the wing. To move the view forward I used "43.10" described in the "fx_vclight". Once you have done this you should have an unobstructed view out the cockpit side windows.Cheers all

I installed Bill Morads panel for the 421 Eagle and am using it in FS9. Am having trouble with the vc. Attached is a screen of problem. The navagation zoom gauges are super imposed on vc. Tried everything I can think of, even to editing out gauges, zoom panel. There are an extra set of gauges in window of #3 vc, but editing out these out does no good. i have been working on a p-3 orion equiped and painted as a california firefighter. it has two tanks that drop 3000 gals of fire rtardent on a forest fire. it comes out as a reddish cloud. anybody know how?....doc

Hi,As we all know, tinkering with an existing VC model is not possible if the sources are not available. It still is possible to add plain clickspots to achieve a function, such as pop up a window or switch on/off the lights by editing the panel.cfg?What I'm trying to do here is add a simple clickspot (no fancy 3d animations needed) to operate landing/taxi/passenger lights from the VC of a commercial addon. It seems frustrating to switch back to 2d to do these as all else can be done from the VC.Thanks,

Hi guys,I have a small design issue here. The pivot of all the vertices get's distorted after using the loft. The attached pic shows it pretty well I think. This distortion makes it virtually impossible to move the points around like you normally would when the points are aligned to the "world" axis. The secondary symptom of this issue is that not only the lofted part has the disterted vertices, but instead all parts get the same problem. I am finding it very frustrating when i follow various tutorials by following the instructions to the word and it still does not work how it should. I really need to learn how to cut cockpit windows if i am to learn more about FSDS2. This is a big wall to me that i can not pass until i get my head around cutting cockpit windows.Can anyone help me? Is there a way of doing it by making a tube the shape of the window and then running it through the fuselage part and then doing something to cut anything that the tube passes through?

Hey i have some questions i would apriciate if someone could answear them. Is there a way to get models from 3dmax into fs2004, or at least gmax (that way i can use the tools in gmax for fs2004)???,secondary to that, but almost as important, is there a way to convert, or open fs2004 files in max, or convert gmax files into a format max can read ???? .I thought that max could do this natively, but i guess i was wrong.There is a gmax plugin in max, but as far as i can tell, i cant figure out what it does, it doesnt seem to do anything. I'm currently updating Dave Eckert's great FSDS Eclipse--a project I recently announced in the screenshots forum (a link to the most recent pic is below).I've finished updating the VC, and it shows up great in the daytime. But the gauges all but vanish at night. I am not trying anything too fancy...I'm just interested in getting the gauges to appear with a fair amount of brightness. Any simple approach I can try?Also, is there a way to "preset" the VC zoom value?
