FS 2002 docs seem to imply that the engines on the lear jet can be manually started. I have not been able to cut them off. I saw the throttle quadrant and moved the throttle to cut off but the engines still run. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am getting sick of this problem I am having with the VIA chipset. So I am thinking about replacing my motherboard, can you believe it? However, I want to salvage (can't think of a better word) the memory and CPU.The processor is a AMD XP 2200Memory is DDR PC 2100Now the question is:What motherboard should I buy? It has to be 100% compatible with CH USB devices.Thanks!Barry

HI all I just want some opinions from thpose of u who have purchased the 747 from VMAX. how doesit fly? how readable are the gauges (they look not as sharp as some of the other panels out there)? all comments welcome.

I am having a problem with my autopilot on just about every aircraft.When ever the plane reaches the altitude set the nose pitchs up 30-45 degrees and stalls out. And it's not just the big boys either. I was flying the new meljet777 and when the plane reached 36100' the nose just pitched up and it stalled and started to lose altitude rapidly. When I leveled it out, it did it again. I've tried turning off the A/P and turning it back on but to no avail. Any ideas?

If so can someone post a pic, I've never seen this...

I know this question has probably been asked hundeds of times but I couldn't find an answer doing a search,so I'm asking it again.I am currently running an AMD Athlon 1.2 Gz processor with 512MB RAM and a GeForce 2 video card. I have been flying single engine GAs a bit lately - what is the basic proceedure for leaning the mixture. For instance, the FSD Commander comes with settings for take-off and cruise, but the manual did not discuss the fuel mixure?What am I looking for in leaning the mixure - what engine readings etc.Thanks!Colin

The setup: With my Windows XP and FS2k2, I fly an ILS approach until I have the runway in view, then do a manual VFR to landing. Just recently, as I close the throttles and starting my flare (at around 200-300 feet), suddenly the plane goes into a steep, nose down descent of which I am unable to recover. I just installed an Asylum GeForce4 MX 440 64mb card and I'm getting great results over my old GeForce2 MX 32 mb card. But I do have one problem. Any planes that use reflective textures are, instead, just plain white on my system. The new BAE 146 model along with the new Ercoupe do not reflect at all, among others.I have reflective textures checked in FS2k2 and they did work with the GeForce2 card. Is there anything I can do? I'm running the 6.13.10.4072 drivers. Thanks.

When I fly in cockpit view and look to left or right, then return to cockpit view I sometimes get a 2-3 second delay where the sim freezes before resuming. Also happens if I change from say, spot-plane to cockpit. It seems more pronounced with the larger, custom panels. It only happens in FULLSCREEN mode. Flying in the DF/Ariane 737 tonite, had an electrical bus failure thanks to FSMaintenance. All electrics went out, 'course this happens as I'm on the VOR-A to Mazatlan. Everything was going to work out fine, VMC conditions, but the gear would not come down. Is there an alternate means of lowering the gear on the DF737? I ended up flaps to 40, landed, on centerline, just shy of a stall, but MSFS had me as a crash and FSMaintenance called it a disaster (which of course it was). If I could've just gotten the gear down, everything would've worked out all right.Lobaeux

I have installed an extensive amount of payware and freeware add on scenery files on my FS2K2. Presently, the declared sceneries in the scenery config file (inclusive of the original FS2K2 sceneries) amount to approximately 330(!).Yesterday I installed two more. However, while the procedure of adding sceneries worked normally these ones didn't seem to register anymore. At first they appeared but if I exited and then tried to return to the sceneries they simply wouldn't appear again in the "added scenery file FS2K2 window", let alone in the game itself.Suspecting this might be an internal limitation of the game itself, I deleted a few sceneries that I didn't want to keep (…

Does anyone know of any other products out there (yoke-wise) besides the CH line and Precision Flight Controls? I like the CH line but I'd want to have a dual throttle quadrant (the CH only has a single) and the Precision stuff is awesome but way too expensive.Thanks
