Hi Please advice me i am in the process of building myself a flight simulator for GA Aircraft. I want to use a glass cockpit . I belief that there are a lot of complains about the g3x that are not on standard. I like the G3g but if you can please give me directions of best glass cockpit instruments to use. Do not want to build flight sim and must revamp all in short time. Thinking of simulate a Sting s4 or the vl3 cockpit. Please give me your suggestions. Thanks Hennie

I listened to to this earlier today and was astonished! A jury found the cat-napper guilty and has ordered the landlord to pay $1.4 million dollars for cat-napping a tenant's housecat... I rather doubt the man will ever see as much as fifty-cents, but still this has to have been a record settlement! 😮

The F-35 - A-10 flyoff. https://www.defenseone.com/technology/2023/11/-10-and-f-35-competed-close-air-support-tests-years-ago-report-just-surfaced/391754/ We tried the air superiority - close air support do it all aircraft before with the F-111. It didn't last long. The F-111 was sent to Thailand to fly missions against North Vietnam near the end of that war. After several missions over the north it was withdrawn from the theater. Using the F-105 for the bombing mission and the F-4 for Mig CAP was the best use for both aircraft. I personally think a mix of at least two aircraft designed for specific missions is the bes…

Hey folks, There's a pressing issue that's been on my mind lately: our split presence across IVAO and VATSIM. It's a real shame we're scattered between two networks. Here's the latest : VATSIM: With 700k+ registered members and daily activity buzzing with over 575 pilots and 34 controllers on a monday morning, it's a thriving hub. IVAO: Despite having a quarter-million registrants, activity in some divisions is worryingly low, which doesn't bode well for its future. I'm really concerned about IVAO's sustainability. Wouldn't it be better if we all flew under one virtual sky? Thoughts?

Through lack of resources dedicated to space flight. Often takes twice as long for the licence and environmental assesment as the development of the rocket Starship has been ready to go for over a month. "Too many agencies involved slowing development." "A one-stop shop" required."

Err.... if this is true its astonishing and world changing. Fusion just using water or air and 5 times energy out as put in. Q factor of 2.4 thermal or 5 electrical. Validated by an independent agency. https://eng8.energy/ Be sceptical my friends, but if true the world is about to change rapidly and profoundly.

Good day folks, any idea what's up with the ODG offshore rigs project, I visited their website today and apparently it's down. For 5 years now I've been trying to create an account on their website to download the UK and US offshore rigs but no luck. Just wondering if anybody knows how to get around that... Or has a copy willing to share providing it's not Payware. Default rigs get boring after a while haha!!! Andre

I posted this in the VA section, but got no response. I fly for aavirtual.net but haven't been able to for several days. It seems the website is down. Anyone else who flies for them having this problem or if you know what their status is, would you share?
