i have a request from everybody out there, i do a lot of flying, and usually i fly aircrafts like 767 and 737. and you know that those aircrafts require a two pilots crew. and i have a virtual proffesional log book that requires (Second Pilot In Command) entry. so i am asking everybody if they can offer their real names, for me to include them in the required log. That Will Be Very Great. And It Will Make My Flying Even More Real. I Can Create Names But That's Not Really Real. Please Don't Look At This As A Weird Request. Thanks.

Mr. Tom Allensworth has chosen to discriminate against the users of AMD Athlon Based Computers. Now, I don't know if he is afraid of Computer Profiling lawsuits, but did you read Question number 8 in the Demographic survey. It is bad enough that people are choosing Thin Crust in Question number 19, but the choices for number 8 read:(8) Which best describes your computer?Pentium 1 Pentium 2 Pentium 3 Pentium 4 Macintosh (any) OtherThat's right, he has relegated all of us AMD Athlon users into the category "Other"... It's a travesty I say. So what can we do about it. Simple.Eat nothing but Deep dish pizza while taking the survey. Now - Get out there and Vote, Vote, Vo…

If you could pikc the cover story for a real world magazine, what would you pick the story to be about? I am wondering as I own a magazine and were looking for the perfect story for our first issue coming out in August 2002. Any help would be appreciated. Also we had one on jetBlue ready to be written, and then jetBlue said we couldn't do it when they found out about it. So place your suggestions here. It can be anything about aviation, but we'd prefer commercial aviation as it would interest the most readers.

I recently upgraded my DELL 8200 (which I bought with an OEM version of the NVidia GF3 64MB Ti200 in October 2001) with a new GF4 4600. I am selling the original GF3.For your information, I have overclocked the Ti200, although very little. I added about 25 MHz each to the memory and core clocks using NVMax. I have been "flying" using these settings for several months and have not had any problems with the card. I saw a modest performance boost and kept it there. The card itself is a NVidia branded OEM Card. Memory chips have "EliteMT" printed on them (for what that's worth). Card is cooled with a large heat sink but no independent fan. I am considering selling the card on …

Please read this and think about it, because I really need help...The aftershocks of September 11 are still being felt in my heart, and in the heart of many other Americans. However, for me, it is different. You see, I am Arab, Muslim, Jordanian, and American. Bad combination wouldn't you say? I love flying. Flying has been in my very heart and soul ever since I could walk. By age 5 I could tell apart all the different Boeing Aircraft. When I was 10 I took my first flying lesson, and the joy of flight has been sealed in my soul forever. Yet, on 9/11/2001, terrorists highjacking the peaceful word of Islam, crashed four civillian airliners into symbols of American Pride, th…

Today, FIRO (Flight 800 Independent Researchers Organization) announced the filing of a formal challenge to the "official" findings of the NTSB concerning TWA800The petition, which is linked in the news release below,(and is the last link on the page of this post) is, in my opinion, a disturbing and telling tale of the stonewall that has surrounded the TWA800 crash since the tragedy occurred. All aviators, real and armchair, whatever your opinions on this topic should read the new evidence provided.Cheers,bthttp://twa800.com/news/petition-5-21-02.htmhttp://Flight800.org/FIRO_Petition.pdf

  13. I just saw it and one word....wow. It makes up for everything bad in the first one (ie jar jar isint annoying this time) George Lucas has made a winner this time :-). If you didint like episode 1 dont make the mistake of not seeing the second. Do yourself a favor and go see it! You wont come out dissapointed. Id need more vocabulary to describe how cool this movie is. Make sure you get their at least an hour early (depending on the popularity of the movie theater). Jango Fett and Yoda are so cool in this movie that Id go see it just for them. :-)AndrewYoda is the best!

Heard that today on the radio:For the 75th anniversary of Lindbergh's north Atlantic crossing, there will be a special evening at Le Bourget airport (near Paris, France) on the 28th of June. Le Bourget is the airport where there's an aviation museum, as well as one of the world's most famous airshows once every two years. The evening show starts at 19h00 local time, with free access to the museum, free access to the special exhibition about Atlantic crossing, animations on the aprons, souvenir sale, a "sound-and-light" show and fireworks at the end of the evening.A 22h22, a replica of the Spirit of St Louis built by a Swede will land at the airport. It's the exact time whe…

This may be a little old but I missed it. Might have been due to the tragic events of 11 SEP 2001. But on 08 SEP 2001, SAM-27000 was retired from military service. And is on display at the Reagan Presidential Lirary in California. This aircraft served as the primary Air Force One for Pres. Reagan. Not to be confused with SAM-26000 the aircraft that flew Pres. JFK to Washington after the Tragic day in November 1963. This Air Force One is on display in Dayton, Ohio at the USAF Muesum. http://www.newsmax.com/showinsidecover.sht...002/5/18/143007:-outtahttp://publish.hometown.aol.com/p3superb/images/675-2n.jpg

KING GEORGE, Va. (AP) - A small plane crashed Sunday in the front yard of a rural Virginia home, killing the pilot and two passengers, including a child, state police said.Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller said the airplane, a 1962 Beechcraft Musketeer 23, left Fredericksburg on a pleasure trip that did not require a flight plan.It crashed in the front yard of a home about 18 miles from Fredericksburg after witnesses reported the engine ``suddenly became very loud, and the plane rapidly lost altitude,'' Geller said.No one on the ground was injured. The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration were notified of the crash and…

Negative comments about PSS placed in their "support" forum get deleted almost immediately as being "not support related" so my question is this:IF PEOPLE THAT ARE UNHAPPY WITH THE WAY PSS TREATS THEM CAN'T POST IN THE PSS SUPPORT FORUM OR THE GENERAL DISCUSSION FORUM, THEN WHERE EXACTLY ARE WE REQUIRED PUT THESE TYPES OF POSTS?I'm growing very irritated at the way dissenting opinions about PSS are treated here on Avsim.
