Because Air New Zealand had a pretty bad financial year, they have decided to cut back on services on domestic flights (ie. no business class, more seats on aircraft, only tea/coffee and a snack instead of a meal)Anyway, here's a cartoon which was in the paper last night and thought you might enjoy it. :-) http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/edenw/fs_banner_je3.jpg Think highly of yourself, for the world takes you at your estimate

I have down loaded the POSKY C-17 and would like to learn how to fly it.I did post a message to the POSKY forum but did not recieve a response. Maybe it was the wrong forum to go to. I would be thankful for any help. Thanks,Bob

I must say - the new Nvidia Geforce4 out performs the GeForce2 like a MiG27 fly past a Cessna172 !!:-8... I would like to know if you have any advice one the settings in your DISPLAY properties that should be on / off and what will make a difference in FS2002. I also noticed that the screen refresh rate makes a difference in FS2002. The problem with my monitor is that although it is a Panasonic 20" - I could install the XP driver for it with a refresh rate up to 120 but the moment I restart my computer it picks it up as a Plug-&-Play monitor with a max of 85 ... I also noticed the Antialiasing effects in the display properties have no effect in FS2002 - surely it shou…

If anyone can help, I'd be in heaven again. The other day, I downloaded the A-320-200 offof flightsim.com, and it looks great. The only problem that I have is with the autopilot. I can't get it to lock onto the gps for nav-tracking. I have noticed that in most of the aircraft with the autopilot, that there is a nav/gps switch. I can't find one anywhere on the 4 different panels. Is there a file that I can download for this? Is there anythingelse that I can do? I really like this plane for many of it's reasons, but the creators have added the seatbelt/no smoking buttons for realizm. Let me know if you can help.......:-zhelp "Never miss an opportunity to fly free" …

  16. Hey All,I've always taken a keen interest in the progression of copyright law both in the United States and around the world. I've tried to keep myself informed of copyright legislation throughout the past twenty years and continue to try and keep-up with the fevered pace of the current diabolical minds in the Recording Industry and Paid-For-Congress (no, I agree... I'm not biased in the least :-)).So it happened that I ran across this extremely insightful article in a most unusual place for such a work: the minds at ExtremeTech.com (one of the best technical-yet-consumer oriented resources on the net IMO). Refreshingly, the gentleman who wrote this article has thought…

Thought I'd share this, got it from the Naval Safety Center's Approach Magizine.written by a 5th grader...........I want to be a Navy pilot when I grow up because it's fun and easy to do.Pilot's don't need much school, they just have to learn numbers so they can read instruments.I guess they should be able to read maps so they can find their way if they are lost.Pilots should be brave so they won't be scared if it's foggy and they can't see. If a wing or motor falls off, they should stay calm so they'll know what to do.Pilots need to have good eyes so they can see through clouds and they can't be afraid of lightning or thunder because they are closer to them than we are.…

Hi, folks. I need help in identifying an airfield. The story is as follows:In the summer of 1984, the International Scout Jamboree was held in a camp outside Chelmsford, Essex, U.K. One of the activities I signed up for there was flying. The flying in question was performed from a GA airfield with a grass strip. The plane I got to fly in was a Cessna 172 Skyhawk number G-GBAG.Can anyone recognize the airfield?Lior Bar-On

Just an easy question but it seems impossible for me to get it: I do want to have the menubar on while flying the FS2002, but I can't get it on. While clicking the right mouse button it's always impossible to switch it on. Somehow it seems to be locked... does anyone knows the solution?

I don't know why, but I've started getting a "Runtime 5 error, illeagle call or aurgument" message when I run Wipegauges. It comes up right at the end of the scan gauges part of the program. I have Wipe Gauges ver 3.0.5, and have been using it for a while now. Could it be a recent new aircraft/panel installation? Any help would be appercieated.
