FSLTL Injector Can't Find MSFS 2024 Path
Start ms2024 first and then start the FSTL injector and then it should find the path automatically. This same issue happens to me when I start FSTL first.

not raging ... well, kinda my PMDG editorial
Agree. The 737 is a good aircraft. It performs well and the cockpit looks great.

Boris PMDG 737 2024 sound pack - what do you think?
I am thinking of getting the Boris sounds since the default are not great. I don't really mind not hearing the knobs and dials if that is the case. The click click sound of the dials in default sounds unrealistic as it is because it would be drowned out by the engines. Its the engine sounds that really matter. The rest is just not as important at least to me.

This blind pilot could use some help please.
I can't really help I am afraid but its great to see flight simming being available for all to enjoy. Hopefully someone here can help. Good luck and have fun.

PMDG 738 update v 4.00.007 available 13JAN26
Touchdown sounds being added gets my vote. Sometimes I land smoothly and can't tell if I landed:)

Weather in FS2024 is dangerous
In 2020 and before, I would fly anywhere regardless of real world weather/conditions and never deviate because of weather because it had no real impact on the plane. Its fine to fly through a dangerous storm. So I switched to 2024 a few weeks ago and I am flying into Kuala Lumpar in the PMDG 737. As I am turning towards final approach I see a big dark cloud in front with lightning and heavy rain coming out of it. Cool. I turn on the weather radar and it shows a blotch of red between my plane and the runway. Cool, weather radar works but its a gimmick because storm intensity never matters. As usual I'll just go right through the red spot since it won't have any real impact. When I enter the "red" my normal 700fpm descent turned into a 200fpm climb. What i have come to realise is called "cloud suck". My speed also increased 14kts. I had to do a missed approach because I could not stay on the glidescope or near it. Now what? I guess I'll wait for the storm cell to pass the final approach course but now I am very low on fuel. I only put in just enough for the destination because I never needed an alternative and have everything set up for the approach I am on. I ended up doing a very short final to avoid the cell. First time in 20 years of FS I've had to alter my plan because of weather.

PMDG 737 MSFS2024 "Mini-Review" after my first 17 flights
I bought it and other than the couple of annoying sounds its good. My go to plane. People keep comparing it to the Fenix but many of us don't own that because the FBW is good enough for our needs. People complain about the price but buy the plane anyway so the price was just right.

MSFS2024 - an initial impression after waiting 12 months
I switched over in the last couple of weeks as well but think the colours look more lifelike. Having been on a plane maybe a hundred times I would say it's more realistic in 2024 compared to 2020. In 2020 everything seemed more colourful and didn't reflect the harsh sunlight beating down on the ground like you see in real life. Slightly off topic I did my first night flight and the lighting is just incredible.

MSFS 2024 overtakes MSFS 2020 in player numbers on SteamDB
I just switched to 2024 last week when I got a new PC. It may take time but the gap will continue to widen.

MSFS 2024 Surprise Hint Surfaced
There will be far more MSFS2024 users who will try out and want this than people who consider it pointless and stupid like yourself. Maybe 95% to 5% (if I had to guess). Therefore they made the right decision and I agree with you that for me it's pointless and I don't want it! If they catered solely to avsim users and what they need - the sim would have shutdown a year after MS2020 launched because sales would not match costs.

MS Flight Sim on a $5000 computer
What kind of PCs do you need? I just bought a 9800x3d 5070TI from Scan in the UK for £1900 (around $2500) and i am playing MSFS2024 maxed out at 4k. Works fine. No idea my framerate. I don't check because it is smooth. OK I am using default airports but I am flying the FBW A320 with FSTL instead of GA, which uses more resources, but if I need more frames it's easily achievable I think. For starters I am not using any tweaks. DLSS is on but i haven't touched anything else I have seen here mentioned like Frame Generation settings (FSR?)) mostly because I don't know what they do 🙂 If I need more frames I could also just set everything High instead of Ultra since you can't tell the difference anyway. If you are running a 3 monitor setup i can understand a better GC is needed otherwise you don't need $5k to run MSFS well. Half that is enough.

I was going to drop the $ for a new computer but...
It was. Running MS2024 maxed out at 4k and it looks and performs great. The new lighting in 2024 is out of this world. It makes a huge difference to how the world looks. I don't use third party airports and use the FBW A320 mostly, which is not particularly heavy, so it seems to handle what i have thrown at it so far.

I was going to drop the $ for a new computer but...
I just bought a new pc this week off Amazon. Got a 9800x3d with Geforce 5070TI for £1900. Its a lot but my old pc was a 9700k Geforce 2070, which I bought in 2019 for £1500 so felt it was time. That ran 2020 okay but I had to dial down traffic and some of the setting like resolution. Going to upgrade to 2024 on the new PC. There are a couple of other games coming out next year I want to play as well. If this lasts 6 years as well it works out at £300 a year, which is quite cheap really when a takeaway costs £35. I gave my old computer to my son so that £1500 cost is still paying itself off!

A Total Eclipse of the Sim
I think incomplete games/sims at release are to be expected. The price of a game/sim has hardly changed in 20 years. We were paying £50 for Nintendo64 games back then. Prices have hardly moved but complexity and cost have risen substantially. Yes I know there are higher priced variants of msfs but the core main sim, which most buy, is still not much higher than we paid 20 years ago for FSX. I guess they have a choice. Bump up prices substantially or fix forward after release.

A Total Eclipse of the Sim
They never promised anything. They just said what their plans were, which are subject to change as are all our plans. People want more openness from msobo but that will involve hearing more "we currently are planning this" that could change. Its not like they signed a contract with you to do A B C.

Looks great!

Grass Developers Deserve a Medal
I second the OP. I hated the sandpaper texture that is grass in all other simulators. Apart from looking great it also gives the appearance of speed when taking off and landing.

Real or not real....
Looks not real. First pic the runway lights are a bit of a giveaway. The shading on the belly in the second pic. Third is close though to real! Just messing with ya. Nice pics

The price of fsx payware addons
Some great addons are dirt cheap. I bought the Airbus X for £22 and i must have done a 100 terrific flights with it (and counting). I cant think of anywhere else i could spend that money and get as much back.

P3D3.2 looks really good, but hesitations are really bad!
Stutters are caused by AI Traffic. Turn it off and you will see.

Advice on a new PC for Prepar3d V3
Your spec is similar to mine and you should be able to run P3D well enough with mid range settings. One thing in your favour is that LM consider performance to be a key consideration and have show it by making performance fixes in each release. It's not the case that you need more power as each new version come out like in the FS days. 3.1 runs better than v2 did for me and that's key as your machine does not give you any headroom. Addons are a different matter and I don't think you can throw too many at it but i think your spec looks okay if you are on a budget. I seen people with the latest and greatest PCs complaining about performance. It's all about what is acceptable to you. Have fun

Get out your wallets and your credit cards.....
I think it will be years before it competes with p3d with its currently available addons or even FSX. Stay with what you have unless you have OOMs is my advice.
